Nick; I must say this was an excellent video. The mans' fish room is amazing, but what really stands out is you. You, not one time, dominated the tour. Unlike in the US, where the person conducting the tour, tends to take over, and will not shut up. You asked questions, talked very little, and allowed him to show and explain his fish room. That alone made it a very great tour. But you acted like an interested fellow fish keeper who wanted to learn something new. It was great, be proud! Thank you.
Wasn't acting, just loved listening to Adrian too!
Ty
this is exactly what i was thinking throughout!!
This.
Honestly, he always acts like a man you can fall in love with
Nick, This man is keeping one of the top fish rooms in the world. Please help him reach the fish keepers who are enthusiastic about his skills. He absolutely must have a CZcams presence.
Coming from you that is a compliment sir, i have watched many of your videos, i have a few dirted tanks after listening to your advice, all the best from Scotland 🏴👍🏻
I agree! This guy needs to have a CZcams channel! His tanks are gorgeous!
🅾️🅿️☝️ 💯✅✅✅
N+1 ‼️
N+1 ‼️
Having a CZcams presence would divide his time. Adrian needs to go on doing what he's doing.
Not gonna lie I’m not the biggest fan of the channel but this has seriously been the best fish room tour I’ve ever seen on CZcams. Hats off to you brother keep it up. This was a masterpiece.
Can't agree more!
Need to go watch Ohio fish rescue
Agree
Cringe, "not the biggest fan of.... but...."
first part of this comment was very unnecessary. be nice bro
His t-shirts says it all how much he cares about nature
❤
This is not a video, this is a documentary! Perfect ☺
Just WOW. I mean it when I say - this is the best fish tank related video I've seen. No super fast editing, no loud music, no "showoff" egos, not a single cringe joke. Just absolute fans of this hobby sharing their passion. I couldn't help but smile throughout the whole video. I would love to spend hours in this place! Haha
Anyways, thank you so much and greetings from Czechia!
Adrian definitely is a great presenter and perform so good in front of camera 📷 thanks for bringing his fishroom to all of us 💓
Easily the best tanks I've ever seen. So naturalistic and gorgeous. Actually mimics real habitats, and so of course the fish thrive
me: literally never owned a fish
also me: watches an entire hour long fish room tour
This man Adrian, got to be one of the nicest and happiest fish person out there. He got some brilliant, beautiful and amazing setups! He has every reason to be proud of his work and Look forward to seeing/ hearing more of his work in future Videos! please do a revisit when he has those ponds build! His house and Yard is what I dream of having one day as well! So happy to see people out there that shares an equal interest in plants, fish and birds! Thank you for this amazing video!
Cheers from a Canadian living in Germany!
Right?! At 44:22 I paused to look at his pegboard/work bench and said aloud: "Wait-is that a *washing machine* ?! Is this HIS HOUSE??"
Then a few seconds later 44:31 clearly shows a garage bay door I hadn't even noted earlier and I-😲🙆😍
I love how his tanks are green everywhere, it feels like looking from the wild 🙏🏻
Omg right! Even the african cichlids have some greenery in them ❤
This is definitely the best fish room tour I’ve seen. The conversation, the fish selection, the editing, and everything else is really nice. Great job.
Adrian is so well spoken and wonderful to listen to
Wonderful fish room
Great video 👍
What a talented man! his home and garden is beautifully set up, what he’s done with his tanks is an art form.
Absolutely one of my favorite Fish Room Tours on CZcams, hands down. Just love seeing someone communicate their passion without exuberant, frenetic expressions. I've been doing this hobby for 30 years and hope I'm on track to match this level of passion in another 15 years!
This room is amazing, so natural and well kept
Amazing fish room
I found it funny that when discussing books vs youtube, the discussion was around youtube being short and instant gratification, meanwhile I am at 1 hour and 2 minutes into a video. 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely stunning fish room and incredible interview. So well edited as well. I could’ve easily watched hours of this content.
Too many times you get the feeling that people's tanks are full of fish because they spend a fortune on new fish it is lovely to see someone who is clearly is keeping his tanks perfectly 10out of 10 excellent fish keeping
I honestly put off watching this video for quite awhile because there are just so many fish room tours and very few of them hold your attention after the first ten minutes. But I have to say, this was probably the top fish room tour I've seen. And it's not just the tanks and the fish themselves, but the editing style. Excellent use of third person camera, excellent use of b roll footage, and just excellent choice of content. Bravo sir.
-Doesn't show off his fish room outside of family
-It's a nicer and better stocked fish room than 99% of aquarium stores out there
Love this guy haha! Does it all for the love of fishkeeping. Wish he had an internet-savvy nephew who got into the hobby with him and also shared it online, lol.
Thank you for showing us this beautiful collection. Adrian’s love of nature and gentle spirit shines through. Imagine that “nobody has shown an interest” in seeing his fishroom before! Amazing!
Looking at the duration of the video I thought I wil just play and skip the video in few mins... As I experienced in other other fishroom studios.
But with this one, I couldn't believe that I didn't took a pause and felt the video was small to the amount of interest and life this guy has put into the aquarium and fish hobby.
I must say, all the aquariums were so much alive and engaging than those sparkle clean glass boxes which are being promoted nowadays through brand sponsored channels.
Thank you very much for your efforts and time to showcase this fish room tour. 👍🏻
I love how people in the fish keeping community are so happy to help each other out.
Adrians fish room is something from my dreams.😍 Its truly stunning.
This will be a video I go back and watch over and over again. Loved this❤️
The modesty and devotion are touching and stand out in such a gloriously stunning room. I wish I had a an iota of his plumbing skills. And even the black worm culture tank is beautiful. So glad he welcomed us all in to share. Thank you both.
Adrian's collection is fabulous. Thanks so much to him for sharing, I hope you go back when his pond area is complete.
This is my dream fishroom. Well done Adrian 🇦🇺❤️
love the fish room 😍. he's living the lifestyle I'm going for. love it
That is the best video you've ever posted - and you've posted some awesome content. You are brilliant, and so is your channel (I'm a huge, huge fan). Adrian perhaps influenced part of where your passion came from ( I don't know)...so, so cool. Well done both of you. Adrian needs his own channel too! You two could collaborate until the cows (fish!) come home!
Adrian seriously needs to have his own channel! You two could do endless collaborations - would be super cool content.
Incredible. A man who has learned so much about his hobby and so much from it.
I think Ive watched half of the 85k views on this video. There's so much to see, and this is a fish room I'd want to keep. Natural looking, not sterile, but not dirty. Clean tanks.
One of the best videos in CZcams history 🐠❤
Amazing fishroom and awesome video. Nick not taking over the whole video and letting Adrian do majority of the talking is quite noticeable and great to watch. It shows how Nick is not here for the fame.🙌🏾👍🏽
Oh my goodness. This guy is sooooo amazing. The care, kindness, thoughtfulness and knowledge he puts into his art is stunning.
As a relatively new (3 years) fish keeper I found him to be a great source of information and ideas. He is so humble and kind. The care and passion is beautiful. I am so happy to have found him.
Want to learn how to keep fish from this guy he seems genuine and probably very patient .
He loves what he does!!
This is amazing! I'm in awe. Adrian has built a paradise. So much wisdom and the fish thriving and breeding.. pure joy to see. Thank you for bringing us to this tour Nick
What a great video! This guy knows what he's talking about on so many levels.
His trash can filter is a mini version of how a sewage/waste water treatment plant works.
I was seriously in constant awe of Adrian’s aquariums throughout this whole video. The plants were so beautiful and they added so much character to the room. You did a fantastic job documenting this, KFS! I’d love to see more content featuring hobbyists and their setups. Thank you!
People like him should be given funding for local, regional, state and national scale projects
This was seriously so beautiful!!! Thank you for the opportunity to see such wonderful tanks and fish!!
Hands down you have the most beautiful fish room I've ever seen and I watch a lot of aquarium videos...
Shell dwellers are hands down my favorite type of fish. I currently only have Similis, multies, and Brevis. I want to get more Brevis and eventually do some blue and gold ocelottus.
Btw, I think everyone should have an older fish friend in the hobby. I started a conversation with a fellow hobbyist on craigslist a few years ago. Now we talk and text everyday, go to fish shows together, trade plants and fry, and even hang out pretty regularly. I've learned from him, 20 years my senior, and he's learned from me.
One of my favourite fish room tours ever 😍
Just wanted to pull up a couch and chill in that room before having dinner in the chillest dining room ever... 🤣😍😍
Also, probably been said in the comments already,
the wet feet on the peace lilly thing is they don't like suffocating in wet soil. In a tank with high dissolved oxygen they will thrive. Leant that through aquaponics and things people say you can't grow with"wet feet".
Again this was awesome cheers 🍻
This fellas’ tanks/property/house are so cool!
Best fish room tour on CZcams I have ever seen hands down! Not the fish room itself but rather the presentation style and quality (fish room is nice too of course).
the quality and attention to detail in ALL of the tanks is absolutely incredible!!
That was one of the most interesting videos I ever saw on youtube. So entertaining, and it was such a pleasure listening to Adrian, I absolutely loved his collection, I could spend days there! Loved it, thank you both. You've made a new subscriber out of me!
This is the single greatest aquarium video of all time. I’ve watched everything in the past decade and this stands alone.
Hi Nick this is the best aquarium that I’ve ever seen. I have no ideas that it’s only found in Australia. The plant’s are so natural it was fascinated to watch in fact I was glued in my couch. Warm greetings from Melbourne I am newbie’s in this hobby I had a 50 gallon fish tank a community tank.
That’s not a hobby, that’s a life style! Awesome dedication! Thumbs up!
If this video had gone on for 24 hours it wouldn't have been a second too long. I absolutely loved every second of this masterclass in fishrooms aesthetics and plant filled living spaces. Just gorgeous!
Not just a hopbbyist's dream, but an aquaponic system as well! A true legend, and an inspiration to all people on how to care for and respect our natural world. That fish room is like a holy sanctuary.
Out of the many breathers I had seen from all over the world this guy is one of the few whom is actually creating the most close to natural environment for his fish. No wonder why he has in almost each thank;baby fish
Probably the best fish room tour I've ever seen. This should be a tutorial for every CZcamsr on how to conduct an interview, and how to video a fish room. Beautiful work!
A real treat to see this fishroom and the knowledge is incredible. I will have to watch this several times to absorb it. Thanks for showing a real hobbyists room.
Rick R
Incredible. My favorite video ever. That gentleman has exceeded anything I could have ever imagined. What a paradise. I can not grasp how much work and thought that went into this utopia but I am sure it never felt like work to him.
I would be remiss if I did not recognize and applaud how well you put this video together and just said enough to keep this amazing dialogue going.
Thank you both.
What an amazing tour around Adrian’s fish room, his outdoor ponds, birds and the tanks in his house.
The fish room is spectacular, the tank setups, the variety of fish, the amount of fish he showed that were breeding was fantastic to see for sure, and the use of plants for filtering the water in the tanks and braking up that clinical look is genius. The hour and 4mins just flew by listening to what he had to say as he was showing you around. 👍🏴
I love all his tanks, but I really loved watching him get less and less shy and more excited as the video went on. And that was a direct result of how calming you are. You're a good, smart, kid. And people can tell .
Respect for this brother who has been keeping fish for such a long period. Thank you for making such an effort and making this video, and we are able to know the beautiful story of this man and see his beautiful creations. Respect for both of you, I really can't express how soothing it was watching the video
This is one of the best room tours I’ve ever seen.Absolutely beautiful natural tanks-Stunning
Thanks for sharing! Love seeing long time keepers and having them share their successes with everyone
My favorite fishroom tour of all time. His mix of plants and fish is stunning
A real pleasure to be able to see such a nice room and a personable host.
What an incredible tour. Wow....what a setup, inside and out. What a cool, cool place and a great guy.
I am not into fish in the least, but I watched every single second. This man is a genius, and seemly so gentle. It’s funny how we enjoy something so much that the hobby becomes life itself. I was particularly impressed with all of his floating plants. What a beautiful beautiful temperate climate you live in!
Wow! Loved every second of this!
Best tour I have seen in a while..great video mate
I've been on and off with the hobby and strictly now just reef after starting with freshwater. This man just reminded me why I first got started. He exudes the feeling of someone with their first tank and that's special.
Off the charts great video - loved every minute of it.
Absolutely inspirational! So good to see people so passionate about this hobby. Love it
Thank you for the video, such a pleasure to watch and you can see the passion for fish in both of you . Well done 👏
Brilliant!! Thanks for sharing Nick!
One of the best fish rooms I’ve ever seen. I could watch this 24/7. Thanks for the tour
Absolutely loved it, the vibe of the room is fantastic
A Man with love and total devotion for the nature he just don't have fishes but also plants, Birds i just love him ❤️
Thank You For Introducting him to us .
I think I'm dreaming. Only those who truly love fishkeeping will understand this man and what drives him. I wish I could have a room like that. I get incredibly excited going into a fish room and I love breeding them. To see new life is so exciting!
what a in depth video! cheers nick
this is my favorite fish room tour, love the natural tanks that are not pristine but more accurately representing nature. I especially love all of the riparian plants! Thanks for this
Loved every second of it, Adrian is an amazing guy, so inspiring. Thanks Nick!
Fantastic - that was so good, thank you both !
This is the best fish room tour I've ever seen! I don't typically like them at all and this one had me hooked and a little jealous! The skill and dedication is obvious but I loved his terminology about other fish rooms being "too clinical" - that's exactly it! His tanks look so natural because he doesn't nit-pick, nature is imperfect and that's what makes it perfect. Love the use of natural materials he has prepared and harvested, love the use of plants and the ecosystems he has created without harsh over management or overuse of excessive tech. I also loved your skill as the camera man, and the way you asked questions but also let him show and explain. You didn't try to steal the spotlight and overshadow him but you had enough presence and asked questions on point!
I loved this! Thank you for sharing with us
This is probably one of my most favorite fish room tours and interviews. Amazing job, and keep up the great work!
This is so beautiful. That guy has made something really special. Love the acara that decided to relocate. So great. 💙💙💙💙🥲💎
I love it, the tanks, the plants, the ponds, and the bonsai tree. I love it all. Thank you for sharing this awesome tour video.
I don't think I've ever watched a full hour video on youtube and not either lost interest or just gave up on it, that was an awesome walkthrough! Truly an epic fishroom and setup as well as the knowledge obviously learned over a long period of experience trial and learning, super cool video mate 😁 one day I'll convice the wife to let me set up the garage like this (here's hoping 😂)
Ps. Very very very keen to see Eliza's works after the seeing these exceptional fish so I hope that comes to fruition 😁
Awesome Fishroom tour, I just loved this video. Thank you very much, I agree 💯 percent that you have to expand your knowledge intake through clubs and books other than just CZcams. Nothing but love and respect from the US
one of your best vids, nice too see how full circle his work and home is.
Absolutely loved the video. This has to be my favourite "fish room" tour I've seen yet. The two rows of tanks next to the 8ft are amazing.
I love this video! It started automatically after I was watching videos about the Nitrogen cycle. I didn't plan on watching it when it started but after a few minutes I couldn't stop! Thank you Adrian for letting us into your home to see your amazing setup and collection. I never gave it a second thought about where in the world my favourite fish originated but I find it fascinating! Thank you for adding to my interest in this hobby!
I could watch this tour over and over! Beautiful tanks! Excellent video and interview techique!
What a fantastic video! Loved it.
I was glued to this video, really great & so informative
That was a wonderful video! Loved seeing all his different Tanganyika cichlids. Fascinating fish room. Keep up the good work!
That is an impressive fish room! Adrian is onto it, those plants! Thanks for making this video
Brilliant video and some stunning set ups there I could watch this all day.
Love the way u explain, hope the substrate video comes soon, thx for sharing
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, some great insights
Wonderful video. Great job mate!
