I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle czcams.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.

Hey Dude! Really enjoyed the video! Even though your attempted solution was creative, I would try to revisit your bath plumbing to avoid any kink in the plumbing line. The metal jacketed hose in the faucet has a rubber inner-hose. If it is kinked, stretched too much or twisted, it can weaken the inner rubber hose. Each time water goes through that tight area, it creates a lot of pressure and the pipe flexes. This is like bending a garden hose back and forth constantly in one area. Over time it will weaken the integrity of the hose and at some point could fail. A possible simple fix is to build a little pedestal for the faucet to sit on. This will give you more space to avoid kinks and no need to bust up more concrete to fix. Hope this helps, all the best! :)

It's beautiful! Btw, @ 16:50 I totally understand that frustration. I planned ahead and was able to see that the waterline that came with the faucet comes down 4-5 inches and CANNOT be retracted upward. When I saw that I banded my head on this for awhile before realizing that I just needed to allow my waterlines to go up and down. Just needed to tie strings/wires to prevent it from dropping and not pull it back up.

Cost breakdown makes your work just superior. It always looks great.....but I like your footing in reality on the cost. Hats off to you for truly 'keeping it real'. That base of that faucet is brutal! Would be great on a second floor.....with access from below. I wonder if sleeving water lines to j box in the wall would be the way to do it next time. Make the coupling, pull extension lines into a wall j box as you set the faucet, then connect in the j box in the wall. Very cool that you conveyed the challenge of it.

I love your videos, and have learned a lot more. Usually, I like you overall idea, but I think you went in two different directions. Tub and faucet fit in with the existing bathroom, and new tile and say clean, modern. New window trim says old school, Victorian, classy, but clashes with everything else in my opinion. Maybe going with a look in between the old window trim and new would have been better. Just my opinion that I thought I'd share. At the end of the day, you and your family own it, and live in it. So it's your choice of what it looks like.

The only place I would approve paper seam tape is the corners. Secondly, waterproofing was not done. Just a small bucket of waterproofing mass would have cost near to nothing and protected your wooden piping frame and foundation. Keep up your projects mate. Ouch! Here I am at age 55 and looking at installing a jacuzzi tub for therapeutic reasons and y'all are tearing one out and going with a regular tub. Great work tho. Lot of work tho. I'm mixed feeling on it. Hey as long as the little woman is happy that's all that matters. I award you 5 stars and you move to the next round.

The plumbing supplies were $168 because you bought cheap taps.
