you are almost at the point where you can start using Plant Growth Regulator which will slow down the vertical growth of your grass. This will mean you won't have to mow as often and will help you with your clippings. Other than that I would recommend mowing more often, it looks like you are getting a lot of grass clippings. You probably need to mow daily.

Your dogs pee might be causing those spot because of the diet your dog is on a lot the name brands food are toxic a raw meat diet and or all natural food diet for your dogs may help

Pouring water where your dog pees will dilute it enough to not kill the grass
There's actually a point behind the peeing in your yard. The ammonia in urine helps the grass grow, and any other plant.

I may be stupid for thinking, but can the excess grass be used for food maybe? For horses or cows? Or is that not a thing?
Bro get a tarp and rake onto it. You can then pick the tarp up with all the clippings for a single dump.

Your grass was waaaaaayyy too tall for a reel mower... should have mulched or bagged first with a rotary when its that high, and then clean it up 😂

You should only be taking off 1/3 of the blade when you cut. You’re literally scalping your lawn.
