Thank you for making this comparison video. I'm using both ex255ap and enco buds. I think the enco buds microphone is ok but not that great. And also left ear bud charge depleted before the right ear bud. I use Oppo for music and Sony for movies. Your videos helped me choose the best earphones out there. 👍🏽

i have ex255ap , tribit xfree go and soundcore life q10. these are very good in their segment. especially ex255ap is too good for watching movies and soundcore for action movies.

Mine came in plastic. They need a 2 to 10 hour burn in. They are very efficient. Vocals are forward and stagging is excellent. Great for .mp3, CZcams music, TV, movies, they just make everything sound great.
Here's some tips to get the tone correct. Everyone knows what clapping hands sound like.
You can find hand clapping anywhere to adjust the tone.
I use a song by Coldplay - Adventure of a Lifetime.
The clap should sound as natural as possible, not hollow or tunnel like.
For IEs and IEMs, to change the tone try changing tips. That's all I did for these to sound great.
Now everything will sound correct.

I bought the Oppo enco buds recently, and I've noticed that the left ear buds battery discharges faster than the one on the right!
The difference varies from 10-20% in battery juice (L50% R60%)
This greatly affects the overall play time on the ear bud, like the left one will run out of juice almost 50mins before the right one does!
My question to you is, have you noticed the same thing??
I had raised a request for replacement, but the technician said it is normal, and that left one dies faster because it the "MASTER BUD"
I've raised one more request tho. Btw, absolute brilliant video! Stick to it, keep up the good work!

My Right earbud drains faster than the Left one. I'm getting only 4-4.5hrs backup during calling(only when using for calling). Have you noticed these?

After your recommendation I recently bought sony mdr ex255ap for rs. 1700 this is the very first time that I purchased any earphone priced this much
before this I've used One more piston fit and Sennheiser CX 180 they delivers almost balanced sound
I was using these earphones on my moto g8 plus the sound output on this device is fairly good
But when I plugged these sony ex255 earphones on same device it producing little bit hollow sound don't no why the sound is kind of unpleasant to me
Is this the signature sound of ex255ap ??
or am I not familiar with this type of earphones ??
or is there any problem with my smartphone's output ??

Vishnal i dont know if its applicable to all earphones and especialy to ex255 but they say thr is a "burn in" time-it means- it should be used for some time before it delivers what it should( like 5 to 20 hrs usage at some volume level).
But when u say hollow.....
I listened the same song with 4 different earphones
#1-A very heap one 1$--> sounds like "player got flu" /sound comes from the nose(not talking about the vocals_its all the music)
#2-A 6$ one--> very good bass and good treble but suprasses the vocals
#3-Samsung S9 akg-->emphasize vocals very much rest is suprassed(bass and treble)
#4-Philips 7years old-->balanced but for some songs not enjoyable and lively as 6$ one
(All r cabled, only philips is over the ear others in ear)
What do u mean when u say "hollow" is it like
voice coming from nose/ like player got flu
or Voice coming samewhere deeper and far away
or like some tone bands missing
İ wonder very much about ex255 and ur experience, view and sharings with it and ur comparison to ur 1more piston fit and cx 180 will be appreciated (İ cant find a better source than u for thiscomparison)
Replace it may be manufacturing defect if its humming i used them for a year
its crytal clear

Please recommend the best one, I have previously used RHA ma390. Need something new :P A review for the above mentioned earphones would be just perfect
1. ex255ap is good
2. soundmagic e10c is good for most people but they didn't impress me.
3. Based on using cx275s which have good clarity and can be sharp sometimes i guess cx80 will be more or less same.
4. No idea on marshall.

Watched ur review and bought these Sony 255ap..they sound like pure shit..had lotta expectations from it. But sounds nothing compared to jbl c150si or oppo enco products. It sounds too muffled..not enough details. Soundstaging is again shit. Bought this from offline store(reliance digital)can't even return now. Never gonna blv any review from now on.⛔
The unit I have came in a plastic box and is made in Thailand. May be you have a new unit that is in a paper box and manufactured in some other location. This may have resulted in some quality issues.
@@lotoftech its also written Thailand and the model name in opposite sides of earphone wire divider. Bought it from reliance digital store. It has the hologram sticker too. Now I am going to sell to someone in cheap rate.😤
