I am from Sarajevo and I live there I am 14 years old, and back in 2014, 30 years after the Olympic Games, they came to Sarajevo to ice skate again to kinda recreate everything and me and my team were ice skating and performing with them, one of my best experiences ever!!!
"Ballroom dancing with boots with blades on cool stuff" should be official definition of ice dancing.
I was one of those millions of people watching this live and it stop my husband and I in our tracks, we knew we had seen something truly wonderful. We talked about it often. It was perfection.

Not just all over Britain, they captured the minds, hearts and imagination of the whole viewing world. Every program they did including the exhibitions was thrilling and perfection. Some of their short programs were magnificent. Aside from bolero my all time favourite was Mack and Mabel. I literally stopped breathing. Their scores were record breaking.
This was the couple, and the routine, that changed the world of ice dance forever.
I remember I watched this performance live. It truly was the most amazing performance.
We called them Perfection. Loved when they came back in '94 and skated this routine again.

My opinion.
Gorgeous I agree. I remember that controversy. The Russian team that won gold was good, but T & D were Perfection! They should have gotten the gold.

They still skate to this routine sometimes and every time is just perfect! Regardless of their ages now, they continue to impress.

I love the olympics but you make your videos so boring, it isn't a news cast it needs some excitement and energy. Show the athletes routine and get someone who loves the sport to narrate

I think you're being a bit harsh Api, this new wave of Olympic films are excellent. And we did get expert narration from the TV commentators. "We're so lucky to be here" sums it up
Api ~ the performance was from 1984 - so, in a sense, it is somewhat of a newscast ...
The point of this video, and this series, is to introduce older sporting moments to a new, young, and fresher audience - this is achieved through the use of animation, reconstruction, 1080p footage of the routine (which is only available on YT in 360p and lower) , and a 'relatable' moment - eg the moment where they show the random ice skaters doing tricks.
This isn't necessarily boring, it just sums the T/D story into the length of the routine to give viewers a taste of them. If they want to learn more, they can. If they don't, they don't.
