I know a single mom who had a gap of 10 years and still got an F1 level job. Being a single mom is a valid reason for taking a gap so GMC understands this and will not fault you for that.

I have 2 months gap in between internship because I was in contact with a patient who later tested positive and I was in quarantine and then Isolation.
At that peak time of covid there was no proper documentation of quarantine and isolation.

I'm a doctor from Sri Lanka and have a 3-year Clinical Gap as I was doing my local border exam to get registered in Sri Lanka as I was graduated from a foreign university from another country. Then I completed PLAB 1 and getting ready for PLAB 2.

Hello doctor, I am from India. I graduated around 15 yrs back. Initially did clinical jobs at small hospitals, then got married to an army officer who was posted at remote places, so I didnt have much employment opportunity. I consciously took a break of few yrs to raise my daughtr and be with family. Then I started working again but most of the time in non- clinical areas of medicine. I am willing to move to UK now if I can pass PLAB 1 and 2. Would u be kind enough to let me know if this break and non- clinical jobs would be a problem for GMC registration.
I want to start the prep after getting fully informed as I am a mother and would not like to indulge in something thats not going to be fruitfull. Looking forward to your reply.
