Damn I was a few months late on the news of the release of a manual version of the Supra. I guess I will have to suffer with my Cayman purchase last year. Great review 👍
Still disappointed you can’t drive the Supra with the windows down. A fundamental flaw still not fixed. The manual fixed all my other gripes with the vehicle. I am very curious about the reliability on the engine. Especially since Toyota puts its port and direct injection system on vehicles like the GR86 but left this engine DI only which I thought was interesting that they took such a hands off approach with the Supra. All that said, if I could afford the MSRP on the manual Supra I would buy it. Sadly it’s $10k over my budget
Great reviews! Looking at either the 718 base plus necessary options, or the Supra. With what should be std options I am at 85g Cad on the 718 and since it’s like building a pizza it gets expensive. Wishing their design engineers would amp it up with subtle changes so you can tell if it’s new or 10 years old. Guess it saves on parts. Would anyone know how long it takes to get the new pizza after ordering? Do you think I could go wrong with either car? Thanks!

The Cayman GTS 4.0 is almost double the price of the Supra... yet they are very comparable performance wise. I can understand your disdain for the Supra.
@@prodnxbu yes, and I only liked the noise insulation and interior albeit the gr86 has a better shift knob position. power is there, but it isn't really useable for everyday driving. if i'm owning a car, i'll be driving it daily and it'll gonna be my only gar. gr86 won that. if someone were to give me this supra, i'll instantly sell it to buy a gr86 and use the remaining money to modify it.
