Absolutely, but Nortech is still my dream boat.. Deep impact is def in my top 5 to be sure.. I love this idea of putting a vid together showcasing a single brand.. Very good idea.. keep em coming, gives us a chance to really see our fav boats perform in various condition's..There is never enough of people's fav boats... Did I say it was a good idea?? Bad ass brother
Seems the way the engines are controlled keeps the bow higher than midnight expresses that are quicker to get the bow down ( and speed); something for the ME team to consider for rough conditions. Someone mentioned Midnight Expresses run like Bass Boats - may have a point. They may trim them to try to run fast over rough water, but the Deep Impacts of the world appear to have the trim set to keep bow up more.
That last boat, that lost an engine cover, is really stupid! They traveled at least a couple of hundred yards after it fell off! And to put a swimmer in the water in an area where another boat can come blowing past, without a dive flag present, or dive buoy in the water, is beyond stupid, it's outright negligent!!
Absolutely agree. Didn't drop anchor first, didn't leave some sort of diver in water buoy, didn't pay attention to mechanical problems, didn't even stop vessel, left the motors running...
These boats have a similar, dubious, downward-sloping bow as Midnight Express boats do, like they're deliberately designed to stuff bow in heavy seas. However, something about the Deep Impact boats seems different, like even though the bow is downward sloping, something else about the boat makes it impossible to stuff the bow. I can't tell what it is exactly, but just watching how they plow the inlet, it seems there's a special sauce here. I would consider buying a Deep Impact, but not a Midnight Express.
Who is a Deep Impact boat fan? Heavy and reliable hull in my opinion

Deep Impact is definitely one of my favorite boats. BTW Deep Impact is the sister brand to Black Water Boats
Fun to see the people who have nice things and know how to use it vs. those that have nice things and it just gets them out of a bind.
I will wait for the midnight express video.
Coming

Any idea what’s going on there at the end? Can’t imagine that’s a choice spot for snorkeling.
check the engines, you will see
New to your channel and would love to catch a live. Do you tend to do a set live day?

No bow flare no thank you ….. I’m a hardcore fisherman I need bow flare
Bad hull design and wrong lcg
No Outboards of any kind Please. Multiple high HP Outboards are just a waste of good money! I will stick to High HP twin diesel hulls.
