Do the instructions tell you to twist the plug tool and pull it slowly out? I've used these type of plugs for years and the instructions basically say yank it out quickly. The twisting and then slowly pulling it out seems to be pulling most of the plug back out.
Yes I followed the instructions precisely. This kit is slightly different to the standard plug kit.
These are basically a copy of the nealy plug kits. Interested to see how long they last, nealy plugs are pretty much permanent if done correctly.

Pretty sure they are the same exact product. I can't believe they are not better known as this kit is so easy to use. Have driven on tires patched with these plugs for 10's of thousands of miles with no issues. That inside tire shot is great. Pretty funny if you Google this company their product sheet is from 2011.
you know what is the meaning of do not dip on box?
It means don't add any glue or other vulcanising fluid to the strip.

Is this procedure considered a permanent repair ?
This makers of this kit claim it's a permanent repair, when used correctly.
I've plugged many tires with this type of kit from regular street tires to large SUV terrain tires and they lasted till the end of the tires. Some kits come with a tube of rubber cement that you apply to the plug strips and some don't. I have used them with and without the rubber cement without any issues.
I would recommend the kit with a handle shaped like a T because it's easier to apply force than the straight handle here. Sometimes it's hard to push the shaft in because of the steel belt or the puncture hole is really narrow.
Other than an air pump you should also have a Phillips, flat head and needle nose pliers with good teeth so you are prepared for any type of object that gets impaled in your tire.
