Thanks for this video, as an Orthodox Christian I am looking to do a Pilgrimage to Georgia to visit the many Monasteries and Churches of Georgia once Covid passes, so learning these little phrases is really helpful!

My first real times in Georgia were just before and during the 2008 war there. I lead a team of volunteers who did our best to bring comfort and assistance to those suffered following those events. I have only been back a few times. One of those times is coming around again and it may last for a few months. Thanks very much for helping me remember a few basic phrases in Georgian and I feel better about it already. Nakvamdis! Madloba!

I started working at a place where the custodian is originally from Georgia. He speaks very little english. I am trying to find some basic words to learn. He speaks russian too, and there are two people there who speak russian so they do a lot of translating for him, and between us and him. He seems like a pretty cool guy. But yeah, I'd like to learn a few words in his mother tongue. Great video.

My mom was from georgia and i used to speak georgian all the time but i havent spoken georgian since she died 10 years ago. I don't remember much tbh and i miss it relly bad :( i still know some basics tho so ill get into it pretty quickly i guess
