Your honesty in acknowledging your mistakes and struggles with mobile home rebuild and your humility in asking for ideas and not claiming to know it all is refreshing. Have a nice day!
Hi Douglas and Eevee - Love Eevee’s new name and the new channel! Absolutely fantastic idea to share more about you and your DIYferrent family! Good luck and take care!
Thank you Eevee and Doug for sharing another great video. I like your new channel as well.
Hi!! Never been a first to view on any video! 😊 Enjoying watching the process! Have a good day!
Two kinds of people…. The ones who see a problem as a challenge and persevere. And those who decide the problem is too hard and let someone else figure it out. U two always rise to the challenge and kick its butt and I always learn something. I’m never disappointed.
Doug & Eevee, that is such hard work and you both are doing such a good job getting the work done. You are so close to a finished ceiling, then the rooms can start coming together!
Who’s evee
I like the look of the ceiling, looks great! Great job! Thank you Doug and Eevee 😊❤🤗 much love everyone.
Why doesn't that old guy at the back help you? Ha ha ha ! Just like my brother in law - just another talking head!! That is a tough job- working over your head. Great idea with the drywall tape. Always learning new stuff from you guys!!
Ya, that old guy is such a watcher😂😂😂😂
😂 lol too funny 😅
Good idea with the tape, but here is another cheaper solution: use 8’ dowel rods in the open fretwork of your trusses to hold the insulation in place. Once you attach the ceiling you can just slide the dowels to the next section
The mesh drywall tape was an EXCELLENT hack! Love y’all.
Eevee I love your look at the end of this video! You look fantastic! Thank you for the video! Your progress is going well! ❤❤❤
Great idea with tape! Please wear safety glasses Doug ,
Wow - talk about having to think about everything 🤔 ! I like your solution to keeping the insulation batten up 👍
Eevee - loving the bangs , cool glasses and the new name ❤. You seem more confident somehow… like you’ve found a part of yourself that makes you feel happier ! I’m gonna say it : a rose 🌹 by any other name still smells as sweet !!! 😘❤️😘
I love the way your minds work. That solution was so clever!! Ceiling looks great.
Wow! I know that was a hard job, but you guys made it look almost easy. I knew you all would come up with an easier solution to hold the insulation. But it was still hard. The house is looking so good! I get so excited watching you all work together. I know we don’t see all that you do, but I know you make everything work out. I know this house will be beautiful when you are done. Thank you for taking me along on your journey. Until next time❤.
Yankee ingenuity with that tape! Especially having it hanging and ready to staple!
Genius!!!!!!! You and Eevee make a great team.
Love that ceiling choice!! I giggled hearing Doug say Eevee! Still getting used to that....but I'll get there 😉😗
The house is slowly, but surely coming to life! The installation of the ceiling really changed the look of the place, I'm sure it'll look even better once the rest of the ceiling and walls are installed.
I certainly appreciate Eevee and Doug's ongoing quest for knowledge. They never cease doing research and learning about new techniques to accomplish their goals. Being open minded about new techniques is the sign of a person that's receptive to personal growth. Much respect! And always such attention to detail! Wonderful role models for Belle and Maverick - and for viewers that are receptive to personal growth.
I have headed several mobiles over the years as investment property's, I was laughed at back then as mobile homes are in such a way that demands a lot of time and dedication compared to the typical stick house with little equity in them when finished. Yet, I had to start where I could with my portfolio. Yet recently, I have been impressed in that the mobiles have a much higher resale value then previously. Not to mention the rent money I have gotten from them. This rehab is worth your while, as by the time it's finished, will have value if you ever need to resale!
I worked for an insulating co. and would have to unload rail cars by hand. When I got home my clothes went straight into the washer and then I took a hot shower to open my pores, soaped up then rinsed in cold water to close my pores and force any insulation out, then a warm water rinse. It worked. lol
I'm really surprised how great the ceiling looks. Your R faster is going to be more than enough. Great job Doug an Evee 😊.....hugs
Love the multiple rows of tape .. seems like a great idea.
The Eevee vs Ashley will take time to get used to.
Way to go Doug on keeping your promise of trying to ensure calling your wife by her preferred name
Worked well with the tape, ceilings are always harder to do, tough on the arms and neck. You both did well.
As usual, Eevee goes with some solid fashion choices.
The word for today-INOVATION. “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”. Good job. Love the top Ashley, colors enhance you.
I think the tape is a great idea for your situation. I like the texture of the OSB. That's going to look great!
Good morning. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Things are coming along. Love the other channel too!😍
Other channel? Oh man I am really out of the loop. Other channel, name change. I've been too busy in real life!

Great idea to hold up insulation Mr Doug!! Looking great Mr Doug & Ms Ashley!!
She changed her name
I missed the name change, reading comments I was like why is everyone calling Ashley Eevee? What the heck. Lol
@@hannakinn explanation is on their other channel❤
@@cheyennemockobee6854 I found it subscribed, watched all of the videos there. I'm all caught up and in the loop. Thank you guys!
Hello Doug and Eve, creative solutions are always fun to watch. Your videos are motivating to me, to make changes in my rental apartment.
My wife says that you're a super thinker
I really like my roto tool. It makes short work of those drywall jobs, especially when they require something other than round holes. It can also be used ( with the proper bit ) to cut odd shape and depth in wood. I found out one thing the hard way: I was cutting a hole for a junction box in the garage drywall when I hit some conduit. The bit broke and flew directly to my eye with a LOT of force. Fortunately, I was wearing eye protection which I had to change (along with my underwear) because the broken bit was protruding on the eye side of the plastic lens. Don't be a bad example to your audience. WEAR EYE PROTECTION!
I LIKE WATCHING HOW WELL YOU TWO WORK TOGETHER, ACCOMPLISHING SO MUCH. GREAT JOB
It looks so good, Doug and Eevee. Y'all always do great work
Great idea Doug, I ve been in that situation before and never taught about using that tape, lol
Good Morning Doug Ashley Belle & Maverick, you have come so far on this M/H.So enjoy watching the progress!❤️
Great looking job Eevee and Doug, you always do awesome work on your projects 🎉❤
Hi Eevee and Doug! This is the earliest I think I’ve ever caught a video drop!!❤
The solution for holding the insulation in place was what I was thinking would work. Looks like you made good progress with minimal frustration.
Hi Doug and Eevee. Found your new channel. Bravo to you both.
New channel????
No push-ups for you Eevee, you're doing enough.
Love the wood grain on the ceiling
The mobile home is really coming along, Ashely your shirt is really pretty. God bless you guys🦋🍓🤗
Doug , I think you should take a your scrap wood and build you a pair of platform shoe risers. Just put straps on the wood. Just make sure you make then wider than your shoes. Well worth saving your arms, neck, shoulders, and back. It sounds nuts, but you will be happy you made them. ❤
Eevee is the best helper and she always has your back!
Hi Doug @ Evee you are both always hard at work and great team effort 😊🇦🇺 from Australia ❤
Love Eevee’s name
What a great, novel and economical way to hold that insulation in place! Love your ingenuity!
Looking great, Doug & Evee. God bless stay safe n well Family.
With all the white and clean surfaces I can envision a great looking finished home.
Just putting the ceiling up has made such a big difference in this home and I really like the wood grain look. Great job!
Evee seems more confident and sparkly now that she’s not Ashley any more!
You’re like Macgyver, always adapting! I enjoy your content! Thanks Doug and Eevee!
You two continue to inspire me, and so many others. Ashley…..Eevee….I think you are brave. Keep doing what you’re doing, I’m still watching. 😊
Once again, you two have figured it out and made the job easier. By the way, Eevee, your name suits you!
Sorry to laugh, but 18:15 "I'm cutting thru the metal. It's such a strong blade. I broke the blade." Glad to know this stuff happens to others, too.
The place is looking good and we all make mistakes Doug and hubby said great call on the hole saw, remember one steep at a time ❤️🇨🇦
Honestly, the mesh tape is genius! That, along with some duct tape to hold it the rafters, might work perfectly!!
Still getting used to "Eevee" since it's been so many years now lol (Doug, I feel your struggle), but I'm forcing myself to remember!! 😉
What a super solution! And it adds no extra weight!
Great idea for holding the insulation. I will add that to my bag of tricks
Hello, Doug and Ashley, I noticed you were struggling a bit with installing your ceiling insulation. I wanted to share a method that worked well for me. Maybe it could work for you as well. I utilized 3, 5-foot-long thin strips of wood (the extra foot was to be able to grab the strips) which I laid on top of the lower section of roof rafter which held up the insulation until I fastened the drywall to the rafter. Once I had attached the drywall, I then slid the strips into the next bays to repeat the process. This worked very well for me and also reduced using any additional products. Good luck with your renovations. John G. From Florida.
That's a really smart way. Thanks!
The space is looking fantastic!!! 🥰🎶❤️🎶🌻🎶🏡🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I was going to suggest construction tape. It is so sticky it will stick to anything and it's very strong.
Thanks for the screw explanation. I'm always learning from you.❤
That's gonna be a better quality than a new mobile home.
About 15 years ago I redid a 1976 mobile home and I loved it. You can rehad them to your liking and style. I still to this day miss that home. I think it makes you appreciate it more cause you do the work yourself. I think You and your family will love and appreciate your hard work. Much love from Kentucky.
Eevee looks so happy and confident since the name change! 💗
Glad you found a solution. It must have been so frustrating for you.
Good morning Doug & Eevee ❤ & Kids
Great work guys, have a great day. 🎉
*** THIS Is my Favorite part!! when all the months of bare bones and the ceiling goes up.. What a remarkable difference. Glad you figured out that darn insulation.. =D
Doug,, you and Eevee are the best teammates ❤️ workmates ❤EVER! 😊❤
Eevee, you look adorable in the skirt and t-shirt. See you guys next time on your channels.
Oh gosh this is looking so great, also so happy that this insulation is not really itchy when you push it up there. I also noticed a tiny strip down the middle of the ceiling that the boards are not tight up agains those and I thinking you're going to get a wood strip to place down the middle of that which will look really pretty. Also Ashley you were a great helper pushing up that insulation and holing it as Doug stapled that tape up there. Thanks for sharing another wonderful video that was a lot of fun to watch. I hope that you all have a beautiful and blessed rest of your day, have some great rest, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰🤗👏👍👍💜💜💜
It's ok. Live and let learn I say.
Have a wonderful day 💖
The fibreglass tape was a good idea! Looking good folks.
I like the ceiling panels. Such an creative idea.
What I would recommend is the banding that you would put around packaging. It’s plastic and strong. You can buy rolls of it. I have used it myself in situations like yours. Easy to put staples or nails into it.
I love Ashley’s blouse!
GOOD JOB you guys! I love the roof inside! That looks awesome!
How smart is that to pull tape from one section to another. 😊 (straight across). Perfecto! Things are looking really good. Evie?
EEVEE
Great work. Great solution for the falling insulation. Looks fantastic.
In a family members early 1960s built home when they had the basement ceiling, the underside of their first floor living space, insulated in the 1970s (to save on heating costs) the installers used these thin lengths of wire in with 45 degree cuts on the end to hold up the insullation. The ends of the wires dig into the wood. It's almost 50 years later and nothing has fallen and the insulation is still fluffy, not compresses and looks great in the portion of the basement that wasn't turned into a guest apartment in 2012. Those insulation bat holder wires work well!
Y’all are some smart cookies. Looking good A+
its looking awesome, your work is paying off.....
You look good in that cute skirt Eevee . Smart approach to DIYing as Always guys!
Bell the supervisor is doing a great job, keep it going, Bell.

It's very satisfying to watch all those panels go up. Great job guys! :)
Nice teamwork again! Sacrificing for Eevee, admirable! Take care!
I am impressed - ingenuity and perseverance should be your second names!
I love Ashely’s shirt!!! It’s cute
That is going to be a very clean old trailer. Better than a new one way better.
You guys always come up with an amazing solution! Thank you for sharing! Keep up the great work!
Hello, Doug and EEVEE! :-)
You guys are finally starting to get fast I'm seeing a lot of progress looking good
Slow and steady wins the race. They're not doing this turn a quick profit, so a steady pace is just fine. Meticulous, actually, and I'm here for it! 😁😊
Good morning! 🐩🌻🌴
I love your outside the box solutions for problems. Doug and Eevee, you are Renaissance type thinkers.
