Rolf is a great leader of CEO. I had issues with my Oris after my purchase and had hard time resolving the issues with service center and thru Oris Customer Service. I just gave a shot of dm Rolf directly and he actually replied back within a day with a full msg, got himself involved directly with CEO of Oris USA and got me the help I needed. A true great leader. I lost my interest in Oris due to the issue with the watch but I am very hopeful of Oris with Rolf being at the helm.
So even if the CEO takes care of you, you still hold a grudge against the brand? Cmon bro, you are so lucky and should forgive then and give them another chance!
And best in the industry. Practically all the other coverage from W&W '23 has been really lackluster quality when compared to Teddy's videos. For example Revolution Watch barely even showed the new watches that were being discussed and also sound/video quality was almost unbearable, just an one example but aligned with others excluding Teddy
Wow, I've just fallen in love with the Oris Kermit. It stands out beautifully. The face grabs your attention, just as much as the bracelet. Plus, the diameter size seals the deal. Kudos Oris on this gem of a watch.

Honestly, I feel they are a bit overrated. Their price point is in a very strange place, where u can get something like an in house Christopher ward for almost half the price of Oris' similar range. And theirprices are encroaching Tudor territory.

The Kermit watch, while not my style, is very interesting. Looks very well designed & built. I'd bet that will be a collector piece in no time. Kudos for Oris in creating. And the other watches look nice as well. The altimiter is an interesting complication. Esp with the carbon fiber body.
Really like Oris owning one of my own. I'm surprised they created the Kermit link at such a high price point. I can see it as a novelty of sorts below $1000 but at $4000 that's quite the commitment. There was a period where Rolf was staring without blinking at you Teddy, I felt the love!!
I didn’t buy an Oris when I was in Paris and I still regret it. The sellers were very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Looking forward to going back. Thanks Teddy.
I had terrible luck with my Oris 65. First it took on moisture within a few months of owning. I sent it in for service and then a few months later and it completely stopped working. Even when it did work it didn't keep time very accurately. Unimpressed. Switched to an IWC and have been thrilled.
I mentioned to my local Oris AD, the moment they add applied indices giving the dial more depth, I will buy one. Hopefully they will continue to evolve this model since it has done so well.
I like the Kermit. It’s really bright which I think is a brave move and it also has a little humorous dig at Rolex with the ‘Kermit’ theme. Also it taps into the popularity of cartoon characters being used on high end watches (E.g. Omega / Snoopy). Would I wear it? Yes. Would I buy it? Not sure.

I actually was really drawn to the Kermit. I think it would have been better as an inside know, as opposed to sticking the picture in the date window. It's still a stunning watch.

I would prefer to have 31 different faces of the kermit for the date window. let's be realistic, ppl buy this watch to be fun and it won't be a daily wear. not a lot of ppl care about the date function on this. It would actually be really fun if they make it retrograde hiding all the hour markers without the sate window and let the kermit to show you the hours with a rotating hour disc with 12 kermit faces.
i mean it's clear that oris got inspired by the snoopy from omega...but the more i see the kermit the more i like it. i could see it becoming a smash hit...oris would deserve it. very underrated yet awesome watchmaker
I love that they are doing their new in-house movement on the BCPD but I am not sure it about that price jump. 1750 vs. 4400 is a HUGE leap in price point.
Love the date window, but I do think they should have made the indices more legible - perhaps taller and in a more contrasting color that still fit the muppets theme.
I love Oris. My first Swiss watch decades ago. I own a pointer and the Coulson limited. But ProPilot dials need work. Too printed, not enough applied. The Coulson is a cal400 that uses carbon fiber, titanium, and has applied numbers and fine strap. More like that, please!
Im really intrigued by the fact that they the case back on the altimeter model screws directly into threaded carbon. I wonder how many opening and closing cycles it can endure before the threads in the carbon wear out.

Man that thing looks excellent! I thought the colors would be a bit much, but no. I always wondered why generally watch companies never seem to reach into the unknown. There is a good quality about watches fitting a strict standard as far as consistency in design, but I wish more companies would reach towards abstract and making more unique variety. Much like this ProPilot X Kermit. What a beautiful piece. I feel like it's a bit of a gamble when you do something like this, but if it's elegant, it stands out only in all the right ways. Watches are tools and a serious matter, but at the end of the day, everybody just wants to have fun 🎉
So...love the Kermit not sure about titanium case. That green would pop 3x in steel. Just my personal opinion. Must get a calibre 400 at some point. But maybe Tudor 34 is a better fit for me. Anyway we are spoiled this year in the low end of the high end 😂 if I could ask Oris I would love this Kermit or similar idea in the 40mm 65 diver profile with the 400 calibre....I'm fussy what can I say 😅
Seems like a genuinely nice and well intentioned CEO. Are Oris watches any good though? Don't know much about them. But how are the movements, time keeping, regulation etc. As an Omega owner those things are an important part of the package to me at least? Thanks.

I have the OG diver 65 numeral and the service cost stated by Oris is almost Omega level (I also have a Speedy). It doesnt make sense considered the resale value of Oris watches. Please don't tell me any competent watchmaker can service à Sellita, they can, but in my experience, Oris dials (especially the lacquered black) are very easely marked by a 400$ independant job (hands extraction tool and rodico). If you want it done right, go Oris service route, but it will cost you almost half of the resale value 5 years down the road.

Would buy Kermit - but for those poor legibility and thinly painted indices. It’s High end Ti and turbine bezel look great (I love Ti and carbon) so propilot indices are a let down. Oris is great however, really like the brand

Oris is such an intriguing brand, yet I always find myself looking elsewhere. Hope I find one someday that just forces me to pull the trigger.
