OMG! Your videos keep getting better! You always make me feel like I am in the passenger seat going with you! First, I love the loader usage and the gravel pick up... Then you brought out the box blade and final graded the driveway, the king is on the throne. Final product, video and content was awesome! Absolutely loved it!
Agree, he does a great job. That's called continuity, and Neal knows it. That's one of the reasons Andrew Camerata (he got intoCZcams early) has had such a successful channel from the beginning. But it takes lots of editing (AKA work).
I just started watching your videos over the past weekend. They are always entertaining and educational. The narration and video angles are so well done. Please continue making videos like these. The content is some of the very best on the CZcams, in my opinion. BTW, we are the lucky ones for being able to view them at our leisure as a viewing audience.
Everyone needs relatives like you Neil! I've begun looking forward to starting my Sunday's watching your hard work. Thanks for all the great videos you post.
I never thought I'd find grading a driveway so fascinating! You really are an engaging presenter and I look forward to each new video. Many thanks from England
What continues to amaze me is how you get so much done while filming, not only from several angles but also from the air as you’re driving around! I can only imagine you must have a copilot 😂
Yes, sometimes I have a copilot but not always. You can see me holding the drone remote when I get out of the skid loader but when at the quarry I had my nephew flying the drone.
Sundays have become my favourite day! It's Neil's video day!! Thanks for all the great content!! Closing sequence is the best. I wish I had kept all the visitor badges from my kid's school. I was there all the time!! You're a good Dad Neil!!
What a wonderful job! And the drive looks great. Nice lines along the edges. Loved the ride along in the dump truck and the road conditions along the way. Excellent video.
Neil, your camera work and video production skills are top notch. I love watching your videos because of the quality and the content. Watching DigDriveDIY always makes my day! Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these videos.
Neil. Theres a stone quarry on the side of the Hudson river in NY that the quarry is also on the other side of railroad tracks. They load barges in the river. So the stone is mined and crushed on one side, then sorted across the tracks on the river side..then loaded on barges.
There is nothing better then starting a task just to get by and then the right help comes along and totally gets it done in a much more than "get by" fashion! It helped that you were able to pull 10 tons of gravel out of the driveway before even touching the 20 he bought to finish it so nice!
I enjoy your videos each week! I grew up in Huntington, Indiana and your videos remind me of that area. I am a middle school principal in central Indiana and I love that you visit your children in their school. Many parents stop this at middle school. Please keep visiting when they go to middle school. Students often tell their parents to stay away but I always see big smiles when their parents show up for lunch.
So much to say about this video and the first use of your new track loader, BUT what stood out to me the most were your awesome drone shots! They really added to the story and the "aerial tour" of the quarry. Great job Neil!!!
Neil- You are truly an amazing husband, father and neighbor! I truly look forward to your Sunday morning videos. I always learn something and they put a smile on my face. You're just plain "good people"! God bless!
Now I get the obsession with having so much limestone everywhere, its interesting to se how materials that are in abundance in some areas you see it used everywhere around that area
Neil, the wholesomeness of your videos are much appreciated. In a crazy world it’s refreshing to know there are still sensible people all over America. Thank you.
Our parallel lives continue on! You’ve got me looking forward to tearing out my asphalt drive put down in 1978. I’ll be widening it two feet and having my college friend, Gregg Ness from Hunington Asphalt lay down a double thickness of binder (6”) and a double thickness of topcoat. Very nice work with the track loader in your cousins drive. Love seeing things getting cleaned up and made right like that. I found float mode to be awesome when I regraded the yard back in 2019. Great stuff! See ya next week on the channel, Neil!
Hi Neil. It looked like you knew what you were doing on the skid loader. You probably already watch him, but in case you don't, Andrew Camarata is a wizard with laying down stone like you were doing. I've never seen Andrew go around in circles like you do though. That leaves a nice finish. Kind of like a fly cutter on a milling machine!
Love your trophy wall of lunch dates with your girls. Best investment of your time that will pay a lifetime of dividends. But the skid steer was a pretty good investment too. Love the channel. Greg
Neil you are a True Gift to your Family, Friends and Community. The Skid Steer is the right tool for that job and you make the results shine. You’ve built in a Big Coming Home Smile Factor that will be reflected on for a while, well done. 😊👍👍👍
Neil thank you for keeping me connected to home. I am now retired in Arizona but grew up in the Fort and lived in Columbia City also. My grandchildren went to school at Harlan and Woodburn. I spent many hours at the park in Harlan watching ball games. Today’s video brought back memories from way back. My dad’s good friend worked at the Woodburn pit and the giant shovel that was used there was named after him. “Big Lew” Thanks for the memories and I enjoy the videos from my old stomping grounds.
one of my greatest past times as a kid, was watching Bob Ross work. it was therapeutic. you’re my new Bob Ross. you make me wanna move out to the country. maybe i’m missing the midwest Michigan. nevertheless, thanks.
Nice job Neil. You look like a pro using the skid loader for the first time. It will become easier as you use it more and you will wonder why it took so long to buy one. I still think it’s close to one of the best thing I’ve ever bought for my property and my electrical buisness.
Thanks for another awesome Video I drive dump truck on a daily basis and always enjoy seeing a new rock quarry and I love seeing you redo drives you do a fantastic job making a old drive look like a new one keep up that great work
I lived across the street from a stone quarry... the blasting was obnoxious and cracked my foundation, walls, ceilings 😢😢😢... The company had to call before they would blast... would come to inspect the house often for damages... ugh... My mother and her siblings had lots of stories about swimming there... what was in it (cars, bicycles and who knows what else 🙄🙄🙄)... Awwww... more softball!!! Do both girls play??? What positions??? That water must've been soooo cold!!! I'm super envious of all of your toys!!! You do such a great job!!! Your cousins driveway looks awesome!!! What was his reaction when he saw it??? Lol... I know... I ask too many questions!!!😂😂😂
My youngest graduates from college next week but I still have my visitation stickers from elementary school stuck to the back of my sun visor in my truck guess I’m not the only dad that saves stuff like that
Good morning, Neil. It's amazing what those machines can do. I may have mentioned this previously but back in Florida we had a concrete driveway removed and replaced with 57s. What I thought was going to be a daunting task turned out to be about four hours of work. The operator was a master with that machine. It was so perfect when he finished, I just sat on my JD 318 (at the time) along with my box blade attached with nothing to do but admire it. As for the stickers at the end? I know exactly what you're saying. I did the same thing (again) with our granddaughters. You may want to save room on that door for them. I'm not saying grandchildren are guaranteed but if you're lucky enough you can have the experience all over again. Just last Monday our granddaughter's school held its annual Grandparents Day. One is now 15 and the other 13. I spent the day with the older and grandma spent her day with the younger. The feeling grandpa (me) had with her holding my hand as we toured the campus was an experience I wish everybody could have. Who knows? God willing maybe around 2040 or so, we'll be watching it on your Sunday videos. Well, that's not too likely for me. :)
Awesome job on the driveway. If I didn't know better, I would say that painting Bruno yellow makes it do a better job. But I guess the grader box had a little to do with it too.
The end with the visitor badges, Neil . . . I know I’m not far behind you but *pow* right in the feels. Great work and great video. Hope I can be like you when I (finally) grow up. 👍
Very nice Neil! There are so many things you can do with one of those machines. I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of it. Especially with all the attachments available. It might even be your solution to save from renting the firewood processor!
Bonjour Neil. Amicalement. Emmanuel
Drive past that quarry twice a day everyday, cool to see the inside of it. I go to work everyday from Old 24 down state line road to Edgerton and take Dawkins into New Haven. It's weird seeing it on You Tube.
Enjoyed the placing of the visitor badge on the inside of the cabinet door... End of an era? :) Could do with an update on the the garage door annotations in a future video :)
Thanks. Yes truly an end and new beginning. They need to keep the garage door going though until their kids take their place. I will buy more doors if need be! They will make the next addition to the door on Father's Day so expect an update around then.
The skidsteer is going to make your life so much easier, you're going to ask yourself why you didn't get one sooner. (Money, the answer is money). Lol. Thanks for sharing.
4:26 - As I predicted weeks ago, I rarely detect anything you say as grammatically incorrect, this one did though :) "Here comes the tracks." With a plural subject, "come" would be correct. Enjoyed the video! Cheers, Sev
They could dig the next quarry at your family member's driveway! A lot of decades of gravel have settled in that driveway. I'm glad you were able to use the new machine to utilize some of the sunken treasure. The new driveway looks great! Do they load railcars at the quarry, or do the tracks just go past it??
Great machine, a bit different to the pull grader. April been a washout here too, and cold. 1st warm day today, and heard the Cuckoo, spring has arrived!
I just love how real and honest you are in how this stuff goes. "I dont know how to use this" etc. We all do that and get better each time. Thank you so much.
I watch a lot of tractor and skid steer videos. Nothing is as easy as it looks when somebody else is doing it on CZcams. I believe most tasks are done easier on a skid steer due to being able to see the bucket better and being able to steer while applying down pressure to the bucket. I look forward to you answering these questions in the weeks and months to come….
Pretty nice job for a first timer… much better than my outcome! I like limestone driveways. The way they look, the way the stones knit and how they sound when you drive over them is just comfortable… to me. My daughter had a home in Virginia. The old driveway had turned into a wagon trail. Grass had grown up everywhere but the two tire tracks. We rented a compact tractor with a box blade and loader. It was fairly dry but the soil was sandy. So I was able to scratch grass and stone off and pile it in a wash behind their yard. The next day, the quarry brought a load of stone. It was crushed granite. Although it spread nicely. It didn’t pack quite as well as limestone. It looked real nice but the stone ‘moved’ more than I was used to. Soon, the tracks reappeared. And, unlike limestone, the shattered edges of the granite were razor sharp even after being driven over for months. My take on it was that granite was more durable and produced less dust. But, that wearing away of the limestone actually makes it a more practical alternative. Just my opinion… The girls are growing up fast! Savor every moment. They’ll soon be young ladies!!!
Can we just have some respect for the end of the video? That is someone who cares about family. You don't see that very often in the USA sadly.
OMG! Your videos keep getting better! You always make me feel like I am in the passenger seat going with you! First, I love the loader usage and the gravel pick up... Then you brought out the box blade and final graded the driveway, the king is on the throne. Final product, video and content was awesome! Absolutely loved it!
Thank you so much Aaron!!
Agree, he does a great job. That's called continuity, and Neal knows it. That's one of the reasons Andrew Camerata (he got intoCZcams early) has had such a successful channel from the beginning. But it takes lots of editing (AKA work).

Wow, thank you!
The smile on his face over that new machine was EPIC😀👍
Im officially an old man. Can have the worst day and watch you work a driveway and my blood pressure goes down and im just nice and relaxed after lol.
Your cousin is very lucky to have you in the family. The before and after shots of the driveway are amazing!
Actually I'm lucky to have him too. He's a plumber and helped me plumb our entire house and installed the HVAC. I'm still indebted to him!
Thanks!
I love watching people work hard.
That was fascinating to watch. Beautiful drone shots ❤❤❤
Looks great! I love the drone shots. Interesting shots and info on the quarry, too.

7:47 - Wow. There’s the thumbnail for your next lawn care video. 😉👍
Neil, you will be a master operator on that skid loader in no time!
😂🤣😂 I knew you couldn't handle a crooked driveway!!! Very nice after photos.
Great job. You squeezed the job in a little over an hour. Thank you for your video.
Neil, your camera work and video production skills are top notch. I love watching your videos because of the quality and the content. Watching DigDriveDIY always makes my day! Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these videos.
You’re loving that skid steer. It’s all over your face. 😊
Holy Smokes, Neil! For “not knowing what you are doing”, you sure do make it look pretty! Love your videos!
I have goosebumps…I save the name badge stickers too. I seriously can’t believe that. I knew I liked you!
Your drone footage sure adds a lot to your videos. Thank you.
Nicely done! Proper first use for the skid loader! Nothing like a freshly spread load of stone to appreciate every time you drive over it.
Neil. Theres a stone quarry on the side of the Hudson river in NY that the quarry is also on the other side of railroad tracks. They load barges in the river. So the stone is mined and crushed on one side, then sorted across the tracks on the river side..then loaded on barges.

Those Deere Skid-loaders are amazing! I have spent many hours in them doing farm work! I miss running those loaders

Love the video Neil Keep thems comming Allso love the new Skid steer .

Great job looking forward to more with the 331G
A lot of times, these small projects take a lot more time than I planned. Many times I must make several trips to the big box store for each project.
You missed out the best bit!!! The owners reaction to your awesome job!
Another great video! Keep them coming, looking forward to the next one
Greetings from Australia! Another great video, thanks 👍

Good morning!!!
I live just north of you in st. Joe. The rain has been relentless.
Love that title! Great video Neil.
very good video and loved the family shots too

@@digdrivediy Look forward to the future update on the garage door panels. It's a great way of recording the coming and going of those "Era's" :)
I love my jd 216 but that 316 is a beautiful beast 😍
Getting really good with the drone shots!!
Hey thanks Phil!
The skidsteer is going to make your life so much easier, you're going to ask yourself why you didn't get one sooner. (Money, the answer is money). Lol. Thanks for sharing.

You killed it! Great job!
Love this style of videos keep up the great work !!!!
Great job keep up the great work love your videos thank you
And another great video! Love it!
That was a great video to watch. Love how you show your steps. I have learned from you. Now off to my driveway after the rain this week. Thanks again!

The skid loader looks like fun.
Love your cousins steel-toed construction crocs! 😂
Thanks for the drone shots. Impressive!
That really adds a nice touch to his videos. I wonder if Indiana has a law against droning while driving? :)
Whole week waiting for this documentary master piece ! greetings from Poland !
Really looks good.. a massive improvement.
Great drone work!
Turned out great!
Great video. Looking forward to the new adventures you will get into with your new machine
That looks great!
Great video as always man!!!!
So satisfying!
Man you do great work mister.
Love the video. Definitely appreciated the view of the Midwest pit and the driveway turned out nice as always.
Wow! that driveway looks great.
WOW! That looks awesome! Nice job for one load for sure!
Just my opinion…
The girls are growing up fast! Savor every moment. They’ll soon be young ladies!!!
