I've spent more time trying to justify bad car purchases more than most people. So much so that I THINK I found some that need to come back as a new car. Like, seriously. The world doesn't need more sport coupes, it needs an ugly 4 door FWD turbo again..Or a V12 VW Sedan that noone will buy. What're your thoughts? Let me know below, don't forget to subscribe and we'll see you tomorrow!
I could seriously go for some subs & follow right about meow, so see the links below:

100 likes and ill buy a Phaeton, that’s it. 🎉
Fr?
In the near future? 👀
Well, you have the 100 likes now, so where pheaton, and i recommend you the v10 tdi one
The Mazda Rx8 is super slept on and 100% deserves more love
Mitsubishi Galant VR4 is like a 3000gt mixed with angry evo estetics, super underapreteatded
As a E55 owner, it’s nice to see it getting the recognition it deserves :)
I need another one asap but no space :(
Full sized sedans need to come back. Basically having a love seat and a couple lazy boys in a car is peak comfort.
Buick boys calling in
and wagons as a whole need to come back I mean its the same car but with a fat a**
@@willr6798 The Caprice wagon may be my favorite
Like the Maybach 62 Landaulet?
Hear me out
Toyota MR2 and or the Celica... especially considering they don't have a cool 4 wheel drive sports car anymore. Those two were iconic and with the GR program making cool cars like the yaris gr or corrola gr i think a modernized mr2 would be absolutely awesome
i was gon say MR2 (maybe a lil bias BUT i want a TRUE midengined drivers car and everything thats being currently produced is LACKING
The GTFour was one of my favorite cars way back in the day. Didn't really think much of it when making this but I think you have a point hehe
@@AlexMartini. dont ignore the superior drivers car thats lameeee
Those are both already confirmed to be in the works, so congratulations 🎊
Mazda MPV's were "the thing" when I was a kid. In 1990, my parents and two of my friends' parents each bought one in the era when everyone's family had a Dodge Caravan (only one person in my class had a Toyota Previa). Lots of great memories with the MPV. 😎👍
idk, all major brands fckd up reboots, look at Mitsubishi with the Evo X and the Eclipse and Eclipse Crossport, or Ford's Maverick as a truck now, or Dodges Hornet which used to be a cool lightweight muscle car, dunno if Manufacturers would do a second run justice especially with the EPA
The desecration of the Hornet name makes me violently mad
I think the Evo X is fine, Everything else though absolutely
Commodores need a comeback, and GM needs to start making it again. But give it a really nice interior and make it a genesis g70 competitor in price. I too love big v8 sedans, but i want them to run on bald eagles too and not just saurkraut. Don't get me wrong, if price weren't an issue id own a 6.2L E63, just for sound alone, but i gotta have me my LS/LT engines. America is the land that started the big family sedan and to see it be replaced with trucks and crossovers makes me sad.
I use to have a 89 mazda mx-6 turbo like 20+ years ago and i think its a shame that nobody remember that car!! I was racing lot and lot of friend and could beat up or at least keep up with a lot of car!!
Been almost 2 years now in the search for 1 of the few to restore and have fun again! 88-92 1st gen was the best!!
My mom has a Caliber SRT in the driveway 😂, only problem was the rear hatch lock👍
Love the “ I will ram you” design on the front.
But seriously we need more “boxy” rear wagons!
I don’t want to drive an EGG!!
Bring back the OEM factory bolt on options or tuning options like the late 2000's
Probably won't happen cause of EPA
Neon SRT4 I think the optics and cool factor from dodge has improved and it could be marketed better now.
I believe the Pontiac Fiero was taken out to early. It had the potential to be a proper US competitor to cars like the MR2, Celica, civic, and integra. It was decently balanced, aerodynamically sound, and because it was basically a Chevy in the guts, had a near limitless tuning potential. Plus, could you imagine a SS trim with a high output turbo 4 or 6 cylinder?
Mazda being a leader in safety tech/ratings now makes sense. When SUV/Crossover testing got updated the CX-5 became number 1 in certain collisions, I think especially with other SUV/Crossovers. Which probably helped it succeed, when you want your daily to be safe for your kids if some dumb dumb t-bones you.
Mitsubishi Starion. The Car itself was awesome, the motor on the other hand, was not very reliable. If they had just kept it alive alongside the Eclipse, instead of killing it, they could of had 2 awesome sports coupes.
Love this, would appreciate if you made a video of potential cars sort of still available now that deserve a “second chance”. For example, the GK5 Honda Fit
Oooo I do like that:D
Hatchback muscle cars like the AMC Spirit AMX and Foxbody deserve a 2nd chance at life. Relatively small, affordable, practical, V8 powered, and RWD? Sign me up!
You're asking to bring back a whole brand for one car. I dont think thats in the rules. However, I will concede that Fastback mustangs and other pony cars should absolutely still exist.
@Treaxvour No I'm just asking for that type of car to be brought back. That being said as the resident AMC fanboy I'd 100% accept their resurrection
Honestly, 3rd gen eclipse's get shit on too hard. The looks are okay, but with some tasteful mods they can look very good while also unique from the crowd. Yeah, they are front wheel drive, but so are civics.
While on that topic, 4th gen eclipses arent that bad looking either...Eclipse's being RWD probably wouldve saved the platform
I’ve been partial to the ST185 Celica ALL-TRAC and ST205 Celica GT-FOUR.
I was working at a vista vw in south fl and there was a phaeton in the garage for like mad years. 😂
They usually never come back. Once broken, they become the most beautiful lawn ornaments
@@AlexMartini. it was gorgeous even with a layer of dust 😆
Honds CRX - it was lightweight, no gimmics. Similsr to the early 90s civics the styling of the CRX was timeless.
Mitsubishi evolution (but Mitsubishi dropped the ball big time this past 7 years) - hot hatches are a hit. Although the evo is not a hot hatch it pushed boundaries with Subaru. With the Golf R, and Type R there's potential. The Evo made its competitors really push the limit and competition is great.
Nissan Silvia - Nissan had a variety of great sports cars. Bring this back as the styling was great. It wasn't ever too expensive compared to the skylines.
More station wagons. The world is filled witj SUVs. At least in the north american market it would be nice to have more ststion wagon options. Mercedes does a great job with this and volvo.
We need a new Cobalt SS Chevy had a really good tuner car that was more refined than the Neon SRT-4 and held the record for the fast fwd car on the Nurburgring
I miss being in my friends lnf or lsj cobalt ss was so fun.
All that's left really is Civic, right? Or are there others@@Matty_mccfly
@@AlexMartini. that’s all I can think of besides some of gm products like the cobalt ss as stated by the other person and the Hhr ss.
The Phaeton with the W-16 down in it! 🤤
My list of cars would be the 7th gen Celica, mr2 and the El Camino, the MR2 and Celica mainly because they where sold at yhe wong time in there last itrations, but also because of how much heritage they have I have heard rumors of them coming back as EVS or whatever but we'll just have to wait and see. Otherwise with the el Camino it would be easy for gm to do it but they probably wouldn't , they could easily take the plans that they had from the Holden commodore ute's and build them in the US America and build a Chevy Montana which is pretty much just a cruise with a pickup bed.
Can we please give the VW Corrado VR6 and the Honda Prelude the respect they deserve?
The Phaeton is the Vag group Toyota Century, and yes Alex you must buy one🤭
The MPV was fucking awesome.
The Caliper I wasn't really feeling. I didn't even know it had an SRT version.
The phantom don't care for.
And I wouldn't touch a Benz that's newer than 95.
Okay hear me out I think that the Toyota-Fucking-Matrix needs a "third" chance, as it's had two generations, but with a twist.
I understand that there's no point in bringing it into the market with the Corolla hatch, so I believe that it should go from a hatch to a wagon, have a low production so it has a place in the market, have a fwd and awd varient, but for the awd shares the GR Corolla drivetrains just slightly tuned down, now name that trim the XR. And sell it to me!!!
Celica All-trac AWD and Turbo perfection
There's a lot of great underrated cars I used to think would be awesome if brought back. I've lost all hope lately though. If they brought something back now, it would be a silent, sterile, soulless EV version. I don't want to see even the shittiest cars of the past disrespected like that. They're talking about a fully electric Lexus LFA... I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
Never heard of an MPV?
I repossessed one and I got stranded on the road with it (cooling issues). Oh I remember MPV’s!
Want Kei cars. PNW has them. Mostly AWD or 4WD vans. Seems like whenever I leave town I see them
3000gt/Dodge stealth
I know the company doesn't have enough money nowadays but imagine the same type of car with all its kinks and issues figured out.
Lexus sporty sedans like the ls400,gs300,400
Popularity went down for luxury sedans but I think they can make a big comeback if they just advertised to the right crowd.
Lexus still makes those cars and it's still sportyish. The RC is supposed to be sporty out of the lineup
@@AdventureShock Yeah but a lot of people aren't buying them, most folks end up with a suv or a crossover these days.
I can see it now, a 2026 Mitsubishi 4000GT, Twin Turbo V8, 550 HP.
The last Mazda MPV looked really nice, but we need Mini Vans from all Japanese automakers altogether. Dodge messed the Dart by not giving us an SRT 4 2.0 turbo version.
Ngl, I wish there were more builds of those old (99-07) trailblazers. That was my first car and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Regret ever selling it
Toyota Previa. Rear drive, quirky, clever, versatile and takes very little effort to make into a badass build
The Ford Focus RS. Cool as f but no one understood bc we didn't get the cool Focuses (Foci? idk the plural) in the US prior to 2016.
Bring back the Honda Element - ultimate urban utility and super polarizing looks.
E55 amg first gen estate, w123, 124, 126 is my guilty pleasure
Definitely the Mitsubishi Evo and the Galant, the dodge viper, the MR2 the Celica, S chassis Nissans
Great video. Got a question. For a first car should i get a chaser or a ls400?
LS400. Chaser breaks and your f'ed
Thanks@@AlexMartini.
The Pontiac Bonneville GXP does but doesn't deserve a second chance. Yes it has the Northstar overhead cam V8, but it's a supercharged sleeper sedan that looks like any last gen Bonneville.
Bring back the Magnum, they're practical, they can be fast, we don't get wagons in the US anymore (WHY?? THEY'RE SO MUCH BETTER THAN SUVs AND CROSSOVERS)
And the SUNBEAM IMP those things look fun, they were better (imho) than the classic Minis they were competing against, and they look very simple and easy to work on, AND THEY'RE REAR ENGINE REAR WHEEL DRIVE
Edit:
AND THE WRX WAGON, AWD, turbo 4 boxer, Subaru rumble, practical
Let's -F*ckin'- Go Alex!
Want a cheap Honda motor. Buy an 04 through 07 saturn view with the v6. They could be optioned with a honda j35s1 engine and transmission.
Id like new affordable nissan performance wagons like the r31 wagons of the old(even if they are in nissan z clothing). They old ones were hawt and the new ones should have alot of potential considering that the z looks so good.
For me, it's the wagons like stagea
Can be fast but also practical enough to take my wife and kids for a vacation
mr-2, genesis coupe, manual GTRs
2 cars that im sure no one heard about that I still find cool has to be the Maserati 300s and Bmw z4 2019.
Chevy Corvair. They should’ve stood up for their engineering and defended it when Ralph Nader spouted bull crap about it. It was a great design, super unique layout, and was evolving into a potential cheap Porsche competitor before it was killed. It could’ve become a legend, but it didn’t live long enough to reach its full potential.
BMW M1, Buick GNX, too many to list
All I want is to be able to buy Accords again but they axed them here in Europe because apparently not enough people bought them
Any car that came with a GM 3800 series 2 engine supercharged
Toyota made a limited run of the aristo in a 1uz v8 and AWD in the 1st generation uzs143 and only produced it in japan. It was the early non vvti 1uz and had an axle through the midpan. These are so rare you can't even find pictures underneath without hours of deep dives into forums in other languages or calling around dealerships in japan to find one. Then got rid of awd entirely with the next generation giving it the power in 2jzgte in japan, or the 1uz vvti in america, both performing very similarly, and though it was a better-looking chassis, was again, not an awd v8. 3rd generation they decided to make it look like a damn chevy cruze, and despite having a new engine is just as fast as the earlier 2nd gen just uglier. Then in the 4th gens they elongated an IS and put the gs badge on it, but the gave us power, still didn't give us awd with a v8, but they did give you awd and a v6, then got rid of the gs/aristo altogether in 2020. They did a complete dis-service to that chassis and never made it the sleeper halo car it was meant to be.
Sports trucks in general need to come back b
Subaru WRX Wagon, the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, and the Ford Focus ST & RS
A new MR2 that’s another cheaper end enthusiast car like the past gens would be awesome
The Dodge magnum for sure. My argument? V8 wagon.
I miss my Dodge Caliber SRT-4 with 1-500 Mopar Body Kit and it wasnt a bad kit, not at all!
Really?! I need to see it. send it to me!
@@AlexMartini. Alright I sent it but it says you have to accept something on your IG page
Volvo C30 R Design. Swedish Scirocco/turbo 5 cylinder CRX from Scandinavia.
Nice, like a Swedish RS3.
Could you imagine if Toyota announced a modern mr2 for 2024? Give it the same horsepower as the 86 and it would be wonderful.
I understand that the RSX is an Integra, but they should make a modern RSX. (And just pull a Subaru and make the Impreza/WRX separate)
My reasoning
-i-vtec
-2 doors
-its one of (if not, the best) looking Acura, and so I can imagine that it'd look downright gorgeous if they made a modern one.
Hell, I'd be happy if they just pulled a Jordan and just resold the old one with modern technology.
I want a 2025 Mitsubishi 4000GT, twin turbo V8, 500+ HP.
Obvious answer is the viper, but im gonna also throw out an acura wagon. I had a TSX Wagon and that thing slapped.
Can someone talk about the Acura KA9 3.5 RL?
Prelude, Like a baby NSX in design but incredible handling to combat the celica and integra.
Mazda Speed and RX models. Mazda used to have so many cool and fun cars.
Alex bringing back the Ford Probe.
Not with that name
Volkswagen polo mk 7 and suzuki zen gen 3 needs to become a reality
The Toyota Altezza deserves a second chance. I mean cmon. Reliable, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive and a pure 90's sports car. Bring it back and give it a remodeled turbo charged 3sge
They need to bring back Mazdaspeed. A new Mazdaspeed3 and a Mazdaspeed Miata would be the shhiiiitttt
MPV is unknown except for old school hip hop fans. We remember it and its fame
As a German, Alex... The answer to the Mercedes and many more Mercedes is like always.... Emissions and fuel consumption... Unfortunately.
Bring back the Ford Focus RS!
Gosh darn we were too mean to that one. Loved that car!
Saab 93t!
If they made an srt4 dart it would've sold better I bet
Pontiac firebird should make a comeback
Nissan 240sx... needs a revival asap!!!!
can't believe you called logan pauls apology "heartfelt" lmao
I want more Japanese estate cars
Mazdaspeed need to come back 🥲
Honestly, we need to bring back station wagons. Give me an Acura TSX wagon.
Nissan Stagea GTR, with 550 HP
The obvious choice is the RX-7 making a true comeback 😅
The Peugeot 406 Coupe
More tech then a 2023 roku tv😂😂😂😂😂
VW Corrado. Why? Just look at it.
Toyota mr2. A super cool car that’s life was cut off to short, the 3rd gen isn’t an mr2 just saying lol 😂
V6 Altima ser
Stop talking about w211s, i still need to own one while theyre affordable 😂
VW Phaeton is basically a cheap Bentley
With worse reliability.
Ford Pantera
There is the Camaro then the Corvette. And before you mention the Ford GT look and the price point. Ford doesn’t have a corvette competitor. So…..
Ford Pantera
What would it look like? A DeTomaso Pantera?
Hyundai genesis coupe🎉
Ask Nissan to make the iDX… Porfavours!!!
I think they are bringing back the V8 AMGs.
After 💩 sales 📈 , they will
Pontiac G8.....
How about commodores in general?
@@Mu4dD1b15 very true
@@Mu4dD1b15if you live in Australia, yeah.

Homework ain’t it, ya know?
*cough cough* "camaro" why in the world would you scrap one of your only affordable v8 coupes because the vette is cool but the c8 is NOT affordable
