The Ending Of Logan Explained

- The Wolverine trilogy ended in the most fitting and surprising way possible. Jackman’s final appearance as the X-Men's most ferocious anti-hero was not your typical action-packed superhero movie.
Critics are already praising the movie as one of the best superhero movies ever made. Logan is also proof that even though superhero movies are built for high-action entertainment they can also be poignant and profound.
Logan is more than just a superhero movie and it has subtle nuances from start to finish. If you’re wondering whether you got the message at the end of the movie, here are details about its ending you may not know about.

What was your favorite moment in Logan?
Looper when Logan found charle Javier dead on the bed 😢 and also when Logan run to save the kids at the end
When defne keen says DADDY while logan is dying in the last scene.
Looper The professor talking to Logan about leaving him with a f*cking albino and X-23's first fight.
Four words for you: LOGAN ON GREEN STEROIDS!!!
Looper the ending fight
I'll say, when Laura turned Logan's cross into an X, that hit me unexpectedly hard. I found it hard to say goodbye to Hugh's Logan after 17 years. But whatever happens in the future of the franchise, Hugh Jackman will always be the Wolverine.
Damn right Movie Man. It was truly an ultimate ending. Turning the cross into an X I thought was a reference to the Weapon X program from Origins
Brian O'Rourke turning the cross into an X was referring to wolverine's status as an X-men, which is what Laurel had always believe in
Movie Man true,so true
agreed
Movie Man I'll tell you what hit me hard, when Laura said "Daddy" over Logan's corpse. I still have moisture in my eye. 😔😔😔😔😔😔
This movie really made me sad from beginning to end. Seeing Logan so weak throughout the film when he's always been such a untouchable beast.
I just commented that too. Why would we want to see him so fragile as the last film, nobody wants to rem him like that. Ill probably never watch this movie again
Because chemicals, that blocks his powers and makes him age and weak is the only way to kill immortal.
Ben Rajan Yeah..
Even sadder seeing a prime version of himself take him out.
in The Wolverine he was also weakened *yawn*
Who else cried when he died
shut up, whats the problem with crying bc of a sad scene?
I shed a tear : (
Israel Frederick I was the only one crying in the fucking theater
Israel Frederick I watched it with my family and it was like
Mom: With cellphone
Younger Brother: Doesn't understand anything
Me: Deadass face *turn my head to my father*
Father: Tearing up
Me: *Why is dad tearing up?*
Israel Frederick me
When Laura turns the cross on Logan's grave to a X
Haider Ahmad my heart sank 😢😥😭😭
Haider Ahmad I was there.
I started tearing
That scene was very intense and powerful...
Haider Ahmad epic
"It wasn't me Charles, It wasn't' me"
FUCKING HELL DUDE NOT AGAIN
This has me crying
Vincenzo Carrano I was crying at that part
Vincenzo Carrano TOO SOON
Once his clone showed up the movie turned to shit.
There is no bonus clip at the end. Just want to save you guys time.
mrlaydback11 SPOILER for people that haven't seen it. Because the bonus clip is at the beginning of the movie
mrlaydback11 thank you. Did he even put on the suit?
Clark Kent it was deadpool trailer
Clark Kent No, he didn't.
mrlaydback11 Isn't it because the movie Logan wasn't made by Marvel, who are know to put a bonus clip in all of their movies?
There will never be another Wolverine...
There will be, its just likely that the new one won't be as good.
@@DZ-1987 *_NEVER_* be as good.
DZ tbh I think they will replace wolverine with Laura from the movie and she could be like a kid wolverine or something like that. I hope not though.
@my mom joke? Alright then.
So there's this guy who likes this girl. Said guy is also good with the trumpet.
So, one day, his friend caught him staring at this girl. His friend then said "toot to woo"
If Hugh Jackman isn't wolverine
I ain't watching any more Wolverine movies. SORRY KIDDO.
Sofia Cataldi yeah that's what happened when Spider-Man 4 was cancelled but guess what suckers still came back for Amazing Spider-Man and it still did NUMBERS well because, he's Spider-Man. Same concept with wolverine it's how it works we'll be back in the cinema seats with our popcorn it's just a matter of time
THIS!
Sofia Cataldi I mean same but honestly, probably still gonna watch any future wolverine movies. I’ll complain about the lack of Jackman bitterly, though.
~ Agreed ~ Sincerely ~
@Paradox he holds a special place in the hearts of who watched him, lets face it, we're getting older, at some point there's going to be a new wolverine, a new iron man and many other reboots aimed at the younger audiences, just because we who saw the original won't go doesn't mean younger generations wont go to see it and we're probably gonna see them too because we will have to take our kids to see them
watched it today
when they burried him
she turned the cross into x
me n my friends were hoping for his claws to come out of the graveyard ..
the screen went dark ..
all of us died in pain too
a legendary movie
a perfect ending for a final movie of the series
praying for Hugh Jackman's full recovery from skin cancer
Bharath Prabhu i thought that to i was like man please he not dead he finna jump up but he didn't he just didn't
Bharath Prabhu lol that would of been the biggest cliche ever
MrPnuthead yeah ikr .. but I can't stand the idea of logan stepping out of the grave whose not portrayed by Hugh
Damare Howard but if u look at the bright side .. the wolverine finally became mortal and met with a glorious death having met his daughter .. and Hugh Jackman will get time to recover from his skin cancer
Bharath Prabhu he has skin cancer
That must be why Logan kept insisting that Professor Charles take his medicine. He didn't want the professor to remember the "killings" that he did in Westchester (which happened after Days of Future Past) So sad... :(
This movies does not follow after "Days of Future Past", in fact, this movie does not follow any other movie previously released. Why? The director said that he didn't want to cage the end of a legend in such a complicated backstory, and wanted people to be able to watch it even if they haven't watched Wolverine:Origins, Wolverine: Inmortal and the other X-men movies. They wanted it to be it's own thing, and i'm glad they did.
Paul Sanchez Cordova this movies is set in 2029.. in a distopian future
I thought it was in the same timeline as the first X-Men, because they referenced the happenings at the statue of liberty.
+OhMyTekTime it still does not follow any other x-men movie. Logan is still it's own universe.
Vulcano Nope, it's in the description to the movie on rotten tomatoes www.rottentomatoes.com/m/logan_2017/ I was confused at first but it makes sense now.
I literally cried when he actually died. 😭well, that was one hell of a ride. Thanks for making my childhood crazy wild Jackman. Your a legend. ❤️
To add to the feels, remember what the lady in The Wolverine said? She said she saw him on his back covered in blood with his heart in his hand.
He dies holding X-23's hand
Me too bro....i totally feel u....

Zerathul123 until there is... wink wink;)
Coming soon: Nathan Summers!
I liked him in Van Helsing as well as playing wolverine
u look 40 yourself dude. hwo could you see jackman as wolvie at 10?
The whole cinema would go bananas if the final scene shows Logan's claws pop out of the grave.
little N Nah that would ruin it
yeah that would ruin it only because in a way thats what happened at the end of bats v supes
Pumba Danny Exactly why I hated the ending of BvS.
too predictable and clichè

End of an Era, guys.

hes old he cant run ...he needs rest
Hugh Jackman is the man. Even if he won't come back as wolverine anymore, he will always be the wolverine in our heart. Logan; It's a good movie.
Albert Freddy I loved it.
marlene grippin me too 😉
Good movie is an understatement. Haha
super mother*#@king Good movie i loved it
Albert Freddy There is a spinoff Wolverine starring Andrew Garfield as half human half robot Wolverton.
Logan was the best movie i've seen in years
Jared Smith Yeah since 2008.
Benchmark470 Stop Trolling please it's embarrassing.
Jared Smith I'll give you some suggestions: Inception, Interstellar, Django Unchained, Prisoners, Argo, Wolf of Wall Street
kalebpost20 oh my fuck yes!!! prisoners one of the most underrated movies ever
kalebpost20 I personally think Logan is better than all of those films.
The movie Logan and the video game Last Of Us are so similar in many ways.
BreannasStuff Omg! I'm SO GLAD I'm not the only person that felt like Logan took a ton of LOU ques
BreannasStuff but joel doesn't die remember that
Man finds daughter figure, she is a key for the future of their kind, they travel, bad guys try to kill them, other companions die along the way, at one point father figure is injured, daughter figure takes car of him, blood is spilt, hearts are broken.
I love the fact that Logan feels like TLoU, The Road and True Grit all rolled into one. Three amazing products of their respective mediums. At the very least the shot of 23 in the passenger seat with Logan driving is a direct reference to Ellie and Joel in the exact same situation with the exact same camera shot.
LSSG Broly da fuq is wrong with u...
LSSG Broly if your profile picture is an dbz/s wank your argument is invalid
No Around 100% of you are wrong about the timeline
1) Wolverine was born 1832 AD 2) Everything in X men orgins Wolverine up to 1973 is cannon (in 1962 prof x and magneto see Logan but quickly leave)
3)Days of future past (1973 is cannon) the present of the new universe is also cannon (when Logan wakes up)
4) Apocalypse: Logan captured and freed
5 ) After Apocalypse comes all the other movies E.G Deadpool,Deadpool 2, Xmen Supernova. All the other movies come here before Logan wakes up at the end of DOFP.
6) After Logan wakes up in 2023 6 years pass and during this Prof x has a seizure and kills most mutants leading to Logan Caliban and prof x being on the run.
7) Now comes Logan 6 years after the end of DOFP in the year 2029 (mutants sent being born anymore)
8) (SPOILER ALERT IF U HAVE NOT WATCHED LOGAN).
Logan and prof x die and x23 (Logan's Daughter) leaves to a safer place. This is the End of Logan the Wolverine
Except they've said that Logan is in an alternate, it's own canon, universe... it doesn't actually line up with all the stuff. Somethings happened, other things didn't- somethings happened just differently... I mean, to be fair if Days of Future Past happened exactly as it did in the movie in that universe, Logan aged insanely fast in 6 years, for someone who, mathwise, has been estimated to age about 1 year every 15... and I think it's more than just his healing not working as well anymore... though we haven't been told how long that's been going on- I feel all that scar tissue wouldn't just be 5 years with the Xmen, and 1 year without...
www.slashfilm.com/logan-different-universe/
canon not cannon , you dumb fuck.
dose not really matter now that xmens coming back to marvel
This is well said. A good summary of the timeline.
Daniel Deguara where will dark Phoenix take place in this timeline
The ending made me cry
Timothy Mckee it wasn't shown at my screening.
Timothy Mckee wait deadpool was in Logan?
ImpulseXS there was like a 5 minute Deadpool video at the very beginning of Logan... dead pool wasn't part of the story line
Tical Hezzy oh so it was in the movie tho?
Sameer Ledger hey I'm not allowed to see the movie can someone explain the ending with all spoilers plz!!
I absolutely LOVED this movie. I haven't seen such a good comic book movie since The Dark Knight. The ONLY thing I think "Logan" could have done better was to utilize its villains. There was so much more potential for the main villain Pierce to be more threatning and iconic. Imagine if he was more like how Gary Oldman was in Léon; just absolutely ruthless all the way.
I KNOW! I hated how he kinda got less and less screentime -_-
KADIO yeah I agree. I think x24 should have been daken instead of a clone
Jack Bown so it was albert and not daken
Oh yes, that would have been fucking awesome!
KADIO "Like Gary Oldman in Léon". That, good sir, is an AWESOME example! :D
This is my list of favorite Wolverine Movies
1. Logan
2. X-Men 2
3. X-Men
4. The Wolverine
4. X-Men 3
5. X- Men Origins
The whole time continuum distorted movies were not good in my opinion so I personally do not see them as cannon.
"In fiction, canon is the material accepted as officially part of the story in the fictional universe of that story. It is often contrasted with, or used as the basis for, works of fan fiction."
You don't get to pick what is canon, that's the whole point of it.
John Smith you are one of the dumbest people around on the internet
I don't want to say bye to wolverine :(
John Smith days of future past?
what's to explain? He died, then she made the cross an x
He fell on a branch

Everybody is talking about Logan's death but Charles' dead was really sad too 😭😭
MtRexX most than others...
I knew his death was coming, I was just hoping it wasn't like that.
MtRexX yeah i'm crying too. he just want a peaceful life.
+ario rangga So shocking how brutal his death was. I was hoping for a death that wasn't so horrible, but I am greatful that before he died he said what a great night he had. You could also see how much Logan cared for Charles when he got buried. It was all very bloody and maybe a bit too heavy, but I'm glad that Logan and Charles really showed their love for eachother. They will always live on in my heart.
I think Logan ans Charles, are for me not only heroes, they are good peoples. Caracteres with many feels, they have beautiful powers and they not want fight only they wants peace un thé World. They have make mistake but they wants the good for this world. I will Never forget them.
Charles was happy for this night, he remember the accident... And he cry... So terrible, his death... Rip..
This movie was heavy in terms of emotion and tone. Seeing Xavier wheelchair stricken and basically delusional broke my heart his death also completely shocked me and honestly made me shed a few tears, the man poured his heart out to who he thought was Logan only to be stabbed in the chest by the same adamantium claws. When that scene happened, everyone in the theater went dead silent, it was eerie as fuck. I've grown up watching Hugh Hackman play wolvernine and this movie was such a brilliant send off to his amazing character. As sad as I was with Logan dying in the end I felt like it was right, he destroyed his demons (literally and figuratively) got revenge and ultimately saved his daughter who he finally acknowledged on his death bed. This movie is amazing and I'm so glad that we were all fortunate enough to have such an amazing portrayal of wolverine done by Hugh jackman.
Xavier was always wheelchair stricken, but the rest I completely agree.
I know right everyone didn't say a word and I actually cried
i think he,ll be back
Tronomon Gaming man I hope your right
King Tol not in xmen first class
"It wasn't me Charles. It wasn't me."
was I the only one crying so fucking hard at the end?!
Adam Gutierrez no bro I was like a baby
Adam Gutierrez I wasn't crying just a hella sad
Bro I was in tears
Nope, if true fans of the X-Men were really true fans then they would know that Cable helps Apocalypse restore some errors in the timeline to where things are more better and Wolverine isn't dead.
It's sad that the last Wolverine movie is the only "Wolverine" movie
et 37 this is not the last wolverine Hugh Hackman said he wants tom hardy to play as wolverine
et 37 True
Finally we get the Wolverine we deserve and its already the last one..!!
Barry Lyndon - I agree this one is better than all the other Wolverine movies.
yea fuck the capeshit movies that have taken over recently.
After Logan, I wish Hugh Jackman would play Joel in a Last of Us movie... that would be EPIC!!!
Luis Waldo thought the same thing. Finding a perfect Ellie would be hard though.
Jonathan Noriega Ellen Page?
too old
Nikolai Rimas that's a but true, but i feel like the character was modeled after her
Hugh isn't too old to play joel. remember joel is at least 50yrs old during the 1st game. doubt hugh would do it since it's too similar to logan. Gerard Butler or Josh Brolin would be my picks to play joel
RIP to the BEAST
even if they did bring back Wolverine, it wouldn't be the same or as good as Hugh Jackman's interpretation.
Life As UMB Let’s say jackman decides to return out of the blue how the hell will wolverine even continue? What I’m basically trying to say is he can barely heal anymore and Is continuing to die as time passes his powers don’t really work anymore plus he’s lost his step so how wld he even fit in anymore and what the hell wld a potential next film be regarding Wolverine oh ya everyone in the X-men is dead anyways that I no of anyways soooooo ya...leave your guyses ideas in the reply section
Who the fuck needs an explanation to the ending
I literally just clicked on this vid out of confusion and curiosity as to how anything would need explaining.
can u explain to me how did x24 die of an adamantium bullet after what we saw in x men origins?
qsk 97 Eh idk. Lucky shot? Honestly there was no other way to have them plausibly beat X-24. Although it seems like a stretch I think the adamantium bullet was the best way to end that fight.
qsk 97 I forgot his name but the scientist that created him needed to use a serum to bring him back to life after he died the first time when the farmer shot him with an ordinary shotgun shell. He probably kept him from healing as fast as the original wolverine and needed the aid of the serum to recover from more serious injuries in case he couldn't control him. Which was the case in the farmer scene when he couldn't get X-24 to stop his rampage of killing all those men.
qsk 97 x24 just had adamantium claws.
I can't post this on my facebook because I obviously would be judged. But does anyone feel like part of your childhood came to an end? I know previous generations got comics and I'm jealous that you had so many issues. But my generation, we have them in the flesh through movies. Sure, some of them are terrible but man.... Seventeen years of him as my wolverine. Really hit me hard to know that chapter is over. Ugh... Okay, I made my peace. Hope you guys liked the film as much as I did. Hugh, thank you for the ride.
Fresh M3 You're not alone in feeling that way, brother/sister.
Fresh M3 I can feel you I never realized that I was so much attached to this character not the movie not the actor the character that died .
You have comics just like everyone before you. You just don't feel like buying and reading them.
I know I can still buy the comics. But buying comics in 2017 is not the same as buying them 20-30 years ago. I thought that leap of logic was more of a hop or a skip. I apologize for not clarifying :D. Thanks for being a douche though, makes this feel more like real life and not a happy tribute to an amazing character.
A little part of me died with wolverine it feels like in my heart. He was one of the one things in my life that I thought would always be there since I thought he was pretty much immortal. It fucking sucks
I'm so angry that he is gone, they killed off their best character
GodsHelpers all of them are dead besides the kids and the peeps in Canada
Not to mention Deadpool and others.
But an perfect ending for the Legend Wolverine
That Charles died pisses me off more
@Geralt of Trivia he played the role for 17 years, he was bound to retire it at some point, at least the character went out with a bang
csgrambauer he’s not dead
I wouldn't like anyone other than Huge Jackman to play the role of Wolverine.
Every one kept laughing at the little black kid everytime it showed him.
Cerino Gold Omg Same
"It" ? oh... you meant "He". SMH...
No I meant it
Like I said... SMH.
Why? How does "Every one kept laughing at the little black kid everytime he showed him" sound correct?
Canada. Powerful. Mutant. Am I weird if my first guess was Deadpool?
Anshuman Jain Wolverine is a Canadian as well
i don't think Deadpool is "powerful"
Nguyễn Thế Duy he has pretty much killed every marvel character
Anshuman Jain hmmm interesting....
Coming soon: Nathan Summers!
futurespells AHEM "cumming soon " 😂😂😂😂
Its so sad because I grew up watching Hugh Jackman as the only wolverine, and i never thought he could be replaced, and I dont think any actor would come close to his legacy.
*Old movies have that special charm to them. ✅😁*
So...no one is going to point out that the redhead in The Wolverine's premonition about Logan dying with him holding his heart on his hand can metaphor him holding Laura before dying TT
www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/logan-ending-was-beautifully-foreshadowed-wolverine-984956 so awesome
that universe was erased when Logan went down in time
he changed the timeline and she also said that she saw him die in a room not outdoors.
Is anyone going to point out the terrible grammar of the post?
lol its just youtube comments lol not am english exam
It would Be so Awesome that after 10 years in a movie of X force, we get A small scene of Hugh Jackman As wolverine...showing he Isn't dead.
Not possible, they would have to do another Days of Future Past to make another timeline and somehow revive Wolverine
Brian O'Rourke this isn't part of the main timeline
but it can be possible that he came back from dead... He was dead in X men origins too.
Khyleal Winston this is part of the main timeline. this movie take place 6 years after DOFP.
Harshit Langer wolverine didnt die in origins. it was clearly mentioned that the bullet would destroy his brain but it will regenerate, only his memories wont recover.
Looper can I ask why did Logan died just in a branch when he's skeleton is made out of adamantium even when he don't have he's healing factor there is no way a shard wood will cut to adamantium
Clorox Bleach dude, if you saw the movie you know that his healing factor was not working very well. Over the years of fighting and taking so much damage inflicted on him, his healing factor was then taking damage and just naturally started to stop working. Which made him age a bit and not be the badass wolverine we saw in 2013. Wolverines mutation isn't the same as Charles Xavier or cyclops. Those guys mutations are permanent while Logan's was not. Over time his healing factor would wear out and so would his body like any other person and then die
Ofc I watched the movie and I loved wolverine lemme tell you the branch will really go throw your skin but Logan's back is made out of adamantium right?
So how did the branch get true I know Logan won't heal anymore he take medicine but adamantium will forever as strong as it is Logan may lost healing but he still had he bones made out of adamantium
The Adamantium only coats his skeleton, not his entire body. The branch easily went through the gaps in the rib cage. Also Wolverine's healing factor WOULD'VE been permanent had he not been injected with Adamantium. The Adamantium poisoned him and broke down his healing factor.
Yep, it was explained in the movie. Adamantium was somehow poisoning him.
Clorox Bleach and the adamantium was poisoning him
If they put the X-men In the new avengers and get the infinite gauntlet back Logan and the others will come back🔥💯
But wouldn’t Thanos come too
@@Nanoonk the x-men + the new avengers would kick thanos' purple butt
Logan's bones are covered in a rare valuable metal, people search for his grave and dig it up. They find Logan's body surprisingly intact, he wakes up, kills them all and runs off to a remote corner of Canada. Being the loner that he is, he lives peacefully for years unnoticed.
except that Wolverine doesnt live peacefully for very long, he might get five years this time, dont get me wrong, maybe 8, but nothing more then that
they rip off the adamantium and he heals.
Seeing Double Altough, he turns feral. (It happened once, magneto removed his adamantium skeleton, but as time goes by he becomes much more powerful yet he is now a feral)
why would he kill anyone if he wants to die.
+Hurry Calls Probably because its the closes thing to death, though I don't think he kills internationally, only the rage that he builds up forces him to do such thinks.
If the producers know whats good for them ( and for business!) they wont attempt to reboot wolverine with another actor within ther next decade, or better , within jackmans lifetime, cause whoever is the unlucky schmock , who gets the "honor" to put on the claws, he will be BOMBARDED with fan-hatred and whatever script they put into it, is bound to suck.
Hugh Jackman had THAT BIG of an impact on both the character and the francise , in my opinion.
Not if the actor can pull it off. I would actually love to see Tom Hardy get the role of Wolverine. That guy knows how to act.
Tom Hardy was great in Mad Max, no question about that. But i doubt he could be the next Wolverine.
At least not for some time.
As i said, he would become the sole target of nuclear fan hatred, and i like him too much as an actor, to see him crash and burn like that ;)
Plus i think they should let the franchise rest a bit.
To speculate about the "next Wolverine" now, is a bit too soon in my own humble opinion.
Malefizia YESSS , THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ! 🙌🏾
Tom Hardy is doing DC still, I think.
***** Hopefully.
He s a great actor and the DC univers has tons of amazing options for him, i think.
i was so legit sad at the end of that movie. Hope Alpha Flight does something in movies.
Everything about logan movie is just freking insane and amazing . But i want him back and resurrected please make that happen.
I havent read manny comics but i have a theory... kinda. ( this will get spoilery so read at your own risk.)
At the end they shoot Logan's clone ( i guess that would be the right way to call him). What if that clone regenerates like Logan did in X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the end when he is shot in the head. He would have amnesia and he is near canada and its forest... Like Logan used to be all over again.
that is plausible
TOMIKE(SK) in the wolverine origin movie the bullet wound was small, and the bullet gotten out of wolverine's head fairly quickly. in logan, the clone's head was pretty much blown to bits with adamantium bullet... unlikely the clone will survive that
I think X-24 is dead for good, because just for 2 shotgun wounds, he needed the serum to heal quickly. He's still a clone who needs tweaks and improvements.
ProNoobGamerDude If he had wolverines healing factor in his prime yes he could. The brain doesn't start the healing process btw.
well you need the blood to flow at the very least. And the heart doesn't work without the brain.
The opening of the movie was a awesome fight with the Latinos trying to steal his tires and he is drunk as fuck 😂 When they were beating him up and then you hear that Wolverine Growl goosebumps where all over me! The action in that part was awesome! Limbs flying every where it was just so cool that we got a R rated Wolverine Movie..Finally
Spikey__Mikey I totally agree. Dumbasses should've ran after he got up after a blast from a shotgun. Should've ran when he popped his claws. Glad they died.
Spikey__Mikey The Hotel scene was my favorite Logan kills Everyone slowly and it shows.
Deric James Well he doesn't do it on purpose. Everyone was paralyzed by Charles, he had a tolerance for it. He stabbed them all in the head to quickly make the area safe for Charles when they went back to normal.
Awho Chen I know but that was my favorite scene from the entire film.
Could've just said Mexicans.
end of era....
still remember watching wolverine fighting in the in first movie
when I was a kid
now I am 24
god so emotional..
Sherlock I was 16 now I am 33 with three kids 🤣
Wow
I really never cried in movies. This was my first when Xavier died. This was my second when Logan died...

Logan reminds me of The Last of Us
Vernard Miguel it is the LAST OF US. Logan as "Joel" and the little girl as "Ellie".AMAZING!!!!
Mihir Jhaurry lora
nah I tell you whats more of last of us Maggie with Arnold Schwarzenegger
Mihir Jhaurry Laura*
Vernard Miguel yea
My dad and sister said they would prefer and ending where Logan pops out of the grave. I obviously don't agree with them.
Darwin Aguilero Tell them I disagree with them too. I'm with you Darwin.
My mom didn't like the movie just because Logan died
Darwin Aguilero your relatives are stupid as shit. that would obliterate the whole premise of it: logan wanted to finally die, and he died happy
Darwin Aguilero it was because Hugh Jackmans contract with marvel ended.
He felt it was time to say goodbye to the role. He is 48 yrs old. No way could he keep doing that role at his age.
"It wasn't me Charles" 😭
It would have been cool if Magneto came to wolverines grave and said "I just wanted the mutants to live" or something along those lines and then removed the metal from his body setting up the perfect ending in all of history
ZyKaos: Add Me Xbox all of the metal was already gone cuz it destroyed Logan's healing but only metal thing that stayed was the claws
Rhonda Cotton No. x-23(Laura) only has adamantiane claws. Logan still had his full adamantiane skeleton. His skeleton was poisoning him not his claws
ZyKaos: Add Me Xbox what if it just shows him , facing his hand sh towards shaking his hand and the ground starts to shake , giving that little hint
Actually in the comics magneto did take wolverines adamantion leaving him with bone claws.
Anthony Bihl 3 r
Am I the only one who gets The Last of Us vibes from this movie?
DUDE!!! I did too, especially when Logan woke up and said,"Where's Laura?" I just thought of Joel asking "queen firefly" where Ellie is.
Except Joel didn't die in the end....
Cem Soylemez omg I was thinking the same thing a video game for this would be epic
Cem Soylemez Holy fuck are you serious with this "am I the only one..." bullshit? People have been comparing the film with TLoU ever since the first trailer came out. Fuck off
Omg sameeee
Just watched it. And it is Nothing Short of a Masterpiece. The bar for the rest of 2017 is set Astronomically High. I started tearing up right in the beginning, maybe it's because I have a soft spot for elderly people but just seeing both Logan and Charles like that was absolutely heart breaking. I laughed and I Cried and I Cried some more. And man, I hate the young Wolverine now, he was a dick in this movie.
Salman Khan young wolverine didn't really even have a mind. He was just programmed to do what he was doing. Be vicious and kill.
Yea I know, but I still think he was a dick. And the dude that created him was a dick too.
Agreed, to see someone like Charles talking weird shit, talking about Taco Bell, people thought it was funny but I thought it was so sad that the most powerful man in the world was losing it
Some people thought that was funny? Those people have issues. The only part I found funny about him was the "LOGAN! I have to Pee" Because that was actually a joke. But other than that, yea it was sad to see his mind crumble away.
Salman Khan what movies are teaching me nowadays:dont mess with the elderly lol
I hope they do an X23 movie like Kill Bill
Just employ Quentin Tarantino. It's gonna be bloody tho....
Creatip and feet on the screen
Love how everyone is coming up with their theories and thoughts. It proves that the character of Wolverine and this movie made an impact on their lives which will last for years.
RIP
Canada Powerful Mutant = Deadpool???
Sarcasm my man John, sarcasm.
Danish Khan nope.
maybe..
hell yes beeotch!
Coming soon: Nathan Summers!
Danish Khan deadpool wouldn't help them he's a anti hero and does stuff for money not for the greater good
yup remember deadpool movie.. that ukranian mutant try to convine him to join in x team... but he refused to join in..
tenzin tsenpey You mean Colossus? He's Russian not Ukrainian.
"Wow, coo-coo-cachoo got screwed."
I know what was really behind the border: CANADA POWERFUL MUTANT= Deadpool
Since adamantium is stronger and lighter than stainless steel and titanium alloy, both which have a very low deterioration rate and are ideal food grade metals. Adamantium would theoretically take at minimum hundreds of years before it started to break down, probably thousands of years.
Marijuana Saves Lives well the medicine he took broke it down
I don't understand your point.
Logan could theoretically resurrect himself if his skeleton broke down
but that'd be a mess
Adamantium is also an alien substance tho so..
yeah, but it is as good as unobtanium
did anyone else find it amusing during the final act when Logan told Laura that she would know when, and he proceeds to confront Dr. Xander, zander begins his monologue and is abruptly blasted in the throat and Laura immediately knew to take action. I thought there was going to be some signal or something lol
Eric S No more bullshit monologues.
There's something just telling me he's coming back my Gut never let's me down
but so sad im gonna miss logan because he died :(
I dont want to be a spoiler but.. the enemy pierced his chess with a big sharp wood and because he is old he cannot resist the pain anymore so he died.
OnlyFredHere
He basically got older and can't heal quickly anymore. So he was taking too much damage from gun shots and fighting.
He still would be able to resist the pain they just wanted to kill him off lol. Then it leaves room for cyber logan in the desert in year 3000 wasteland
Just saw the movie won't lie I almost cryied a few times watching it it's that good and deep best movie of the year gonna miss Hugh jackman as wolverine
Ice cold Newz suxs man lol. Same here. Im a big fan of Wolverine. Saddest part was when the little girl turned the cross Marking the X. The last X-men.
It hit me hard when she said daddy
Just wondering if the movie had ended with "There ain't no grave can hold my body down...." in the backdrop.
Would have been epic, I suppose..
But overall just an awesome closure to Hugh Jackman's iconic Wolverine..
"When the man comes around" was pretty awesome though ! A lot less hopeful for sure...
If it was "Hurt" I probably would've bawled my eyes out
Huge Jackman is a triple threat. So extremely talented. He sings dances and plays a mean rolllll. It will be tough to find a replacement for such an amazing talent. The one who take the torch will be under tremendous scrutiny and pressure.
"ending explained" what is there to explain, he died, end of it. if you meant metaphors and shit, thats not really the ending explained but a few quotes and meanings.
Or how about the fact that in an earlier movie his death was foreseen as "You will die holding your own heart in your hand." And he did. His heart was his daughter.
He doesn't die tho. Well if it really follows old man logan later on he actually get's revived into a cyborg half man half machine. The comic is not titled old man logan tho.
you're holding your own heart in your hand. It's not beating.”
I thought throughout the movie Laura and x-24 were symbolic of the two different sides of wolverine. Laura symbolizing the goodness of Logan, while x-24 symbolized Logan's savagery. So when at the end of the movie, Laura kills x-24 showing that Logan's true humanity wins over that savage aspect of himself. Showing he was a force of good in the world.
One thing that's annoying.
Xavier, not Xxavier. There is no extra X.
Indeed.
some pronounce it savier, some pronounce it ecksavier
both are correct btw
I see..
just like xylophone and ecksxylophone.
Thanks.
ozej it's a fucking name, they even say it like that in the movies, you're not a fucking linguist
when laura changes tat cross to x and the music blended it's so emotional
My favorite moment was when he was looking at Lara and said something to the effect of "So that's what that feels like." Meaning family love. Plus, I loved the billions of Xs throughout the film. From blood swipes to scars. to structures.
I really hope he comes back. I had the feeling the stuff in the corn syrup was hurting him.
I thought he meant that that was what dying felt like at that point tho
But what was the westchester thing Xavier was referring???
Toten Brunk Xavier had one of his seizers and killed basically all the xmen and like 400 people. He's just so medicated he doesn't remember
Professor X had a seizure and killed all of the X-men except for Logan
+Josh Myers it's so damn sad
Toten Brunk i mental balls died tho
he had a seizure and kill a lot of the xmen. Modern science really killed the left overs . As mentioned by the doctor . His company used corn syrup which was genetically engineered to suppress the mutant gene . In doing so they essentially became humans ,I'm pretty sure Logan survived do to his healing capabilities however my guess is the adamantiam started to poison his cells and what not .
Why are not more mutants??
What terrible thing did Charles in the past???
the Transigen Project Created a Virus
WILLIAMSAMA2 they're all dead. If you want answers you'll have to read the comics. They don't focus on telling you what's happened they just focus on the story that's happening.
they say in the movie that the goverment put something in the food to prevent the mutaation in the newborn babys
the transigen created an "antidote" to the X-gene which prevented mutant children from being born, they spread the antidote to the masses by inserting it into their fake food and drinks products which is why no new mutant was born for over 20 years.
charles had develop a condition which causes him to go into a seizure at random. everytime he had the seizure, he would unleash an uncontrollable psychic shock over a wide radius that can paralyze and even kill everyone in it. The 1st time he had the seizure, he accidentally killed all of the X-men except logan and hundreds of other nearby civilians.
awie je your statement does make sense omg thanks hahaha
Whew this video made me feel so much better. I'm not really the biggest fan of the X-men except for a few key characters like Wolverine and I just finished Logan and I felt like my childhood died in two hours. But I knew they had to revive him or something( hopefully). And hearing that Hugh Jackman was done as Wolverine killed me. But after watching this video I feel so much better thank you.
I knew he was going to die but hm when laura said 'daddy' at the end 😭😭 that made me lose it 😔
I believe wolverine is going to come back, but not Logan, if you remember at the end of xmen origins logan get shot in the head with an adimantium bullet not killing him but wiping his memory because his brain comes back but his memory can't, and if you remember at the end of Logan the artificial fake young Logan gets shot in the head with an adimantium bullet and he will heal but he also won't have any of his memories
MBA PLAYA who got shot with a shotgun? I'm pretty sure both were shot by revolvers.
Yea but she blew off half his head and his whole brain out with a revolver I do not think it is going to grow back lol
No, the bullet did kill him. He came back to life.
xxx xxx my point still stands
GorcStew IT will tho
Couldn't they have taken a airplane?
Are you serious
Miguel Aglipay i did think that a one point
Would be fucking dumb
They would just shoot the damn thing down
Boom everyone is dead
Some Guy Number 367 it was a joke because Logan doesn't like flying.
Timothy Mckee he could get a pat down like he did at the end of the wolverine....
I was 6 years old when I first saw Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Now 19, wow not only does time fly away but one of Patrick Stewart's greatest speech is in the end of Star Trek Generations, NOT Next Generation, just "Generations". When his memorable ship crashed the first officer was sad and depressed, so Patrick questioned; " What is time ? A life form -a God - a demension unknown ?" He said "time is not your enemy that wants to stalk you and hurt you like it did to the first officer because he'll never be Capitan of that ship", he continued by saying "it's a friend that reminds you to cherish every single minute of the moment, because it will never come back, it just passes by and never ever stops. Just sobbed at that line in my head and this movie together because it is like crazy that this is it for Hugh as playing wolverine. MAYBE he will still play him he might heal and rise up, but I doubt it.
"So, This is what it feels like"
Actually, Fox only has the rights to X-men and the term mutants. There's a lot of characters that are associated with the X-men that Marvel has their hands on.
Since I was a kid I always wanted to be like "wolverine".... Got many of those T shirts, played wolverine game many times, than anyone else😍😘(i think)...Miss u man.😐.. but if u come back I will be the first guy to cheer.... 😃😊😇🤗
I always wanted to see a Alpha Flight movie. That should be next.
after 5 years... he's actually backkkk! so thrilled by the news!!!
You know everyone is talking about Logan's and Xavier's death. But what about that family at the farm. Went out basically the same as the older couple at the farm from one of the old wolverine movies where logan bursts out the barn on the motorcycle. But then again, retrospect, its completely their fault for being so trusting in an evil world, don't invite strangers into your home like that.
I honestly loved how they made Charles the one who killed the xmen instead of wolverine. it still would've been crazy to see Logan single handedly take down the xmen lol
What was sad about the end is that Logan died in sight of his homeland but was buried right across the border from it
I think since there is no post credit scene that means there is no sequel to Logan. That's the end for the X-Men story and they won't continue in any other movie, that's just a guess though
Rahim Ikram Let’s say jackman decides to return out of the blue how the hell will wolverine even continue? What I’m basically trying to say is he can barely heal anymore and Is continuing to die as time passes his powers don’t really work anymore plus he’s lost his step so how wld he even fit in anymore and what the hell wld a potential next film be regarding Wolverine oh ya everyone in the X-men is dead anyways that I no of anyways soooooo ya...leave your guyses ideas in the reply section
If another actor plays Wolverine, he will have to be as good or better than Hugh in order to not get shit on.
Good luck with that one.
I don't think you can get a better actor for wolverine
Only Tom Hardy could pull it off
not any person only hugh
]
Just got back from seeing this. Excellent movie.
Roboclops trashy movie
stfu
gold bandit lol knew I would trigger a marvel fan 😂😂😂😂
Catch me outside How bout that I would like to hear a reason why
smudge1130 it was a joke haha
What needs to be explained? He died. We cried.
Can someone explain to me what Charles did in Wenchester ? I mean I get that alot of pepole dided ... But is there anything to that ?
sizer772 the prevailing theory is that Professor X, at his advanced age, had a seizure that sent out a wave of crippling psychic energy, sort of like Cerebro level, but without Cerebro. This destroyed the minds of Jean, Scott, Storm, Piotr, Bobby, Kitty, Rogue and the rest of the X-Men. basically, Professor X killed alot of people by accident.
In the comics, the deaths of the the X-Men came at Logan's claws, as he was mind controlled by Mysterio, a master of special effects from Spider-Man's Rogue Gallery, however, since Sony owns those rights, they had to adapt the 'Old Man Logan' story line.
Mysterio made an ilusion for Logan that the X-Mansion was under attack and he basically killed everyone thinking he's fighting raiders. In "Logan" they turned that to Xaviers fault like "Adrian Kruger" said.
May be spoilers..
I wanted to ask why adamantinium bullet can kill logan but the claws cant? ITs the same material and some of the claws cut seemed pretty deadly.
Lukáš Houdek because a bullet is different from the claws it only hurts him but a bullet goes through your skin and blowup
Lukáš Houdek Well it's easier to live and heal from a stab wound (in this case three at the same time) than to survive a gaping bullet wound. Logan knew how to make the perfect bullet to kill himself and Laura used it on X-24.
except in wolverine origins Logan takes an adamantiniam bullet o the face and all it does is confuse him when he heals. I found that to be a deep flaw in that scene.
Travis Callahan dude the calibar on the one that hugh gets hit with is .9 and what laura uses is definitely a higher caliber. may be .45 so i guess that explains?
.9 is larger than .45
Logan died let that sink in for a minute no more Hugh jackman. 😳
there will be more lol he will resurrect himself i think
Its__ JohnMark it litteraly said in the movie that he had almost completely lost his healing factor and the adamantium was poisoning him so no, logan wont be back alive in a continuation of this film. he coulf be back in a movie that is put much earlier in the timeline but then there is still the problem that hugh jackman said he would only return to the character if there is a deal with marvel to create avengers vs x-men
oh
an Alpha flight movie would be too bad ass
So where did the mountains and pine trees at the end of the movie when they are in North Daktoa come from? I live in North Dakota and we don't have that anywhere let alone on the canadian boarder.
