If you can hear water hissing through the solenoid does that mean you didn’t turn it off all the way? I checked my sprinklers this morning and ran into that problem
Make sure you know how to turn off the main water supply before yall try this at home folks!!!!
Am gonna attempt to use your video to fix my system. The plumbing company that installed mine has the next opening a month out and am tired of wasting water and money. Good setup for you. Mine are in a small hole deep in the ground!
Wish I'd watched before I hired a lawn service replace mine, have not got the bill yet . I'll feel the pain then......🤕
What happens when all my values and electronics are covered in water
Should I try this method if my sprinklers won’t shut off only by main valve?
Had a zone staying on. I wish my valves we set up like this mine are under a lid in the ground. I opened the lid and the whole thing was filled with dirt. I cleared alot of dirt out and water was coming out of a few of the valves it seemed like. im guessing debris but not entirely sure. House is12 yrs old so the system has to be around that old to i would think.
I always hit it with a wet vac while I have it apart to make sure no debris in the tubes
Thank you so much for posting this. I was just about to call a sprinkler company to come out and repair my leaky valve. This saved me some money and taught me a little something about my sprinkler system.
I had a leaking station so I rebuilt the valve and for some reason no matter if everything is turned to off it won’t shut off. Thoughts?
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for posting, you were the only source I could find that helped!
You saved my day. Thank you!
nice video, very useful, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Man... you just saved me so much time...thank you!!! I didn't know about the bleed screw. That fixed it. I was about to replace the valve. Great video!
Your a life saver. Thank you!!
Really great video. Unfortunately, mine don't have the air bleed screw and the valves are getting a little old installed in 2013. I am really hoping I don't have to dig up a failed line, but may need to replace the valve at the least.
Ps just subscribed I will post this too thk u
Hi thank u for this I just followed your instructions and bleeding stopped the sprinklers .. however should I buy a rebuild kit and change it out as I paid a sprinkler man 250$ to put the value in only a yr ago.. and he won’t come back unless I pay him again!! When I did the little one to bleed it they shut off…
