“We can partake in a drivebye shooting”
Oh Oxhorn, please never change.
Oxhorn in the hood: Excuse me Lemar, but maybe if you fixed your yee-yee keister haircut you might get some ladies in your mirelurk den. Gentlemaaaan.
Oxhorn: "Perhaps after our drive-by we can procure some alcoholic beverages and visit some ladies of questionable repute..... 🤣😂
@@nickp1370 Oxhorn: "Excuse me gourmand, I'd like to place an order for your finest pair of Number 9s, a large Number 9, a Number 6 with an extra cigar, two Number 45s, to which one has cheese, and a large Whiskey."
This is an amazing thread.

*Cuts to show a hooker with a big butt bend over in the private room of a steampunk themed sex dungeon.*

Please make "We partake in a Drive by Shooting" a T-shirt
With Mother the Deathclaw driving!
@@UntouchedWagons Plz make this happen Oxhorn!!!
We do a little trolling
We partake in a little drive-by shooting
We need more shirts. I want to build a shirt fort out of each different shirts. I got from Murch shops all across CZcams.
"What is she doing with an AK-47?!"
"Stay strapped or get clapped" applies to the post-apocalyptic future too, last I checked.
Amen!
You know you're hardcore when you're trying to kill a Buggy with a Switchblade over and over...
But all in all, proud of Oxhorn here. He's learning things like... not using weapons that will shoot the back of his teammates as he runs in a ball. To space out his team so burst fire and explosions don't hit everyone. He's getting more Tactical.
And that's just classic Fallout Tactics that I remember. Use the vehicles. Become unto rolling death. Good to see him adopting that as well.
@@hitomisalazar4073 " Become unto rolling death " Which is what I sometimes do when I'm playing the 2015 Mad Max game.
Eyyyy I see you on MATN's comment section all the time
Random switchblade story time:
My Dad used to work in the Caribbean with the police out there. The only arrest he ever had to make was a woman attacking a car with a switchblade 😂
Krldraav does NOT have over 900 hit points, those are character points… he has 151 HP
A tip - you can use the Perk "Mutate" to get rid of Glowing One perk on Dillon
“Harold never needed charisma!...that’s what Bob’s for...”
Oh Oxhorn...never stop being you.
As someone who lives in central Illinois, I can verify that THAT is what Springfield looks like
It could be the Simpson's version lol
@@joshbunton6424 Fallout Tactics takes place in and around Chicago (and Illinois in general). Based on the location in the map, it is definitely Springfield, the state capitol of Illinois.
@@loveblanket6512 * Aiden Pearce intensifies *
I’m from Illinois too Let’s gooo
Greetings from Herrin.
It's time for everyone's favourite game, take a shot every time Ox says "and ammunition" and try not to die of alcohol poisoning by the end of the video.
We can fix that with some alc-x and alkaway 😎
@@39zack I'm dead... lol If only Alkaway was real.... I'd be set! 😂🤣
@@nickp1370 🤣🤣
Side note: I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but I think the tire fire is a reference to the Springfield Tire Fire that shows up on occasion in the show :)
The shop keeper is a reference to Apu from the Kwik 'E Mart. A foreign person with an accent. ;)
@@jbiehlable When did I say Apu wasn't Indian? I was writing that Presnell is a foreign person with an accent. So it would be easy for people to see the connection between the two characters. I think you need to improve your reading comprehension my friend. :)
@@mr.sleepy4534 *Fixed. my bad.

"They're all sadists!"
Well... believable in post apocalypse scenario.
Oxhorn, if I remember correctly, npc’s have a limited amount of ammo for their guns. If they run out, they will charge and use melee/unarmed weapons. So it’s better to try to kill enemies ASAP to maximize ammo loot.
This video seemed to be a bit more jovial than usual. It was nice to see you having fun with it! Thanks for the vid.
Wait, this means that Harold traveled to Illinois and then went back to California because fallout tactics take place before the events of fallout 2
@@loveblanket6512 I need to stop overthinking simple Easter eggs
Exactly what i thought when i heard his name. But then again Fallout tactics is pretty loose with the lore as Loveblanket said.
He actually went to Texas as well between 1 and 2. Harold seems to have travelled around quite a bit, and if you take Van Buren's plot as canonical, he went to Colorado (where hes from) too before making his way to the east coast.
@@BurningFyre isn’t fallout brotherhood of steel non cannon
@@cerealboar3521 maybe? I dont know anymore. Canon is overrated, Harold is a cool mutant guy
Finally. I was waiting for this all week.
I know i wish there was 2 a week but i get hes gotta keep us watching and coming back lol
Same
I can't wait till he does the St. Louis mission next week, it has super mutants and some really powerful big guns with armor piercing ammo
Same
In my case, one of the reasons I got hooked on this channel was because of the Fallout videos. In fact, I don't own any of them besides this one and the one on my phone. But his storytelling abilities made me watch most of the videos and I've got a greater understanding of this universe. Of course, I understand that mostly focusing on a single series might eventually come as an obligation, rather than pleasure. But the quality of the videos are unique, to the point of convincing me that despite all the criticism, Fallout 76 is a good game with a rich story and is something that not everybody is able to pull off. I guess Ox has "hidden perks" XD
Fans were overly harsh on Tactics. It had a few plot missteps but it was a damn fun game with some interesting mechanics. It sucks we never got the Louisiana based sequel.
Absolutely! I love seeing new environments in post-war Earth. Louisiana would have made a great, fresh, new setting
Louisiana would have been badass...although I think Cajun Ghouls and Super Mutants would be very hard to understand...what would be even more funny is if it was just swamp people who were so fucked up by incest before that they didn't even notice that radiation has messed them up.
OMG 25:55 Was too good and pertinent regarding the timing LOL!!
The pause after "kidnap an elected official"
I love it
Lol the subtle throat adjustment.
I’m cracking up rn
the hatred of ghouls might be an obscure reference to when the Simpson's tree house of horror did a bit about nuclear apocalypse in Springfield which ended with marge and the kids pulling shotguns on a group of ghouls that have been chasing homer for a good part of the bit. the donut with the ring is also a reference to planet hype. 48:00 "Smithers release the hounds" 55:15 burning tires are a reference to the Springfield tire fire.
“Homey! We’re in Fallout Tactics!”
And now, I shall provide my pitch for a Fallout Tactics game.
1. It's set in the southern United States.
2. The player faction is a Vault, a Vault descended from a US army division.
3. The main focus of the game would be for these Vault dwellers to build a new nation. While looking for their founder, a disgruntled and disillusioned army general left.
4. The game would take place from 2100 to 2300.
5. It would play more akin to the Firaxis X-Com games than this game, but... well who doesn't like the Firaxis X-Com games?
6. The Vault itself would be built up over the course of the game, allowing research and production facilities, allowing the Vault's armies to create their own weapons and armor. Among other equipment.
Any thoughts on this concept?
I absolutely love the quality over quantity approach he has with fallout. Takes his time with them, but the replay value is off the charts imo.
Fallout tactics takes place in 2194. As long as he heads back to California in time for fallout 2 well call this the real Harold
THIS is the bespoke, quality Fallout content I subscribed for.
remember one thing...
don't feed the deathclaws child of the Martiach after midnight
In regards to the guy who was taking potshots at the buggy? You would've found some ammunition, _if_ you had decided to kill him before he _ran out_ of ammunition. (Yes, _Fallout Tactics_ tracks the ammunition for _every character,_ including all the enemies.)
That one ghoul maybe named Harold, but he ain't no Bob!! *hack cough cough haaaack smiles*
3:40
english auto subtitles:
death claw recruits first up is curled rav he is level nine fast and strong *girl draft* pronounced *GIRL DRAFT*
Ive been watching since fallout 3. Its very awesome that your doing Tatics, as it adds new lore. It may not draw in the views, but I at least appreciate the work you put in. Seeing Harold again is freaking cool.
the burning tires is also a Simpsons reference as well OX
I think you can get the perk mutate on dillion if you level him up and then switch glowing one for something else.
I used to replay this game few times looking for the buggy. I always thought I had missed it on earlier missions or its found on special encounter. I remember reading something about bazaar, I thought it was special encounter. Back then I didn't have reliable internet connection and had to get by on tips from gaming magazines.
Deathclaws now know how to drive and climb ladders. We never stood a chance.
Alright, the imagine of a death claw entering a church on her tiptoes, gingerly opening the collection box and taking the contents before leaving again is way too funny.
A mother got to feed her young'ns some how XD
To be fair, they knew how to climb ladders in Fallout 2
@@MrSniperfox29 I'm glad they don't in Fallout 3 and 4...that would be terrifying.
Also, Ox, if you haven't recorded too far ahead, the driver of a vehicle can fire small guns, they just need the one hand on the wheel.
I like how everyone is a sadist, and Oxhorn is a little annoyed.
Wait a minute Fallout Tactics takes place before Fallout 2, meaning Harold would have to travel there after Fallout 1 and then return to California.
I thought that they set out before Fallout 2 but it took place around the same time.
52:00 One reason why buggy was effective weapon is that enemies try to dodge it (yes, you can drive over people). Great way of flushing enemies out of cover!
ahh yes Dillon and Billy Bob 2 best snipers in the entire game if you want to get rid of the Glowing one perk just lvl up that ghoul until you can choose perk then choose "mutation" and replace it with something else . Also keep Mother with you in late game her throwing skill can be extremely usefull cuz later you can have hundreds of frag grenades.
Ox, while reading through the potential recruits in the pool : "Who hired this crew? This is undoubtedly the seediest bunch of cutthroats, villains and scoundrels I have ever seen, so who hired them?!"
25:00 Weird that it would be called the rust belt given we PROBABLY weren't outsourcing to china in the Fallout timeline.
Fun fact, the Springfield in Simpsons isn't actually the well-known one in Illinois, but a small Massachusetts town. Also made up
I love how it's "I had to try many attempts" at about 55mins and none involve healing your squad as you fight :D
He said he forgot to bring any Doctor-related items with him.
Quick correction: Krrldraav had 151 HP and over 900 character "Points" which I think are for multiplayer. In FO Tactics multiplayer, the more powerful and well-armed your character is, the more "points" they are worth, and this is intended to allow for the host to balance a deathmatch session by limiting how many points a player's squad has. No idea if those points have any effect in the single-player, it doesn't look that way.
(5:00) Yeah, and Mother has Brutish Hulk Perk as well and sits at 174HP with her Endurance being 12 (Kaldrrav's Endurance was only 4)... 1070 points by the Mother's character Portrait.
Maybe the DeathClaws can take Life Giver(2) Perk to get even more HP to be more tanky later on ..? Not sure if they meet minimum requirements (Level, Certain Base Stats, Certain Skill %) for all these Perks but would be super cool to see a DeathClaw with: Slayer, Bonus H+H Damage, Bonus H+H Attacks, Sneak, Silent Running, Silent Death, Death Sense, Hide of Scars.
And I'm not sure if the Razor Claws Gloves actually count as Melee Weapons or not, may be regular Unarmed "Empty Claw" attack is better with the high Unarmed Skill (doesn't have Melee Skill Tagged or high)... Might have to test/experiment hitting the same target with/with out and compare numbers
Also Mother has a lot of APs from high Agility, should try targeted Gore Attacks (for the Head, Groin or Eyes) on a full HP opponnent... could knock them out and swith to regular attack to finish easy prey.
25:57 hmmmmmmmmm
I want fallout 5 to come out so I can binge watch 200 hours more of your commentary
Poor Harold honestly. Doomed to become a tree and a Prophet to some Tree-Worshipping Cult, and most likely dies either by being burned alive, his heart being crushed, or forced to grow entire forests in the Capital Wasteland.
May he rest in peace.
Bethesda: "Fallout should be realistic, isn't fighting Deathclaws fun?"
Micro Forté: "Yo, lets make the big lizards talk and drive buggies."
There are talking deathclaws in fallout, so really they are only adding the driving to there skill set.
It's also called the 'Rust Belt' because of the harsh winters; we tend to use a lot of salt on the roads to deal with the ice. Think Northern Minnesota, it's snow/ice for nearly half the year.
The burning tires are also a Simpson reference, the Springfield tire fire.
Yea! Sunday Funday with Oxhorn.
Super appreciate your videos man. I have played all fallouts and your lore vids make them much more enjoyable. Thank you!
You just be chilling in church and a Deathclaw walks in. Lol
The long pause you took after your comment at 25:57 🤣 I appreciated that. I’m just sorry I’m so behind on watching this series.
I see Ox started using target shots with a few squad members. Looks like the chest was the target of Dillon's shots (going by the action log in the lower left). A few foes ended up winded from those.
[Mr. Burns' voice] Excellent.
Hey Ox, a few of your squad mates might be good at making frequent eye shots. Ever tried those yet?
33:46 I love the way she says "Ghoooooul Blood."
The burning tires are a reference to the tire fire in Springfield.
I'm glad you're finally doing this I wish I was good enough at rts game to complete this
I love this game, I cant believe I missed your play through of this. I'm going back to part 1 and binging it right now.
For Deathclaws, I find that it's best to either have them unarmed (their attacks knock enemies down, stun locking them most of the time - I find this better), or use grenades, if applicable.
Dillon is an unparalleled sniper, and it's worth putting up with his _Glowing One_ trait.
(1) The ghoul sniper has 'glow' sights.
(2) Imagine being the deputy sheriff of Primm, held hostage by gangers. A deathclaw 'sneaks' in, holds a claw to its lips and hisses 'Shhhh,' then winks.
“Good ole rock, nothing beats you!” -Bart, and half the crowd at the Mayor’s speech
THE MAYOR HAS PERISHED! Gunny always cracks me up. 1:01:57
up until now I wasn't really too sure about ever playing this game myself as watching you has been entertaining enough. now though I am gunna get myself a copy of this somehow and make myself a squad of deathclaws
if you bought 76 on the bethesda launcher you should own tactics
The ultimate weapon of mass destruction: Oxhorn behind the wheel.
I look forward to all his fallout videos hes the best way to learn the lore and enjoy game play ive found
I made to to episode 8 before I fell to reinstalling Tactics. Great series, Ox. Thank you.
25:56 LONG PAUSE AND LOOKS AT CAMERA
I’m so happy I was waiting for this
I love this game its one of my favorite Fallout games behind New Vegas.
I hope they make a newer version of this with either a continuing story or a new one with the Washington Brotherhood or somewhere like Florida would be cool.
Ak47, switchblade, and ammunition.
Hey Oxhorn so I was playing fallout 4 and I found out you can actually buy Captain cosmos boxes so you can technically get infinite boxes and infinite items
I didn't get to play this mission back in the day, the mayors speech had me rolling lmao
37:17 The NPCs saying, "Hi. I'm Shanna!" cannot possibly reference the character from The Simpsons, Shauna Chalmers, as that character first appeared in The Simpsons 8 years after this game was released. I wouldn't normally point out stuff like this, but I had never heard of such a character, and I watched The Simpsons religiously throughout the late 90's/early 2000's.
I posted this a couple times of a couple of these videos but I absolutely have to say it again over that last fight that last fight took me approximately 30 minutes against that guy and I never lost the mayor once because I was using turn-based
1:01:38 That is a reference to Scoobydoo.
There are some fights in tactics where just putting the party into aggressive isn't enough. The final battle here is a prime example and when Turn-based combat should be used. Focus fire on the leader to take him out first and move your men into a better position, then go back to aggressive free-fire mode to finish the job. On the later missions you're going to find it more and more difficult to run and gun.
Meanwhile in Valkyria Chronicles: Tank go vroom!
I am looking for Amanda
Who?
Amanda...AmandaHugnkiss
Yeah hold on.
Im lookin for a AmandaHugnkiss, anyone seen Amandahugnkiss, HEY anyone know where I can find A Man DA Hug n Kiss?!
HA HA HA
El Barto strikes again!
Makes me wanna come back and play this game again... oh boi... thx man
Maybe Mother/Matriarch molted her skin between her release and her arrival at the bunker!
Loving this content. Greetings from Australia.
Really nice, that they added so much Simpsons references.
When i played this the first time back in like 2009 I thought of the Simpsons
The amount of Racial tension jokes in this episode from the Mayor... 10/10. Totally describes America
♥️HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY OX♥️LUV ALL YA DO❣
I love this game, i'm looking forward for each video
anyone else noticed he missed one floor on that factory building?
46:16
Was that a Star Wars blaster sound effect for the booby trap, or am I just crazy?
Thats what i thought! We can't both be wrong right?
No you are right, it sounds just like it...but that doesn't mean u are not crazy though. you are still not off the hook.😈
Shana can't be a reference to the Simpsons. You see this game was released in 2001, and Shana only appeared in "Beware My Cheating Bart" which was released in April 2012, so 11 years after this game.
Could be the tornado belt?, after all a great storm took the early airships, the rad storms in the region could act as a physical barrier/ crazy non enemy danger in the wasteland in a future title.
22:35 oxhorn the hackerman xD
30:35
we are all shannon
The GOG Version comes with an extra download for Springfield, I guess the bonus disc.
I only have the steam version so I gotta hack in springfield myself I guess? (And I don't think the version of the exe that fixes Sniper works for steam either.
I hope the next fallout has some sort of brotherhood of steel but they are mostly ghouls, with ghoulified power armor I
that would be badass
I think one of the reasons these characters are all psychos is because, well, surviving in the Fallout universe requires you to be crazy enough to take on anyone or valuable enough to be protected by someone powerful. And most recruits don't really fit into Category B.....
"I publish Fallout videos each and every week" is at last again true...Please keep em coming!
As someone who live in the "rust belt" we call it that because the winter weather causes the use of salt on the roads and it rusts out the cars.
Wow, the guy even says Quimby-esque quotes XD
this series makes me wanna pick up where I gave up trying to do a iron man playthrough on hardest difficulty, after like 1000 tries and zero successes I'm starting to doubt whether I'm ever gonna pull it off lol
Lol you for got the gremlins reference at the end
