- Whether it's caused by a nail, screw, renegade branch or other sharp and pointy object, a flat tire caused by a puncture is something that most of us have to deal with at some point and time especially if you take your Jeep off road. And, while it can be a bummer, it is at least something that can be fixed quickly and with relative ease. The best part is, so long as the hole is located on the tread, the repair will be good enough that you won't have to think about again. Thanks for the video. Yours was better than the first one I watched because you said to inflate the tire to make it easier to insert the reamer tool. I was having a hell of a time trying to do it when the tire was soft. The puppy video was an extra treat. I have a German Shepherd/Husky, almost three years old, named Doofy.

Been using a kit similar to that one, safety seal , bought mine in 1975 , still use it today
The ending caught me off guard, but I loved it. 😁 The only addendum I'd make is to take the tire out for a quick ten minute drive to help the tire warm up and the plug to bond. Great video!

Great job on the video, excellent topic but also some clever editing. I have a big rig with a leaking tire. I believe it is a nail, and at $600 per tire, I finally decided to buy the Safety Seal Tire Repair kit that looks similar to the one you have. You made it look easy, and I hope now that I have observed the process demonstrated, I am as successful in my repair as you. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate. My Slime kit includes rubber cement. It seems like a good idea. The tools are not as nice on their cheap kit, but the pro kit looks good and I will probably get it soon. The inexpensive kit did work well. I got it at Walmart for less than $10.

I just did this using a different kit. Getting the plug in was something.
i love your how to do videos, i wish you would show how to do trail repairs on vehicles like gladiator or jk, what needs to be repaired and how to do it video would be great, changing an axle shaft, fixing a broken u joint, any repairs you have seen done on the trail and how to get your vehicle back to civilization. this would be a great set of videos for the beginner off roader and would also help with selecting the tools and parts needed to keep your jeep running off road , these would be a refference series for all offroaders.
Actually, we do feature some of that in our videos. Our Bedeviled video shows an axle shaft change and I'm pretty sure our Maple Honey one shows a u-joint replacement. We've also done ring gear removals on a few others. But, we also have specific videos that show some of this stuff in detail and they'll help out a lot on the trail.

Good video! My dad has plugged many a tire, and I actually have the kit you shared the link to. It is frowned upon to run on in the side, like that, but Dad would, Lol.

This title is so much longer than it needs to be lol.. "How to plug a punctured tire with ease" was all you needed lol.. English is my 3rd language, so where my English lessons were so grammar focused, this sentence reminds me if myself in high school years lol.. I was always being corrected.
I am a truck driver (Tanker oil field in North Dakota) and I got 4 of those kits one for my wife’s car my Gladiator our grand Cherokee and my semi. Very handy even if it’s a side wall and you don’t want to walk lol I got spare tires in everything but the semi but with 26 tires unless it’s a steer tire I can get to a shop
