    Good to see another Moen video. I did a Moen shower head install a while back. People love these short instructional videos.

    TY so much! I bought a TP holder from Amazon that came with a rectangular bracket like this one but NO instructions. I think I can install it correctly after watching your vid. Only difference is that mine is held in place with a set screw instead of Allen wrench. And only cost ten bucks.

      That's a great deal! For that price you can't beat it! I hope the video helps but you are right its the same idea just different screws for yours.

    In this instance I think it would’ve been better to install that toilet paper holder on the side of the vanity near the toilet, for a few reasons;
    1. For closer placement (important with small children and the elderly) to the toilet.
    2. As not being covered or ruined by potentially wet hanging towels from that towel bar not too far above.
    3. Finally, also hidden from sight, more aesthetically pleasing.
    My new Moen holder came with stamps and a level bubble for perfect placement on install, really ingenious helpful little things like that make me happy LOL

      Closer is better for those reasons for sure! I was just replacing the old one so I wanted to keep it in the same spot. The towel rack hasn't been an issue yet the only thing that has happened a few times is knocking the roll off. Good input and would make sense for most people I think! Thanks for sharing that and thanks for the support!

    Should this be installed into a stud?

      It's installed BY a stud! :-D

  • @jlo_too2493

    That's a horrible location for it. It should be located to the left or right of the toilet. It could have been installed on the side of the cabinet instead at 20" above the floor. Never in front of the toilet where you have to reach so far for it.

    • @JeffLepard
      @JeffLepard  Před 4 lety

      I agree with you the only reason I installed it there was to put it in the same spot where the old one was installed. Otherwise I would of installed it closer. It's ok since I am renting I'm not really too concerned.
