nice comparison. I currently have 3x 15year old JL 10w0 powered by a 600watt 2ohm JL amp behind the seat of my truck. I would like to upgrade these subs to the JL shallow series but cannot decide if I should do 2x 12TW1, 2x 10tw3 or one 13tw5. I think I leaning to the Tw1's in 12" for the must output but wondering if the 10" tw3 with the large Xmax will be louder?

Can I get away with going for half power to save money as long as I keep the levels at an appropriate level? Or will I be unhappy with that?
