But sadly senhiser discontinued the cx 180. Even 275s also not available in the market 😐

I have these two. Based on build quality and bass quality sony wins. Unlike xb series of sony 255ap has descent sufficient bass. But cx 275 wins in audio clarity. Sony has also a very good clarity. Also high pitch sounds are some what overpowering in cx275s and in some cases i need to turn down the volume. I think for an allrounder performance 255ap is best.

Yeah I using ex155 for 2 years with rough use and still it's survived, akg which has breaded cable not last 1.5 years with me, I yet not understand what akg has to cost them 6000, I think ex 155 is on par with akg in sound quality with 800rs price.

After your recommendation I recently bought sony mdr ex255ap for rs. 1700 this is the very first time that I purchased any earphone priced this much before this I've used One more piston fit and Sennheiser CX 180 they delivers almost balanced sound I was using these earphones on my moto g8 plus the sound output on this device is fairly good But when I plugged these sony ex255 earphones on same device it producing little bit hollow sound don't no why the sound is kind of unpleasant to me Is this the signature sound of ex255ap ?? or am I not familiar with this type of earphones ?? or is there any problem with my smartphone's output ?? @@anonyfeed1076 yeah it's great so far almost 1 week after my purchase can say if you have normal ears you'd love them. its comfortable for me 4-5 hours ez. The frequency range of 255Ap is what i loved in them, the balance was lovely though tune in the equalizer in for better balance as sometimes the treble is just too much depending on song. Great in gaming also (careful for Csgo though 😂 can't play at full volume because the sound of Rifles is just a little too high at full volume( can give headache) . Footsteps and other things are just perfect and crystal clear. Rest i had an 150ap before this used it and i used it for 1 and half year and i loved its balanced nature, Ex255 Ap is almost like it just the sounds are much more defined and even more clear while keeping the balance too

Yeah XB 55 is a little on the bigger size in comparison but i think for EDM that would've been more better. I have got CX 275 and I am in love with it. Yeah.. Bass is not that punchy but it is quite good.

Usually If u liked senheiser u wouldn't like Sony. Because the audio sense is different and you won't get used to it
You need an EQ as Sony and Sennheiser has different sound signature.
Or it may just be a faulty earphone
