So Hyang said in a rare interview that she graced a CZcams vocal coach from Turkey (Emre Yucelen)
with that the most difficult song she ever performed is "Everyone" and her reason was sustaining her
breath .. among her fans "Everyone" is One of her very best song but Arirang Alone with her Bb5 mixed
belt is her signature Note .. in all honesty all her songs are amazing in their own right ...
She also has diversity in genre's aside from CCM and Ballads even Rock (Mona Lisa) and HipHop/Rap
(Day Day) from the original S. Korean show King of Masked Singer. Lastly she is also an Author of
Several Fantasy Novels, and 3 children books...and right now is working on writing a 3 piece(set)novel....and hopes
to write a screenplay one day
She´s a multitalented, a super woman

Thank you for your heartfelt, emotional reactions to SoHyang: "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "Everyone." Her technical brilliance is matched by her ability to touch the listeners soul. I am one of the least "religious" people I know. I am an animist. I am also a retired feminist anthropologist. As such I believe that every living thing has a "soul." I do not believe in monotheistic or polytheistic "gods." I recognize SoHyang believes in a monotheistic Christian god but I also recognize her desire and ability to reach out and touch our souls.

Epic!!! Arguably the most technically challenging and emotional song she has ever sang. Seven minutes of intense stamina and breath control. When she spoke she said: "when I'm lonely, who will comfort me? It's you (everyone)". Thank you for the reaction.
What more can be said about the Queen she is our gift from God let's enjoy her while we can!!

Very few singers, male or female, can sing (and belt) at that intensity and emotion for so long and still keep the integrity of the song. Then to cap it all she throws in a perfect acapela section. Sohyang is seriously off the scale......... mind blowingly good!

Thank you for reacting to Sohyang. She's known for her wonderful technique and absolute control over her voice. This song was probably the hardest for her to sing because of the breath control needed. I believe she was sick at the time too. There's a video of this performance which has English subtitles that explains how emotional, inspiring and touching this particular song really is.
It would be great if you could check out Park Hyo-Shin. He's a soloist and musical theatre actor who is beloved by the Korean people. He's considered to have one of the most emotional voices and is often called the "King of ballads". Another one of his nicknames is "Park Hyo, god". It's due to his powerful and emotional voice as well as the fact that "shin" in Korean means "god". 😂 Like Sohyang, Hyo-Shin has endured many tragedies, including suffering from vocal dysphonia where it can make talking and even swallowing, let alone singing, very difficult. When he sings, you can hear a pin drop in the audience. Please check out his song, "Wild Flower". What a great reaction. I believe Sohyang brings tears to everyone's eyes. She always brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. "Everyone" is the Mona Lisa, Ave Maria and Ode To Joy rolled into one. Not only was this 7 minute song a masterclass but a masterpiece of music. I can't comprehend anybody covering this song the way Sohyang did. In the beginning, God, first created Man but wasn't satisfied so He created Woman and declared everything perfect. God, in His infinite wisdom, saw that we need a man and a woman singer to reveal a special glimpse of heaven. Of course these two singers are Sohyang and Dimash. Both singers extraordinaire. You should listen to this song again with English subtitles (VIMEO). The words are very moving and makes the meaning of the song so much more poignant. It's through CZcams that I and many are blessed to listen to this remarkable singer. Consider listening to her performance "You Raise Me Up"; an incredible performance when she was actually ill.
shes such a queen..her, Dimash, and Angelina Jordan are on their own separate tiers. One of my favs from her
She practiced hundreds of times and lay down for a few days after the performance. It's like a stage that burned everything. Singing live with a soft body for 7 minutes and 16 seconds is touching and amazing.

I remember when I first saw this episode of Immortal Songs 2, it was a sad day for So Hyang, Cho Yong Jin, and Son Seung Yeon. Three of S. Korea's powerhouses who didn’t win, either one should have won that night but they gave it to some guy who IMO was awful.
