The focus today is on plow stops. When I tore the meniscus in my knee last season, I had to do a lot of physical therapy exercises to help my knee be stronger when in a twisting motion, like with a plow stop (the exercises I share here are some of what I've been doing all off season to get stronger🦵). I also have hips that want to do the opposite of what plow stops ask us to do so I have asked my good friend/teammate, Bellatrix LeStrangle to share her special super powers with me. I am still working on strengthening my plow stops as a 10 year derby player after my injury so basics are always worth the effort!!

The most important takeaways for plow stop form are to keep your hips as square as possible to the target you are attempting to stop, chest up, and foot adjusting and driving at an angle as perpendicular to your body as you can make it. It also helps if you can make your plows small to make it easier to work in walls.
