10 hours of labor. Stayed 2 hours overtime, good amazing food from a loving wife, he's happy, gets irritated at a viewer telling him about his table manners, he says he has an amazing life, eats like a pig while trashing detractors. Phil is an amazing person.
I make more in a 7 1/2 hour day and I sit at a computer at my home. I also take an hour off for lunch, get 9 holidays and up to 23 additional days a year off.

Phil has been coasting on his early success for years, he's now over 40, so he doesn't appeal to a younger audience, he constantly brings up money, so older people will be put off.
At this rate, it's inevitable the channel will fail eventually, it's just a matter of how long he can drag this out for.

There are plenty of over 40 streamers who appeal to a younger audience. Phil is just toxic across all age groups. Heck Doody is almost 50 and appeals to teens and twenty somethings. Then again Doody is still younger than Phil in real years.
@@halicarnassus8235 I disagree. Most of the popular streamers right now are generally in their 20's or early 30's (if older, they generally started at around those ages), and that's where most of the younger audience will be.
Doody may have a small handful of young viewers, but I'm guessing the average age of his viewers are closer to 35.
He still made more than he deserves. But looking at him make 200 dollars from 4 people, it shows what a joke his "career" has become. He's only staying here out of spite and entitlement, and the people tipping him are the same; tipping only out of spite towards the people who don't like Phil. It's almost sad.
The thing is Phil hitting rock bottom would be the best thing for him. As long as the whales show up, he doesn't have to face reality. Once the minet dries up, he'll have to make some hard decisions and finally grow up. Until that point, he's stuck in a vicious cycle.

Hey Doody, can you differentiate commentary videos from restreams? Usually, it's clear by the video length but sometimes it's not clear when it's restream or commentary from just a look :)
Its a little hard without screwing up the algorithm. I usually add timestamps in the description for commentary vids.

The issue with the marathons and special events is the same issue between DSPGaming and DSPReacts. It’s all the same. Theres nothing special or unique about any of it. Same setup, same background, same glasses, hat, vest goal. Same games, same complaints. He puts zero effort into his content.
