I remember my 1st dh race at whistler bike park. Made an amateur move of leaning out to far coming out of a berm on the double diamond track, slid off the track, and smacked my face on a tree. Knocked me out before i even hit the ground, broke my nose, and bent the left side of my raceface atlas 3 handle bars up almost 2 inches. Bleeding all over my self, asking if my bike was ok when i woke up. Had no clue where i was at, but i knew i had to make sure my bike was ok.
