It’s unusual where these type of things turn out to be useful from past experience, this one hit the mark - they are great as a snack as not too greasy / heavy - lots of other options of fillings too! And very little to clean/wash up too!
I’m sure the birds would love the crusts birds 🦆 🦅 🦢 (although they might get wrong for eating it as might not be good for them 😀)

We have one of these. They work really well with pastry making little pasties. We cook them in the air fryer they come out perfect

Handy snack box, best make sure the side/corners facing downwards in toaster are well sealed first to head off leaks into toaster.

You could make your own “thins” by using a rolling pin to make ordinary bread slices thinner.
It’s a really good question - I’ve not tried it but imagine the consistency would be different but will give it a go and find out 👍
I have to say when i saw i said to Debz " That will never fit in our toaster" 🙂 Its a brilliant idea, and we will defo be getting one, or two 🙂

Hi guys - really recommend! Easy to use, carry and make Bob on toasties x David keeps practicing… no wonder there is no bread or cheese left and Roxy is following him around 🤣. 💕💕💕
If I want to be extra careful with a full filling or especially if doing cheese and beans ones, I pop the parcels in my Lakeland toastabag’s to toast them. No worries about any leaks then 👍🏻
You do indeed need to be careful or it could make a mess in the toaster. Can you reuse the toastabags or are they single use?

Hi both what a brilliant little gadget and works so well I may have to get one for holidays! We have a normal sandwich toaster which is great but it’s all the prep and cleanup it seems a much better way to work! I am sure my two boys… well all of us would enjoy them! I can see how both thins and bread would work I bet the possibilities are endless!
My favourite toasties are cheese and onion a nice strong cheddar, cheese and ham tuna and cheese and bacon cheese and bbq sauce! Looking forward to the next one greetings from the West Midlands Daniel

Which makes better toasties a Crimpet or a RidgeMonkey. We have neither so would like to know what you think. Take care Gill
Hi Gill, personally, I prefer the ones made in a Crimpit with bread - you could toast a Crimpit made sandwich in the Ridgemonkey. I do like full toasties though but that’s more if you want to make a meal out of it rather than a snack size - hope that makes sense,,, all the best, David & Rachel 👍
How does this compare say to a Greggs "cheese and onion bake"?
05:55 I think I'd probably prefer to use the thins purely because of the fire risk
A different texture and taste - difficult to describe but more bread / cheesy where as the greggs cheese and onion bake is more pastry and squidgy cheese. Both nice just different
What no buttering the bread ???
You can butter it if you want but we find it’s great without 👍
