About a decade ago I got my car stolen in Philly. Was super depressed about it and was riding home with some friends when the usual route we took back to our apartment was closed off due to flooding. We pull off on the detour and as we head down this side street we notice a car that looked just like mine, same model, same color, same everything. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it wasn't just a car like mine... it actually WAS my goddamn car! Reaching in my coat pocket I realized I still had my keys with me... SO I STOLE IT BACK. Drove away laughing, knowing that asshole had to walk home that night. Had the flooding not happened though, I never would have seen my car.

My worked s14 got stolen from a party i was at, about 3.30am my friend was leaving and came back In and told me my car was gone, i ran out the front and couldn't see it, stood there for a minute and could hear it starting up and revving a few blocks away, it has a cold start problem at the moment, ran for the love of my car as fast as I could and saw it and the end of a street with the bonnet up and 2 guys standing in front, fought for my life as well as I could by myself, got punched kicked and stomped, luckily a large group of friends has eventually come from the party and helped fight them off, I got my car back with only a broken ignition barrel

I stole 50 cars in 72 hours to save my brothers life once. Anyway it all ended up being a waste of time the last car I had to steal was a 67 gt500 and I banged it up real bad. Long story short I just ended up killing the guy holding my brother ransom.

I was just surprised you weren't more (reckless?) IDK, in situations my adrenaline goes and I feel justified so i go to my limit.. maybe i just have never had something like your car on the line.
In my opinion, the situation never got to the point that "reckless" was needed. And at the same time I had just finished a rebuild from blowing up my top end, so I was still being a bit skeptical on pushing the motor.
Wouldn't want to escalate the situation to where the thief has to push the evo to its limits and him being a new driver to the car he would most likely damage it.

If the car was stolen, why wasn't the police called when following the car. I certainly would of called and followed much closer until the proper authorities were there to take the scumbags to where they truly belong
i called the friend who told me it was stolen first, to see if it was actually stolen and to double check i was behind the right car. i dont often see the guy who owns the car, i didnt even know he had took the wing off.
following closer would have just made the guy try harder to run and then further the chances of the car getting damaged. the cops also took over an hour to pick this guy off. and all the footage of me speaking to the police has either been muted or not included at their request. I would have loved to have actually pursued the car like in the movies, but the one running almost always crashes the car trying to get away.
im not saying you're wrong, i just went a different way about it, not the most productive but it definitely made for an interesting drive home from work considering i wasnt even looking for the car. i just wanted to go to bed after working 12 hours lol

jake w evo 10s are rated for 290 at the crank.. Stock they'd make maybe 230 to the wheels, if your 300hp to the wheel sr isn't keeping up with a stock evo or even a few bolt ons. Someone lied to you about your whp. When my silvia was at 255 to the wheels it was even with the evo x.

My brothers nsx was stolen from his home in Florida, by some pros they've been scouting out for a few days and on the day my brother went out using his Hyundai sonata and left the nsx in the garage they broken in and drove out, few days later my brother went to a bodyshop to see if he can buy my a bodykit for his friend, parked in the back covered up with a tarp was his nsx easily noticeable because of his rear wing and bodykit and well the fact his keys opened the door, he was best buds with the manager there and turns out they had the car resprayed before coming to them about removing the bodykit, we got the car back resprayed and the Two Theif came back that night only to meet cops waiting in the back for them
