Never saw a radio that actually auto tunes for an accurate signal. Your videos are always informative and entertaining. 600 is Radio Rebelde from Cuba. 730 (if you can find it) is XEX from Mexico City.
Per your remarks about the station you got on 600 kHz, I have been getting Cuba on the lower end of the AM dial recently. My understanding is that it is typical to get Cuban stations on the Am dial in winter.
Thank you, Todderbert, for presenting an excellent video on the performance of the Sangean PR-D4W Weather Alert Radio! This Sangean PR-D4W seems to be both very sensitive & selective regarding MW reception! It appears to be a great MW Dxer indeed! Overall the Sangean PR-D4W appears to be a superior receiver with good rich sound coupled with nice features including an AUX! Weather radios are great to have during severe weather activity. I personally would purchase this radio as it seems like a highly efficient performer indeed!
After watching your video reviews on this radio, I was just about to buy it. It was 62.00 less than 2 months ago. Now 140.00? I'll wait till the price drops. Because that's what Amazon does. Their prices fluctuate. But great review anyhow. Lol.

I have this radio and it is amazing I'm in Minnesota and I can pick up Pennsylvania even Utah stations on that thing that is the power of radios and the company is amazing I'm making radios
I'm considering this radio because it includes Weather Band broadcasts. Unfortunately your video review failed to demonstrate tuning in any of those stations.
Another great review. Please review the LiJiANi model 218WB. An amazing little radio! Has better sound than the CC Skywave (but no SW or Air). Has weather & digital readout & memories; but doesn’t sound quite as good as the Sangean SR 35. Nice backlight too. Check it out!
About Sangean PR-D7BK I love rechargeable option but if Sangean PR-D4W has more sensative vs Sangean D7 I will give up this option Your advice please 😇
Hi Todderbert, over the weekend, the air band quit working on the C Crane Skywave SSB radio. It was working fine and when I went to my local airport to listen to the pilots and test it out, it was static. All the other bands work fine but the air band is static and no voices. What do I need to do?
I want to commend Todderbert for his Radio Wave series of videos on CZcams. They are informative, accurate, as well as entertaining. However, I want to admit that I cringe whenever Todderbert brings out his Iron Man deck of cards for size comparisons. He always does this, and he always slips into a singsong Asian accent and delivers some lame made-up limerick ending with "China Land". I wish he would not take cheap shots at Chinese workers who make and design most of the inexpensive radios that he reviews. It is not funny, and the cheap joke wears mighty thin after hearing it just a few times. I am amazed that no one mentions this. Todderbert is such a wonderful resource for radio fans that I hesitate to even mention this, but mention it I must because I think it is demeaning to all Asians. I would like to think that a love of radios and broadcasts should transcend politics and racism. One suggestion: just bring out a regular deck of cards when you do size comparisons, since most of us have similar cards and can relate to them better than with an Iron Man card deck. Thank you.

It is all in fun, since everyone complains that most of the radios on the market today are made in China, and Sangean makes one of the finest. So the Chinese should be proud. As far as Iron Man cards go, well they are here to stay.

Very nice radio! I have a few Sangean radios and they work so well. Sangean U3 is main main radio for news and such.

I flat out love this radio. It is great for pulling in AM, and most of all it is very intuitive to use.

Just ordered one. It was $175 but its Canada and everything is expensive here. Hope its a DX monster as some say it is.

You couldn't get KFAB Omaha on 1110? Sometimes I get that here in chicago. It's hard to get and I like to get it when I can.
Chicago is probably too far west to get WBT on 1110.

Coincidence? I would call C.Crane and ask them about it. Did you try the radio a little bit away from the Airport? I pickup O'hare, Thirty Miles Away.
