We have never used Blossom & Root BUT I love having lots of options (we are very go with the flow in our homeschool) I can’t wait to see your end of the year review :)
I love it because I love the options and I can approach the lesson in my own way! I've never had that before with any other curriculum. My kids love it because it's hands on and creative. Everybody wins! Thank you for watching! X
Always love your videos because we are also using Blossom and Root Year 4. This is our second year of using Blossom and Root and I have to say, as much as I love the science, it stresses me out. I love all the options but I’m so indecisive that I often put it off and fall way “behind”. My son loves it though. Do you do both the physics and engineering in one week? Do you also use the Nature Study, Profiles in Science and Art?
I also purchased Year 5 Science. I cannot wait to switch it up and start Astronomy once it’s released.
Thank you so much! 🥰 I completely understand, I was at first doing both but decided to do it one per week and do it well , or just keep the second one short and simple. It makes all the difference! I know that means we may not get across as much as fast but that’s okay with us. I also think pre-planning what we are doing helps so much! We cover nature on the Friday usually and that works quite well. Astronomy will be so good! 😍 let me know how it goes!
How old were your kids when you started doing science with them??
More formal science investigations from 6 ( my daughter was 4) they just love it! Thank you for watching!
