I’m extra pumped about this review because we’re taking a look at two of my favorite mattress toppers on the market: the Response Gel and Cooling Copper toppers from #ViscoSoft. Crafted from plush #memoryfoam and infused with innovative cooling tech, these toppers are designed to keep you cozy all night long. But are they right for you?

While I’ve never had the pleasure of reviewing a ViscoSoft product before, I’m about to get up close and personal with the Response Gel and Cooling Copper mattress toppers. After all, the only way to really know a sleep accessory is to test it for yourself! Let’s get started.

I love the slow deep sink feeling! I get really hot, so the copper topper is ideal for me. 4" DEEP is a huge plus!

These are great looking memory foam toppers. i think between the 2 i would go with the copper topper just because of the bands that keep it secure and the thickness of it but they both would be amazing to sleep on.

The copper pillow top sounds perfect for me...I'm a a hot sleeper and the 4 inches looks like it will be comfortable on my joints.
These both look great! I would prefer the cooling copper topper because of the phase changing material in the cover and also the adjustable straps.
What a tongue twister, copper topper and top topper. I am intrigued with the copper topper, as I thought copper evenly distributes heat. Bonus as copper is helps fight bacteria.
Both look good to me. I think i would go with copper infused one since i tend to sleep hot and i like that its 4” and that it comes with a cover. Only con is the price but the 2” is reasonably priced. Great comparison, very informative.

I'm loving the Cooling Copper Topper! I'm on my bed SO MUCH watching tv and doing work from home. I try to split my days 60-40% in my chair and off it. The cooling is a big plus (having the copper draw heat away is neat!). The straps on all the corners is also a plus for me since I have to scoot up and down on my mattress. I imagine I would end up accidentally scooting a topper off the mattress over time😮..haha. The one thing I worry/wonder about is deforming memory foam/ latex after sitting in one spot for hours and hours each day...would that happen or am I better off getting very firm hybrid mattress? I am 187lbs
Both toppers seem amazing and I would benefit from both, but with me tossing and turning at night due to pain so the copper topper straps might be needed for me since I'm always having to redo my fitted sheet every morning. Would need help putting on the 4 inch copper topper, plus it comes with a washable cover ❤️ bit pricey but seems worth it Thank you for the great review!
The copper topper is the one for me, I would love to feel icy cold while sleeping
I honestly like them both for different reasons. I would like to be able to try them to really feel the way I would sleep on them.
Just bought the copper topper and love it. Also look around for discount code. I found one for 10% off and at least it took shipping and tax off.
Both topper looks awesome. I love sleeping in cool so cooling copper topper is perfect from me. Their 4 dustable straps sound awesome. But its little pricey for me.

If it was more in my price range I'd definitely go with the copper infused topper to combat how hot I sleep & being 4" thick. Currently have a 2" memory foam topper on my miserably ancient mattress I paid 79. for but unfortunately its starting to feel like the spot I sleep in is beginning to groove even tho I haven't had it very long. Would like to know if this is the norm for cheaper toppers...
With all of the memory foam toppers and mattresses, what is the recommendation for cleaning once soiled?
ViscoSoft COPPER COOLING TOPPER Would be my choice. it just seems thicker and would not smash down as much as the other one. I do like that it is infused with copper and sleeps cool but all in all just seems like you get more bang for the buck. Would love to have this topper being a side sleeper I would lean towards the more lofty looking one.
I prefer the depth of 4" on the Copper Pillow Top to the 2" of the Response Gel Foam. Another reason I believe I would favor the Copper Pillow Top is that it sleeps cool, which is something I really need. It would be the Copper for me even though it's the more expensive.
I would prefer a 2 inch copper topper were it available. In future videos please talk about whether there as any out-gassing or chemical odors from the pads and if so how long it takes to dissipate.
Also if i had the money I would buy both and stack them..WOW my own little cloud on top...YESSSSS

Love the cooling copper mattress topper. I prefer thick and antimicrobial material as I have allergies. My only concern is its high price.

I ordered this topper 2” (it hasn’t arrived yet) but I’m starting to wonder if it was a good choice.
Please help: I’m suffering from shoulder pain, waking up with tightness from my back to my jaw. I’m a side sleeper & occasionally on my back. My hubby sleeps in all positions and is a hot sleeper. Our mattress is 8 years old and I’m thinking of purchasing a new one in a couple years, but I need a topper in the meantime.
What do you suggest?
I like the copper topper but I don't like the price. It would probably be worth it though since I am a hot sleeper.
How does the sink/feel of viscosoft compare to Tempur-Pedic?
Hey Ryan, the feels are pretty similar, actually. However, the TEMPUR-Topper offers a deeper sink and slightly slower response to pressure, in my experience. It also feels a bit more dense and durable, kind of like its own mini-mattress!
