The Pelican Bass Raider is the best little boat. Great information. I have not drilled into my PBR. I appreciate you showing what is inside the pontoon. I have done many many mods to the Pelican Bass Raider and have several videos on Fishing with Vance. My favorite mods we have done are the Utility Table, the Anderson wire Connectors and the FLOOR. A floor is a must IMO. I will checkout your Facebook page. Thanks for sharing. Fish on!
I’ll check them out. I’ve been thinking about adding a floor and a casting deck. Went out at the end of summer with a pallet strapped on the front to see if it was gonna work for me, not as tippy as I expected.
Man that was a nice job you did. Screwdriver and the pocket rocket i would have never thought of something like that. Always knew pocket rocket was good for something. I have one in my truck 🚛 that I use to Cooks my food with sometime.
Thanks for the tips on the flush mount...Also, i want to install a couple of cleats on my Raider but i'm concerned about using well nuts and wonder if you installed any cleats and if so, how did you mount.
@@greatamericansurvival Thanks for the reply...Yes, i installed a scupper & 2 screw type rear drain plugs as turning that pelican on its nose to drain was just too big a hassle....I'll stay connected.
Mine have been from yak gear, Atwood but the ones in the video were from floor99. floor88 Pack of 2 Fishing Rod Holders, Flush Mount Boat Canoe Kayak Fishing Rod Holders with Gashet Cap Cover & Screws, Plastic Fishing Tackle Accessory Tools, Fish Boat Accessories, Black www.amazon.com/dp/B06WRV2GSQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DZ4Z5SBA5XG531N8FFVV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have two cleats on mine but they are installed on my casting deck. Have you installed a drain plug yet?

Is it the same install on sundolphin pontoon prowler 8.5 ft
Honestly not really sure. But they are mostly all the same as long as you have enough depth to install it and it’s above the water line.
Where did you buy the rod holders? What model? Thank you
