Love my crimpit , i prefer mine done in the air fryer for 5 mins and i also found it better with normal white bread . I brush the outside with a little walnut oil (on a low cholesterol diet) and whatever filling i fancy . The bread comes out like fried bread but without dripping in fat . Absolutely lovely.

Literally took about 7 seconds to figure out how to use it. You can make two sandwiches, eat them and wash the dishes in less than 14 minutes😂😂😂

i just purchased one, £14.99 bit expencive for 2 pieces of plastic. Works well thou, excellent content.I use thin cut bread find it far cheaper than buying "thins" 6 in a packet.Air Fryer 8mins on air fry turn after 4 mins

Use Toastabags to prevent any spillage into the toaster. I use them.
That’s a good idea. Obviously if they are crimped properly then it shouldn’t be a problem but of course everyone makes the odd mistake or over fills from time to time. Thank you for the suggestion x
I used normal bread and it worked fine
Yes k think it’s fine too. Obviously at the time The Crimpet came out it was heavily pushing the warburtons squares to match up with it but yes any bread works fine.

Ham and cheese toasties are our favourite too.
I put mine into a toastie bag to make sure it didn't make a mess

I'm in Ireland so need to use Pat the Baker Slimbos (emailed Warburton and apparently they don't export here at this time). Hasn't put me off making CRIMPiT videos for my channel. Agreed you need to use some darn elbow grease to get that crimp to occur lol!

@@BIGOGGIEWORLD ah, wow! Always wanted to go to Cork. My Godmother is from Waterford so has that kind of accent hehe. I saw Cork on the Young Offenders, it doesn't look too different from where I live aesthetically, although the vibe is a bit different (actually there's a well-known sitcom based on where I live too. Ended earlier this year ;) )

This seems like the perfect invention for a late-night snack that doesnt require you having to get a frying pan or getting something under the grill. Well I agree that they aren’t the biggest sandwiches I have ever seen but I guess they are designed for lower calories lol. Actually my daughter has had them every day since we got it… it’s quick and easy for her to make herself x
I watched you both demonstrate the Crimpit. I went on google to find out more about it and decided to see what people said about it and was absolutely horrified to find that there were complaints about it melting!! Well of course it will melt if they put it in the toaster or air fryer complete with the plastic casing. How stupid can you be?? If you don’t read the instructions properly then you shouldn’t have one.
