Cuba 2005 - Hershey Railway Depot

The green electric multiple units were imported second hand from Barcelona, Spain in 1995. I believe they were a gift.
The steeple-cab electric locos were built by General Electric in the early1920s
The Brill interurbans were also from the early 1920s

Increíble Cuba se quedó a principios del siglo xx y tienen gran reconocimiento los técnicos, mecanicos que aún reparan y mueven estos trenes.

Good video. Somehow you forget that not all commerce in Cuba goes by road.... Think what they could do with decent equipment and maintenance-of-way. When i see track looking like that it makes me cringe, it just cries out for a Plasser and Theurer track rebuilding machine and crew!
