I can also highly recommend having "Just Married" written across the back windshield of your car. For our honeymoon, we went on a two-week road trip, and the celebratory kindness of random strangers everywhere we went was just an absolute joy. :) It's a really nice feeling knowing that your happiness makes other people happy enough that they want to stop and share it with you.
55:00 Soren and I have been Facebook friends for years and he was actually in my memories today because I had tagged him in a screenshot of Facebook suggesting a picture of him as my profile picture.
I was thinking about that first elevator question as it was introduced and was wondering “gee, what skills do I have…not many…..I guess I can do all the Presidents forward and backward.” and then minutes into the discussion Daniel comes in with naming all the Presidents and doing it randomly. Now I feel like I have one less skill.
Idk, I think between 5 strangers in a random pool you've got a solid shot with that
"What'd I Say" is either the song Soren wanted to mention by Ray Charles or another song where he improvised the song on the night. It's a much better song, though more complicated a name than, "Mess Around". Another exquisite episode!

So happy that I’ve discovered this podcast! It scratches the itch that is my eternal desire for more “AFTER HOURS” which I now know would crush your souls if you were ever forced to do again lol
I was playing some movie trivia game with my in-laws. I don't remember the question, but I knew the answer was the movie Bubba Ho-Tep. They were mildly impressed, but I wanted to explain how obscure that movie was, and how nobody should know the answer to it.
But that was B movie gold, Bruce Campbell with some evil dead vibes mixed in to the whole ancient Egyptian mummy.
Daniel just dropping "fian-shay" in there to no reaction and then the conversation goes to dropping puns that people don't pick up on is my favorite moment of this podcast so far.
Also where's the birthday present?
I worked at a cafeteria (Brower Commons baby!). Bad at almost everything. My managers tolerated me for convo and innovative ways for sneaking food. I was great at moppin tho. Top 10 percent for sure.
I once referred to a brand of coffee as “some Joe Don Baker type coffee” and only one other person understood what I was saying at the time and now I feel somebody else finally would understand that description of coffee.
I'm almost a decade younger than Daniel and Bronson was my first thought too

Coming up on 10 years of marriage this year. I proposed in september and we got married in december, so it was a whirlwind but only lasted a little bit then we were done and married.
One of the stores near me has "new & expecting mother" spaces, and I always wonder how long someone counts as a "new mother". My daughter is 1, but I still feel new

The thing I do better than anyone is Dr. Mario, N64 version. I will absolutely destroy anyone; my friends all eventually refused to play me. But I have no doubt I've still got the skills! Not exactly elevator friendly though.....
