@@PipeDoctor we got them cooling 💪🏼
@@PipeDoctor hiring any new technicians lol been watching for a while.
Gauge is swinging along with noise 🧐🧐🧐
I knew you were in NY even before it popped up on screen. 😅
I have never seen a tridicator bounce like that. That's weird
its awsome to see a "Master " at his trade, should run for president,or governor of new york, I"d vote for u, and im in cali
if you speed the up the video it sounds mechanical listen to the audio at 2x speed. sounds like an old steam locomotive. i also poop with socks on
@@PipeDoctorI do all the time. That’s what the hole is fot.
First! Great video!
this is where I'll go "smug azz", what clown put that pipe so close in front of the zone relays box! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
irl, should have rotated the 90 straight off tank bottom to an 45 upward angle, then put a 45 to go vertical to the other pipe, leaving a clear space around the box. or 45 off the tank then to combo shutoff/drain valve. hindsight is 20/20. lol for putting it in your own way. 🤪🤡🥳
Hi Mikey thoughts on oil fired boiler with an indirect water for a new house? Maximum 225 gallons for the first hour draw seems pretty good for a 2 bathroom house compared with tankless?
Boiler surge...... Time to add a can of 8-way boiler treatment.
Shut the burner off and see if surging stops.
the surging pressure, is probably from the radiant circulator and thermostatic mixing valve. I didn't didn't catch exactly how it was plumbed, but it's probably done wrong. 🧐
@@PipeDoctor if your positive it wasn't running, then one of the other zones has air/vapor locking and not circulating or dead heading. next time shut off both return/supply pair at once to isolate.
alternately, there's radiator valve/shutoff/etc. in one or more of the loops turned off and dead-heading. any of the above will cause surging like that. that's far to severe to be "boiler surge" from schmutz build up.
Great video. Love the approach. Keep being you. Let’s talk soon. 💸💸
@@PipeDoctor The pipe nurse goes into retirement. Too many bad cases. Shes burnt out (hypothetically jokingly speaking). You should think about an assistant that can assist you full circle. I know the perfect person for the job.
I think it's Hunter snorting a line.
I’m just wondering if the issue with the tridicator gauge is air in the steam lines? This is coming from someone who has never worked on a steam boiler in his life. Just a thought.
8:10 WTF?! That Tridicator gauge is bouncing like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
@@PipeDoctor the boiler is surging probably for some reason maybe temperature related because as the boiler ran I noticed the noise slowed down, but definatly unusual especially on a hot water boiler.
come on now Mikey, Scar face again and I want to play again? Love you buddy , OK, Mikey more hacks being your more stacks$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
bad expansion tank
Nope?
😐👍🏻🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🇺🇲
@PipeDoctor could be air trapped in the system ???
China Sydrrome ? fail safe systems? tip on the computer again?
I have never seen a tridicator bounce like that. That's weird
Only thing I can think of is the feed valve is partially clogged and not filling it properly.
Mineral build up in boiler
