Every manufacturer says never twist it before pulling out.

Thanks for the tip. Every mechanic I've ever seen do it twist it. Hopefully it was a manufacturer and not the engineer lol.

Interested in buying a well used Sprinter. Would appreciate your insight as too what to look for and avoid.

Avoid if it requires Blue Def. Check the wiring harness for breakage, everything else generally are very solid but they tend to have a vibration between 50 and 60 mph which is oddly normal. Turbo is easy to go out. Mine doesn't use oil and never an issue with overheating. AC is common to go out and not very easy to work on so once there's no space. A lot of them will need some transmission fluid since no on checks them(,no dipstick) but it can be purchased on Amazon. Brake calipers in front will stick causing excessive wear but removing and not quite grinding them down, more of a wire wheel rust removal will remedy the problem indefinitely.

Sorry that was a different video. Wiring harness can break unless relocated, blue def is hated avoid that model(forced purchase), front caliper can rust and stick easily fixed with wire wheel, battery main fuse can oxidize causing a poor charge condition, AC is difficult to repair as there's not any room, vibration between 50 and 60 mph common, but mine runs like a champ. Ahh and turbo goes out easily
