It may seem that Ashley handing off screws is an unnecessary thing, but let me say that in my recent repairs I would have loved to have someone holding and handing off the hardware. Would have saved me so much time. All help is necessary especially when ur a power duo like u two r. It’s all coming together. And just like that it started looking like a home.

I just moved into an old Beat to Death mobile home all of the outside is rotten everything around the windows is rotten pretty much everything is rotten the water heater door has fallen off on the outside so that's why I enjoy watching your projects so I can learn how to fix it
Very much enjoy your videos and your ingenuity working around standard building practices. Also noticed how much Maverick wants to learn from you on what you are doing. I think he will become your right hand helper as he learns more.
Can I just take a moment to say what a blessing your channel has been to me? I've been watching your channel since you renovated the mobile home/garage site with the schoolhouse building on the property (and the cats). Your pause and think method of doing things has really opened my eyes to alternative ways to get a task done. Now, as I'm faced with major repairs to my home, even though I am NOT doing all of the work myself, I am able to save money time and again by referencing your many unique solutions. That's no small thing as I try and conserve limited resources. Whether it's finding supplies on clearance, utilizing tub surrounds (rather than tile), or sourcing discounted flooring, doing these things is giving me finishes that I will enjoy for years to come while feeling confident in my choices. THANK YOU for sharing your projects!

Wow, great progress.. the cooler temperatures always help! Excited for that layout!! 😃 rest those arms, that overhead work is the hardest! I tried along with my parents years ago to put up drywall in my little house and we couldn’t even do one sheet overhead, it is ridiculously heavy. Needless to say, they hired someone to do it because there was no way we could. 😊

. started recalling memories of my grandparent's story about the building of their their homes and the houes they grow up in. It may be easier because of better tool's today. But meeting regulation can make it a lot more consuming. Know a bit about how kids think today they should be mandated to watch this program and learn what really makes a house happen and why one needs to take care of them. Punching holes in walls, pulling doors off cabinets , and allowing crude to accumulate is ruining the house you call home. I invision my great grandmother sweeping sweeping dirt flowers in thier sod home until great grand grandad finish farming each day and had some time to put down the wood flooring. We are to lazy and ignorant these days. Dug and Ashly, get a good shower, clean clothes, hearty mealtime and love time with your kids.

It looks fantastic! You kids are such hard working people!!! Today was a killer for your arms!! Eevee won’t even be able to lift her little arms in the morning! For those that have never done that kind of work, it is excruciating after a while. I don’t know how she does it being so tiny. She is a great helpmate. You guys work great together. That ceiling makes it look twice as long to me, but I love it! Until next time.

Anyway, everything is looking great! I don't know how you guys push through and keep working even when it's hot. I live in Phoenix Arizona, born and raised and I don't do heat, period. You might think I'd be used to it, but I'm not. So in my opinion you should give yourself an extra pat on the back.

As I watch you work, and the music you used from an orchestra-the work just flowed (in the video) so nicely. It made me think of all the hard work that goes into making an orchestra shine, you all carry that over into your work and cooperation to do this work and make these videos. It’s a wonderful thing to witness.
And by the way, can’t Stan help with some of this? Like holding up insulation or tidying up the work space? When is he going to do more than just supervise? You guys are so patient with him.

I'd been thinking about how you hadn't had any obstacles in this video until, oops, there it was but it was conquered.
