About "Logan"

Seeing Hugh Jackman expressing his own personality makes it clear what a great actor he is. He's so different from Logan, it's hard to believe this is the same person, in spite of any "similarity" in appearance. Fantastic!

I overall liked the movie, but one of the main problems was that X-23 was over CGIed if that makes sense. Like they tried to to this crazy young mexican wolverine girl, but i thought they over did it.

It's Hugh to Wolverine, Downey Jr. to Iron-Man and Ryan Reynolds to Deadpool. I wouldn't replace these actors with any other to play such iconic characters. At least a crossover movie with these characters would be great before either of these actors left.

I couldn't agree more! They are just absolutely irreplaceable and really "make" the characters' movie personas as lovable as they are. I can't imagine ever seeing anyone else play the roles. If a time came where all of them retired from the roles (an incredibly sad day it would be) and a reboot with new actors was in the works...I don't think I'd be able to watch it...seriously lol. And yes, a crossover would be AMAZING.
I'd also like to add Chris Evans as Captain America to the end of that list!
I would be glad to see a Laura movie. That kid really did her part and will be a great person to pass the torch to as the wolverine. Or who knows... Maybe something even better.

Yes, she did an awesome job! I'd love to see her in the role again in a Laura movie as well. Though, it would HAVE to be done by the same director, writers, and all that. The memory of Wolverine can live on through her for the next generation!

The T-10 The Dark Knight got some love from the Academy and Heath Ledger won best supporting actor so there's some hope. Logan is almost on par with The Dark Knight and better than all the MCU movies and I love most of them
Zenevi Romawii Well, as far as I'm concerned, TDK (and the other 2 movies in TDK trilogy) was more of a crime-action drama than a CBM, and I guess that's why the academy loved it.

The T-10 Logan is more real and grounded than other superhero movies. We've had some good comic book movies in recent years but Logan is a great movie which just happens to have comic book characters. Hopefully the Academy shows some love but its really early to predict anything since its only March. The upcoming superhero movies this year could be better or as good as Logan. If they are, then this year would be the best year for comic book movies.
If Hugh Jackman isn't nominated for an Oscar for Logan, there is NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD!

Yeah, I feel that this is a perfect ending and farewell. Fox trying the extend this X-Men storyline with anything but a movie for Laura and the next gen. when she gets older (made ONLY by the same creators) would be a disgrace to this movie's greatness and the characters in it, in my opinion. For me, especially looking at their inconsistent track record, I don't really won't Fox to touch anything else X-Men after this but a well made movie for Laura, and continuing Deadpool (which is kind of in it's own world anyway).
I would've loved to see him in the MCU too, even Hugh himself did, but (as he also knew) it wouldn't have been able to happen anyway...

Just watched it. And it is Nothing Short of a Masterpiece. The bar for the rest of 2017 is set Astronomically High. I started tearing up right at the beginning, maybe it's because I have a soft spot for elderly people but just seeing both Logan and Charles like that was absolutely heartbreaking. I laughed and I Cried and I Cried some more. And man, I hate the young Wolverine now, he was a dick in this movie. But it is very poetic that the thing Logan feared the most is what killed him. He feared himself and the monster he didn't want to become. And in the end, he got the chance to become a leader for a brief moment. Which is exactly why Prof X chose him. He saw Logan as a leader. But somewhere along the way, he lost that purpose. This movie is absolute Perfection beginning to end.
