This was day 4 of our road trip from FL - Vancouver Canada where we get on a cruise and sail the inside passage of Alaska. Then road trip home a different way seeing different stuff!
Day 4 Miles 314m/505km about 5 hours of drive time.
We also went to Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD then to Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD we will show in the next 2 videos.

The Missouri River Valley was a very nice overlook. The sunset ridge trail looked like a nice hike too. The park looks like a hidden gem in Iowa.
Yeah the Missouri River lol, I cant believe I said that wrong while editing, lol. oh well, live and learn right haha. The park was so nice to see in Iowa since its a relatively flat state. :)

Waubonsie state park looks so nice! Cool its from 1926 and love hearing about its history with Native American culture. Cool its on the Lewis and Clark National historic trail! Beautiful views here too from the hills. Cool these hills are only there and in China. Love the adorable bunny eating! Lovely flowers! Love all the picnic tables. Another fantastic adventure :)

Thanks Steve! It was a great little park! I agree the kids need that outdoor playtime. We have electronics as well, we are guilty but we do try to get outside everyday even if it just for a small walk :) Take care friends!

We've stayed in Iowa a couple times. But never in one of their state parks. I appreciate you giving a little bit of info about the campground. Love that view. Very nice! How awesome that the trail runs alongside the view. Hmmm wonder what the building is? Maybe old root cellar? This looks like a very nice park to visit. Thanks for sharing.

You were not in the Mississippi River valley, you were in the Missouri River valley. OMG...🙄
Fun fact: I'm looking at the Mississippi River right now, in Wisconsin looking at Iowa. You were on the opposite side of Iowa.

They are pronounced the Luss hills. It is the Missouri river valley, not the Mississippi river.
