Love you!
are you sure ?
@@jimjones7821 He is 100% correct. Catch limit in QLD is just the normal fishing catch limit per species.
@@Flyingdinosaur69 Good to know. So he is NOT a poacher ;0
So true
I really wish Adrian had a CZcams channel. He’s such a likeable guy and seems to have so much useful knowledge to spread.
Yeah, you have good point there!
@@adrianjakobsen6344 💕
They are causing irreparable harm & they are NOT permitted to take from the natural environment & keep as pets! I've left several other comments - worth looking for them
As an acquascaper.. this is heaven..😭😭😭
And I wish I have friends who wants hobbies like this..
just go by yourself...nothing wrong with enjoying nature by yourself :)
Where u from?
Sameeee
I’m in the same boat. Found this channel yesterday, and I’m in Brisbane! 😂

Jason Sulda is a wealth of knowledge on Australian nature and his photos have inspired a new art series in the works!
Thank you! I look forward to seeing your new art 🙂
My man is a whole new level of brave, walking barefoot in australia
Whoever reading this. I pray that whatever you are going through get better and what ever you struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine. And that everyone has a fantastic day. Amen.
Thanks but go away.
Thank you 🙏
Best to you too ❤
Ok bot
Thanks very much for sharing David. Love watching all your great videos!
Great video Nick I enjoyed watching that, it was really nicely edited and was a great day, I'm happy you enjoyed the little adventure, it was sad to see how much destruction the floods had on the last two places, QLD. Water were working hard to establish the Val beds ad this would of been really disheartening to them, but the river always comes back eventually, Thanks for the fun day I had with you and all your friends and a big Thanks to Kaity for supplying lunch, looking forward to our next adventure 🙂
AMAZING video! This was well worth the wait. The editing is absolutely incredible and captured the day perfectly. Such a fun day. And that is so funny James got that catfish on video 😂
Love yours too Kaity!
Feels more personal, I mean vlog
@@helloaldrian thank you ❤️
What a wholesome trip this must have been for all of you! Thanks for this awesome quality content!
So true awesome
he is literally taking living beeings out of their home / natural habitat just so he can sell them for 30dollars and they live their lifes in fukcing shit captivity or die right away NICE ;)
It's great to see young people who understand the wonderful resource that older people can be.
Hi, it,s Mac from England. I really enjoyed the video, 30 years ago when my childrens were just kids we used to go to a river where there would be 20 or so kids in it useing hand nets to catch minnows and sticklebacks but 10 years ago I took my grandson there and there wasnt any fish < they had been mostly killed off by farmers who put pesticides on their crops but when it rained the poison ran off into the river and killed off the eco system. I have 2 ponds in my garden, 1 with goldfish of various kinds and the other is a wild pond with frogs, tadpoles, toads, and newts. we have dragonflies in the summer months plus allsorts of insects in the pond. I look forward to your next video. all the best, Mac.
You are so lucky to live somewhere so beautiful. Keep up the good content.
One of your best videos really enjoyed seeing the Rainbow fish in their natural habitat.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m the bald old guy that watches fish videos while looking after my father in laws grandchildren, love ya work bud👅

“Aw the smell is so nice, just like the air.”
*big ass rip*
😂
Awesome video, Australia is very beautiful, it was so cool to see so many rainbows in their natural environment!!!
After all the yrs of fantasizing a move to Australia your vids illustrates the complete reason for the fantasy. The birds too. It's a must watch more than once to absorb it all. Just love it.
Awesome pictures. Thanks to you all. Have just subscribed to @australianbiotopes and off to watch Kaity’s video too. Great to see such strong populations in our local waterways.
Super video, so enjoyable, so beautiful.
I didn't even know that Australia had a rainforest, this is pretty cool.
nick i already sew kaity channel and was waiting for soooooooooo long for you to post your version of the vedio i would love to go fish collecting but i live in antigua
We love you Nick
It was -4 below 0 Fahrenheit when I woke up. I love winter but, uck! This video was a little escape from the cold!
This is what I do in my spare time. It's my time alone when I feel at peace most, away from everything else. ❤
This was perfection! It looks like you had a blast. Those ecosystems were so beautiful.
Thank you for sharing with us your adventure! I would love to see more of these in the future.
Nice video best video this year on fish on CZcams.
Nick, crazy AWESOME....THANKS
I enjoyed seeing the Rainbow fish in their natural habitat. 👍
I like the glass fish 🤠🤙
Rainbows are some of my fav freshwater fish! So amazing to see them in their natural habitat!
Spectacular shots of ecosystem. Couldn't ask for more. You guys are doing a fabolous job. Love you guys.
Back in the early 80's I would go with Steve Bains into Dayboro and Samford area and catch and release rainbows, swords, red swords, and then we found tilapia in the creeks, around 1983 ish.
It's nice to see where some of the aquarium fish I see at stores come from. I live in America and go out to observe our native fish but I don't see videos about it from other countries often. Thanks for the awesome footage.
Beautiful. Glad you guys have such an appreciation for your local wildlife.
IT WAS AN SUPER VIDEO I LIKED THE FISHES, THE TREE, THE RIVER ALL THE THING THAT ARE INCLUDED IN NATURE❤️.NICE VIDEO THANKS FOR IT ☺️
This is beautiful. I will keep buying Bug Buffet to support!
So beautiful landscape and creek! Thank you for sharing
Great vid. Love that youthful naivety* and positive attitude. (*not a criticism). Im a couple of hours up the road but I'll definitely take the kids on a drive to those lookouts.
Really enjoy all your videos. Love Australia.
What a wholesome trip. Pleas do more! I really enjoyed this video.
Wow. No words. Stunning. Amazing. Beautiful. Magical.
Thank you! I really enjoyed this.
Tremendous video! I'm living vicariously through you guys right now. We're having a blizzard here: 9 degrees below zero, 40 mph winds, a real arctic storm. Nice escape watching your video, thank you. Greetings from Indiana, USA.
Gosh Australia is so beautiful. My country India is beautiful too
But there's too much population. We too have so many locations like that here but it's full of people. Your country is amazing. Keep it that way
That ute is so epic! What a set up. It's miles ahead of what I used back when I did aquarium fish harvesting back in 2005-2007. all I had was a Ford aerostar, with some big plastic tubs in the back, and an inverter to run air pumps, and stones. But the guy I worked with had the van custom air brushed, with scenes from shallow Hawaiian reefs. So that was pretty cool
I really love seeing these kinds of videos. Seeing what the habitat looks like is very educationally and enjoyable. Thanks! I would love to see more.
Cool video! Thanks for making it, I love Doublayi Rainbows!
Beautiful water shots. Construction equipment looks like they're going to be doing road work with the grader and road reclaimer.
Epic knowing such pristine aquatic environments are a stone's throw from bris. Well filmed thanks guys
great watch!! love this video, yes more please!!! - Love the knowledge you dropped about conservation efforts and issues with the habitats.
The adventure is great.
"smell is so nice" cut to ol mate blowing his ciggy haha
Also the species of yabby is the red claw crawfish
(Quite tasty too)
Imagine preserving rainforest globally. For the benefit of the planet and mankind. Simply being there must be magical.
Hey Nick. It's the first time I have commented in a long while. Just want to say I'm still here and still being inspired. Thanks for your help, my fish are breeding now and healthy as ever thanks to you. Loved the video as always, I did get a little snea peek from Kaity's video but tbh you topped the cake. you have always been so professional but damn the change from your old videos to these new ones are insane. that editing and video shots are crazy good! i also recently visited a creek similar to these and found heeps of val beds, sucks that spot had been tso run down so much, specially for those lungfish
Thanks so much for sticking around Lachie! So awesome to have you as a follower 🐟
Really enjoyed watching your video..
Thanks for sharing!
Mt Nebo/Glorious is the gift that keeps giving. Such a great video and so good to see one of my favourite places up close on camera
now that EVERYBODY knows where this is - there won't be a fish, a yabbie, a plant left in that stream or others nearby. Everybody will want what's there & it will be stripped entirely. This is a VERY BAD THING they're doing!
Amazing video! Love seeing your little group of fishkeeping buddies go on this adventure and I hope to see many more! Thank you 😊
Ive been watching your videos but i clicked on this just because you have such a cute smile! You seem very sweet and i love your passion and care for animals
Loved this video Nick, seeing you first explore, catch then have fun made it feel like we were on the journey with you. I am super inspired by this video on the fish and systems I want to keep!
As always well done! Nice to see the landscape in that part of Australia!! A terrific New Year to you!
I miss this so much, used to do a lot many years ago… thanks for taking me along, loved it!❤️🇦🇺
I have kept freshwater fish for going on 50 years. I have a 75 gallon today with assorted rainbows. Rainbows are my favorite.
Thanks for taking us on an adventure. Australia's wildlife and nature are so beautiful!
6:39 I like how he says the air is nice and fresh, then cuts to him walking behind the guy blowing a huge cloud of cig smoke 😂
What a beautiful place to be able to go do this and see where these fish come from and their natural habitat. Thank you for sharing this and taking us on this journey with you. I know I don't comment often but I do watch all your videos nd love them.
Great channel with great vids!
Thank you for taking us along on your adventure, thank you. I am glad you got to have some fun!
Great change of pace for us viewers as well. Beautiful land! Inspirational footage. Nice job!
Amazing! More adventures like this would be nice
Yes, more videos like this! Great video, thank you!
As someone who want to have a small fish business and who’s favorite FW fish are Rainbows….your channel has been giving me life lately. Love your content🐟💙
constantly taking from the environment will eventually cause extinction - why can't the prevention of that be a priority?? It's all about 'I want' - that's the trouble.
This is just so amazing! That's the kind of adventure I really, really would like to go on. Thank you so much for sharing!
What a group of talented, smart induvials!
All of these locations are beautiful, I would never want to leave.
I absolutely love your videos, I love seeing how you take care of your fish. You are the one that inspired me to put up my aquarium again. Those Australian forest your went to were absolutely gorgeous. Keep up the good work. Your so lucky your in Australia. I wish I was there too. I love in Florida. We have amazing fish here in our lakes too.
I loved this vid, and would totally watch more of you exploring native habitats and species.
Absolutely love this. Amazing video and so informative.
Nick, that was incredible. I honestly can’t think of another video that I have enjoyed more than this one.
Thank you Darryl!!!
Great Video, loved seeing all of these beautiful parts of Australia.
This was amazing! I'm from northern Europe and for me it was so interesting to just see Australian nature, especially the part of nature in which I as an aquarium enthusiast am the most interested in. Would definitely like to see more videos like this! :)
Absolutely amazing video nick! Very very professionally done!. Such beautiful areas of natural you visited. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great video! Love seeing the fish in their natural habitats.
Hey Nick what a great trip. So jealous, thanks for sharing.

Amazing to see where all the fishes we keep come frome! Thanks
Hey there Bud. Really cool video. I am glad nothing ate you during your little walkabout teehee...
GREAT VIDEO OF NATURE :)
THANK YOU FOR SHARING :)
GOOD LUCK WITH THE BREEDING :)
THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL :)
brilliant stuff.. love the idea of local fish breeders spreading local fish species back into the aquarium hobby.
Thank you Jason, for all the work you do. Thank you Nick, for the amazing video; glad you got out of the store and had some fun. Australia is beautiful. Happy Holidays
Thank you for your kind words 🙂
Walking creeks and rivers for driftwood is great, have scored some stunning pieces from sections through the Finke and Hugh rivers around Alice Springs
the fish are really beautiful😊
Love these style videos, always great to see the natural habitats of fish!
Man, I love Australia.
Fantastic! Looks like “heaps” of fun!
Here in the states we have parks like this but they all have different rules, like whether or not you can take things from them too but taking drift wood could help prevent brush fires as that is a big issue here.
Lovely presentation, thoroughly enjoyed the whole video and admired the knowledge and respect shown by all concerned.
Nice man! Living the dream! Congrats!
Australian bushland is so beautiful
Really enjoyed watching this. Thanks for sharing it.
