    Vegetables and fruits are low in calories and it takes a lot to overeat those and get fat from it.
    Hardly any people are obese because they eat too many apples, strawberries or carrots.
    I love meat, half of my plate is always meat but veggies and fruits help with achieving a calorie deficit. Helps to keep me satiated for a longer period of time because they've got fiber in 'em and it takes longer to digest that fiber, expends some energy to do that digestive work too.
    Which means losing more weight and getting leaner.
    Coach Greg talks about this all the time.
    But meat is good and meat is important, there's no question about that.
    I've started to eat from all food groups and lost weight, almost got a sixpack coming for the summer months right now and that's from getting the veggies, berries and fruits into the picture.
