I haven't listened to the Bombcast in nearly two years (episodes were too long, I couldn't keep up), but listening to this makes me feel nostalgic for this podcast. Even without much of the old guard around, it's still the best video game podcast.
Jeff is just one-of-a-kind. There are very few people that have the kind of knowledge and history that he has while also being as articulate and funny as he is. He’s about as good at talking about video games as anybody is at talking about anything
Jeff is still great but the bombcast isn't as fun as it used to be sadly. It's fine for game news but they don't have the funny conversations or arguments like they once did. The new crew isn't bad at all but they just don't have the charm of the old crew.
I played the first 30 minutes of Duke Nukem Forever on the Streaming service OnLive.

I haven't been able to listen since Dan left for GBeast, but I agree, this made me nostalgic for old Bombcast too.
God Bless 'em, but this is just Jeff talking to people who barely know what he's talking about.
