Hey man, I have recently sparked the urge to start fishing again. Sadly, my family gave away all of our rods a few years back. My price point is around $100. Do you recommend this ride for a beginner and is there other big cash set ups that you recommended that price point thank you.

I’m trying to decide between this and a hooked 25. I just need to know if at the end of 1 day on the river (85+ temperature) it will still have ice in it. I think the hooked 25 would hold ice for 2-3 days in those conditions.

I use that same system for a twelve valco boat. The only difference is I use three pieces of chain two feet long. I fish the delta Which can move pretty fast and it holds me rock solid. The beauty of it is it doesn't get hung up very often and when it does it usually comes right out.

Anchors are great with a quick release, but in current you can quickly get onto serious trouble.

I'm hearing it wont sink much, I like the 5" size but the next one up sinks better from what I'm watching, I wanna get a few in bone and the shad colors.

The ABU Garcia Max X and STX this will look good with them Max pro in medium heavy rod also for the one I like to use in my pown has mad grass everywhere to punching though and pull plastic though also. My nex max pro. Most combo are medium power where I live need to order the medium heavy rod combo. Good review of this combo. I do like Lew's combo also $125 is good for me. Or clearance ⁉️🤔 is good also.
