- I've been interviewing Taylor Scism for years and I always wanted to do a Sea Trial on one of their boats. Today Taylor was with her father, Randy Scism and I was given the boat ride of a lifetime. The swells were five feet sometimes bigger and the Mti V42 center console from Mti handled it like a champ. The boat is extremely predictable and has a patented hull design. .
Equipped with quad Mercury 450hp Outboards this boat has reached a top speed of 89Mph.Lets see the King OF Haulover be humbled by Taylor Scism her smile says it all !

Very fast and powerful boat . Handled three to over five footers very well . Got up on plain easily. Thanks for the Awesome Video . Looked like 👍 a lot of fun filming it . Fantastic boat layout and design . No spray whatsoever back in you’re faces no matter how rough or what speeds you were traveling at .
Taylor has a nice smile. Plus she is not afraid of the boat. She knows what it can handle.

It would be nice if you added the docking on a boat with with quads in your videos.. Us boaters want to see that.. I also would like to see bow thrusters (if equipped) and if 2 of the engines can steer separately via joystick, for ease docking, and what those mechanical aspects are.. It's pretty amazing how smooth the ride was at 80 miles an hour. I don't think you would have guessed you were going that fast if they hadn't told you.

I just love to dream about owning a mad boat one day and if I could have whichever boat I wanted which boat would I chose? well this MTI would have to be on the top of my list simply for its awesome race bread hull design and top-end speed, very nice boat indeed.

Question to MTI design. Realistically, not all owners will be truly capable of handling throttle and helm simultaneously through upper range. Foot throttle possible???
Throttles are fly by wire now so technically you can do pretty much anything you want
Well, throttle has to be fixed in it's position even on rough water. I see no chance of driving a boat with footpedal.
