Downhill takes a lot of strength and technique to conquer. Not tennis, not swimming, when you suck you can still run around and play. But in Dh, you crash so bad if you don’t have the strength in the fingers to pull the brakes after just a few minutes in the DH course. The lay back technique, the use and control and pressure withstand from your thighs while going down hill super bumpy and uneven all the way down. It is just crazy

I think that some of these are just because the pole are horribly placed. Like some would have been fine if it weren’t for the awkwardly places poles

The whistle blowers are the track marshals who let everyone know that a rider is coming, so that you can get off the track on time.
