In our newly converted van bus we road tripped the legendary NC500 route! Taking the one track roads head on we started anti-clockwise. We made an incredible itinerary visiting some of the BEST spots the north coast highlands have to offer! Wild camping our way around we started in inverness we make our way to the Isle of Skye (in part 2)
We spent 14 days touring around this stunning part of the world in our motorhome. Scotland is just breathtaking! Top tip if you're in a motorhome - we used the app Park4Night to find wild camping spots.

Thanks so much for all the tips and recommendations. We only had two weeks to get around as our friends could only get that much time off work but SO NOT FEAR! We plan on going back around in the next few weeks and taking it slower, trying not to miss anything out! (any recommendations would be CLASS!) I just got back from spending 6 nights in a converted/camping defender going around NC500 and Skye! most incredible stops and which were not popular in my own Scottish Gal opinion were (in order, east coast first) Tarbart Ness Lighthouse, The Whaligoe Steps, Strathy Beach, a carpark around Achnasheen - kinlochewe where a Stag hangs out (v friendly, will let you get close for pics) and then the rest is Skye dunno if you plan on heading there but we spend 2-3 days there!
hehe just realised you saw some of these places but its ok go again if its sunny and the water looks 100% better and blue!
Highly recommend spending more time on Skye. So many awesome places there to see such as Talisker distillery (in Carbost) and Skye brewery (in Uig). Also the fairy glen (Uig), Dunvegan castle and Portree if you get time. Too many others to mention! Worthy of at least a couple of days there if you want to explore Scotland. I could put loads more!
Nice to see you took the scenic route North (A82) rather than go up the A9.
I just want to say that you two deserve waaaaaaaaaaaay more subs/views. The effort you put in to your videos is so underappreciated. I know what kind of work it takes to produce these; you both deserve all the success you can get.

I would just DIE if I saw one being born! 😆😭 they’re the best things ever! We had to miss our Applecross which apparently is one of the best places to see them because custard went into the garage! But we’re coming back in a few weeks and I cannot wait to get a pic with one. 🥰🥰

If you've never been, then you need to go to Isle of Lewis/Harris. Get ferry from Ullapool, tour Lewis then head down to Harris. Google the beaches of Harris, such as Luskentyre or Seliebost. The whole island is just magical, Scottish Caribbean 😍

Welcome to Scotland 🏴 guys. A couple of things you could check out on the way back home - The Kelpies (looks amazing lit up at night) and The Falkirk Wheel which is the worlds only rotating boat lift. Aerial shots are superb and the Scottish accents....hmmm! 😂

I know this is 2 years old and you won't see it but me and my partner are wanting to do the NC500 in a campervan with our two cats and planning it has been stressful 😅 money wise as cost of living is amazing 🙂😅 so this has helped so much so thank you hopefully be on the road soon ❤️
John o’groats is such a nightmare theme park 😂
It’s not even the furthest point north, which is actually a place called Dunnet Head, a few miles to the west, stunning cliff nature reserve with puffins and all kinds of amazing seabirds. Also an easy car park to stay in, definitely recommended.

Have to admit, I PSML when Craig mentioned a commercial American Bourbon in a Scottish Whiskey distillery.🤣🤪 Probably the funniest thing I have heard in recent weeks.
I am so surprised you did not get shot, or at least ran out of town.
If you want a decent whiskey option - look to Dewars the brewery, they have a world famous Seargeant under their roof.
Just been to Sinclair Castle with my mate Karl Sinclair, it’s his ancestral home 👍 then up to John O’Groats… flippin cold 😅

We just did NC500 last weekend on motorcycle, 7 of us...ITS CLASS.
I was so impressed, me and wifey are heading back up in my renault trafic van this comming weekend. 3 nights 4 days, wont get it all done but we will give it ago. Well you 2 enjoy it, its stunning

Lads, massively jealous. Love Scotland but yet to do the NC500. Few recommendations for you on Skye, Coral Beach is lovely, Talisker Bay, Glenbrittle beach, An Corran beach and go Dinosaur hunting :) :) (loads of beaches here......)

I mentioned in the past video that it was cool for me to come on board at this point in your travels but I didn't know it was going to benefit you too because I have a great idea for your gas gauge. I saw how it was done years prior and then I had to do it for myself on a vehicle and it worked, you fill your gas tank and your gas can and you drive till you run out of gas and you write down how many miles you went, then you take your gas can and pour it into your gas tank and drive to a gas station which be careful, it takes planning then you fill up and write down the mileage when you fill up and when you're planning trips you can also plan your gas stops more accurately and safely, good luck I hope you find a point in your travels where you can try that
