- Make this simple yet so freakin delicious sauce in a flash.. Really in 30-40 minutes being careful not to burn it. This mojo is amazing to put on cooked Roast Pork, Beans, Cuban Sandwich, Tostones and so much more. You can incorporate this with the Freakin Rican Sofrito. You know it’s real when you see Café Bustelo 💯🙌🏾😋
I fry an onion along with the garlic. At the end when the garlic is browned I add a tablespoon or 2 (depending what you’re using it for) of dried oregano and 1/2 cup of vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. It comes out delish.
Yessssssss👌 that vinegar and oregano🤤
Just wanted to share with you that my 12 year old son looks forward to watching your videos with me. He always compares the different ways that people have of doing things. Watching you makes him help me out a lot more in the kitchen with out a pout face.May God keep blessing you in all you do.
Went my son was13 he told me mom I want to learn how to cook. Today at 43 he is the one that cook at his home. What a bless. 😇
We don’t use measuring spoons... we stop when the spirit tells us.
Ok sure. But that doesnt mean a mountain of salt is half a teaspoon 🤣🤣
@@sublimegirl1 Amen
🤣🤣
The Spirit? That’s soooo funny 😂
You have to when you're doing a video.
Presentation Tip, if you don't want too much oil sitting on top. After toasting the oil. Add teaspoon of Honey, Half a Teaspoon of Dried Oregano, Fresh Squeeze of Lime or Orange for (Vitamin C), Half Cut of White onion and 3 to 10 Fresh Garlic then Puree it so it can be a Sauce consistency.
Tip? That's not a tip, that's just making it another recipe. Adding all of that other stuff just makes it something else.
@@RumbleFish69Lol. Right
Hi, great recipes... I would recommend using GrapeSeed Oil ( organic preferably) for high temperature frying any other vegetable oils would release free radicals
I just made the mojo sauce and my son could not stop saying how delicious it smells! I am so excited to start using it when I make the homefries and other foods as you suggested.😊

Be bless.👍👐👌🍽🍷

Oooooo I try it on toasted bread and it awesome .. Good job you r nuestro Puertorican chef
Yup, very quick and simple 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯
I love all of your recipes.
Thanks for great recipe. I was a cook at age 18 for Marriott and Puerto Rican restaurants cuisine wasn't around in my town. or offered at SUNY Binghamton college cuisine. My bf is Puerto Rican so I have to make yummy foods when he comes over.He liked my empanadas and took a few home :) . I think Moho sauce is essential basic staple one should have in the kitchen.I'm going to bring it to a boil like you but try it in the crock pot on low, Although on the screen it looks like more then 1/2 tsp of salt but thas ok to have a little more as salt preserves anything and of course flavors it. Thanks for being on here makes life more simpler to cook Puerto Rican and listen to as you speak english:)
I love you freaking rican God Bless you
I love your videos. Real life saver for family night dinners.
I am new here. I love your cooking demonstrations. I am learning. Thank you for sharing.
Earlier this year, I had mojo de ajo for the first time - on a burrito, weirdly - and it got me hooked. Thanks for an easy to understand video on how to make it at home :)
MenloMarseilles .
8 minutes is way too long for a simple recipe like this! 💯
Frank your recipe 😋was great and I will be trying it soon. Wonderful job 👏keep up the great work
Thanks for receipe. My daughter loves this on chicken chunks and green plantains.
That was half a TEASPOON of salt? It looked more like tablespoon.
I CRIED when he said that 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I thought the same thing
Thank you so much. I loved the video and am about to cook this for the 1st time today! Thank you sweetie! 🌴🔥🤘

Gracias por compartir, se ve delicioso lo tengo que haces🌹
I'm doing a smaller batch, because it's my first time making it. The garlic turned a blue green right away, so I rushed off to Google. Lol
I'm so happy to have found this channel. I love cooking all foods and learned to make a lot of PR dishes back before I had access to CZcams, but there's still plenty for me to learn.
looks amazing.
SO EASY!! Gonna make this like today
This is gonna come in handy for thanksgiving tomorrow lol I had to subscribe, great video

Thank you so much bro, I did this just like you did and everybody who tried it, loved it! How much time do you think it will stay fresh or edible in the frigde?
Very,very nice.Thankyou .
perfect recipe. i do the same exact thing except i use a 1/1 ratio of valencia orange and lime instead of a lemon (its a cuban thing). btw i'm going to use this on the thanksgiving turkey...more exciting than gravy in my opinion
how long will that stuff keep if you put it in the refrigerator?
Looks real good. I might try it like this. I always use olive oil and put a touch of vinegar in it.
Love the video... just learned how to do mojo. Mi cielo ... do we reheat what we need for tostones or carne? God bless.
I’m making this TONIGHT!! Thank you!!

Can I use Himalayan salt instead of regular salt? And for how long can I store this mojo for in storage?
Can you reheat this after it’s been refrigerated? As oppose to put it on the food while it’s hot

Hi Franklin, I enjoyed your video on making mojito but was wondering if by covering it slightly, it would have cooked faster?
Looooooove the Pochy y su coco band intro song!!! That goes so well con esta video
What is the shelf/refrigerator life of the mojo? Gracias!
Awesome
Throw a litlle on it when its hot. I dont underatand Do you have to reheat the sauce🤔
easy-to-do...♡😊 🙏
Yey! New videos!
Love your shirt!
This video saved my family's breakfast. Shout out from Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Omg! That looks so good! I wish I lived in New York!
Maybe one day you can visit! Or you can have our pasteles, readily available at www.Thefreakinricanrestaurant.com. Thank you for watching
Good but tasted like garlic oil more than mojo. Added oregano, cilantro, orange juice, & pepper. Will use olive oil next time, & a lot more fresh juice, less oil.
I Agree.
Hello my name is Aida this is my first time.
I been looking through your recipes menu. I cannot find (steak with onion). Is it possible that you could make a video of it. thank you so much and thank you for helping the people in Puerto Rico you are so humble and kind God bless you.☺
How long can I keep mojo in the fridge ?
Yo voy a hacer esta receta! Se lo aseguro!!!
going to make this.
That was not 1/2 teaspoon😂😂😂 it's all good though🤗
In my house, we add vinegar also.
How long can this be stored for.
¡Buen provecho! Make sure you’re using iodized sea salt. Es muy ímporta 😘
Can you use another type of oil? I don’t like canola oil .. thanks
Hi! How do you store it and how long it last? Amazing channel! God bless!
When I make my mojito I use Oil, vinegar salt and pepper. and of course the garlic. Even though I chop it in the chopper I put in the pilon because the juices that come out of the garlic is everything in the mojito. after i crush more in the pilon I add salt and pepper and vinegar to taste. No I do not heat the oil not necessary. I haven't mastered the measurements lol as i always make alot because its a big hit in my home. What ever is left over I use for marinating my meats. This is new i'd like to try it to see. I don't know if I will like the cooked taste of the garlic. but hey we learn from each other right?
I do it the same way
Can you use olive oil, or vegetable oil?
