My substitute for this is stiff arm pull downs. If you have cable access. Or use bands.
Mine too. Stiff Arm Pulldowns on the right cable machine are great. The old school nautilus pullover is the best but VERY hard to find on the used equipment market
Have you tried using 2 bands for this instead of 1 ? Wondering how it would feel
In terms of overloading these over time, would you prioritize using a thicker band or a heavier dumbell?
Probably the heavier dumbbell. I think once I max out the dumbbell weight in my gym with the mini-band I might drop the weight back down and increase the band tension. I tried these once before with some heavier bands and lighter dumbbells and didn't like the feel nearly as much. But that was when I first started the exercise and wasn't very strong on them. Still not very strong on them, ha! Really tough exercise if you use a controlled tempo and full range of motion.

Can we do this exercise for accesorh for medium pull days ?
This is an exercise that is probably best served for those training on more of a body part type split. If you are doing a full body 3x/week HLM type program you probably won't be doing banded pullovers.
@@andybaker2413 if im doin heavy light setup 4x per week which DL day im doin this exercise ? Heavy or Light DL day ?
