Mick Gordon for Doom 2016 soundtrack, and he actually got it. Bear did an absolutely amazing job on GOW OST, but I encourage you to look at how music works in Doom, it's like the ultimate way of doing music in a video game
Bear is probably my favorite composer of all time. Ever since Battlestar Galactica, which is one of the most genius soundtracks I've listened to.
Gareth Coker does some top tier shit as well, Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps. Or Darksiders Genesis. Absolutely adore those OSTs
He should get it, the job he has done is amazing. This game made my eyes wet a few times. Such a masterpiece, also thanks to the music in big way!

I attended that concert, both Eivør Pálsdóttir and Einar Selvik were excellent, but after watching this video I must also praise the film, sound and editing team, excellent work guys 👌

The fact that this much effort and talent was put into the soundtrack of a video game? Absolutely incredible. Video games are truly raising the bar in the entertainment world. Hollywood needs to catch up.
So do the Grammy's. The Grammy's should be about what's good, not what had the biggest marketing budget. Some of the stuff that won Grammy's last time around was auto-tuned crap.

Eivør is genuinely one of the best singers I’ve ever heard. I knew of her before she got involved with God of War and was so excited when they involved her. She’s got such an interesting musical background. She’s done everything from folk to jazz and everything in between. Her solo work is great.
She is good but one of the best singer? ever heard of Freddie Mercury? now THAT is the best singer in history!

I remember playing GoW for the first time. It was something else. The narrative has such a great rhythm like I've never experienced before in a video game before. I'm sure you folks understand what I mean. Anyway, when I heard this song for the first time, I felt shivers down my spine. I still get that. A true masterpiece.

Best of the best. The Danish National Symphony has been part of our night routine for two years now. The whole family loves it especially our 3 yr old, she's a Tuva fan.
Must be a wonderful experience seeing this in person.

I don't understand how Elden Ring won Game of the Year I have lived with this series from 2008 until now. I am very amazed by what I see and the development of Kratos' character. You will not feel the development of a character unless you live with it. Kratos is the best character in the history of games, from a bloodthirsty young man to a wise old man. This is very wonderful.

Always a pleasure to watch the performances of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Absolutely professional musicians with the perfect conducting and the rich sound. A shame I cannot experience it live due to being in a different country. Hope to see more recordings of the concerts! Thank you so much for publishing them! ❤

Best I've ever heard, not even a contest. There are many voices and singers I love, but I wouldn't run a competition against Eivor. She is phenomenal.
Rarely have I felt that a song awakens something very deep in me, as if my soul recognized the feelings within this music.
How did I go all this time not knowing that it was Eivør doing the haunting lead vocals on that track 😭
Who else could them to this ridiculous level of quality? Every note she sings is perfect. It's not just her ranges, but the quality of every note she sings. It's amazing.

Love how Einar Selvik, a god tier singer/musician, is just sitting in the backdrop quietly. Kind of like a secret weapon just incase things need to get a million times more epic.
Because they both are that hidden weapon for different purpose just waiting to be used.
He performed in this concert also. Eivor is also a weapon, don't worry about that.

This soundtrack will never not give me chills. It's so haunting and beautiful and uplifting yet devastating. One of my all time favorites. Ashes is my favorite song from 2018 God of War Soundtrack.
