This was Day 3 of our road trip from FL to Vancouver, Canada, where we get on a Celebrity Cruise and sail the inside passage of Alaska.
Day 3: 414 miles/ 665km
Started our day in O'Fallon, IL, traveled through Missouri, visited the awesome Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, then ended our day in Percival, IA.

Rock Bridge Memorial state park looks so beautiful! I've never been to Missouri. Love that there are picnic tables as I love a good picnic. Cool that you can do cross country skiing in the winter. Beautiful spot to go hiking. Those caves are so cool! So eerie but so beautiful to explore. Cool that the dam is still there from the 1800s! Another fantastic tour and adventure :) Thanks for bringing us along!!

Yes good out of tragedy thats exactly right. This land was open to the public by the original owners, so people would come here and enjoy themselves, but then that sad day happened :( But now the land is protected, thanks so much for watching and commenting!
We did this park a couple years ago. It is a great park. Definitely a good amount of hiking in the park. In case anyone is curious, all of our MO state parks are free to enter. Camping does have a fee. And some historic buildings may require a fee. But most activities can be done free of charge in our awesome parks.
